  1. Yeah, I know, I'm a lotro lifer. They still manage to extract lots of money out of me in that damn store, way more than if they were on a straight $15 month sub fee. I just hate re-occuring credit card billing.
  2. I know other games have done this in the past as well, and it seemed to work for them. I would like to see a lifetime subscription option for this game. I know many people that would be will to pay $200 - $300 for a subscription for life. All things considered, you would still make a ton of money from those users in the form of micro-transactions in the cartel store. BW and EA please consider this. Because even with the free to play option, there are many others that may still give up on this great game.
  3. SOE did exactly this with SW Galaxies. If you didn't transfer your character to an active server, it got deleted when they shut it down. There was plenty of advanced notice though.
  4. Maybe this is already posted somewhere, but with Bioware telling people of a specific server to transfer to another specific server, does this mean that Bioware is gearing up to reduce the number of servers they have available to players and eventually that people on the less populated servers will be forced to transfer or risk having their characters deleted? (Ex. Star Wars Galaxies server shutdown of 2009). It doesn't affect me all that much as I am on a server to which people are being transferred. I am just curious. It seems like this is the handwriting on the wall if Bioware has not made an official declaration of their intent.
