Maybe its just me.. but I really cant tell if the OP is serious or trolling. I hope he is trolling...

Looking at the movies.. the few times jetpacks where used where just for brief moments and not really for traveling. Then ofcourse from a realistic point of view.. you'd bring alot of extra weight with you for the fuel alone for an extended flight instead of the extended ..jumps we've seen in the movies. Which.. also creates a rather exploideble weakness in combat. Boba fett can vouch for that and he only used the lighter extended jump version. And yes.. suggesting realism in a mmo is a tad off, Im aware of this, just like Im aware pulling a full car sized mount out of thin air isnt very realistic either, but I can understand that being done for practical reasons. Then again the movies support my statement above.

wounded soldier mission (h2) on coresant if you are republic works too. Alot of h2 and h4 missions give light/dark alignment and are easy to do at 50.

So what does it take to get immediate action on a credit seller?
Panthian replied to Kalfear's topic in General Discussion
Currect it Is a slam shut case, but they still DO need to look into the matter, they cant nor should just slam the banhammer just because a name is reported, they need to see why and if there is ground to ban. In the case of a spammer the proof is pretty obvious though. You called someone a RMT supporter because he mentioned he DOES expect bioware/EA look into the matter and not just blindly ban a person who is reported, just because he was reported. Aion indeed is doing alot better, then again like every Ncsoft game the spammers where beyone present in that game. That and it still is hard to say if the spammer is actually gone or just recycled. And people are right, BW/EA are slow on taking actions, there's no excuse for that, fortunately we do have atleast some tools to sillence the spammer for a while. -

I wouldnt go for an auto-ban system for any lvl range to be honoust, its too open to exploits. But you are right, its a basic feature now in WoW, even though just like.. most mmos, like rift it didnt start out having that feature. Then again, nowadays the RMT is a very well known issue and they SHOULD have anticipated this and have the feature in the game right from the start. -

Welcome to the 16th century. He is absolutely right though, it may be a slam shut case but they should definately look into the matter before taking actions. -

Im not disagreeing with you but.. in pretty much every mmo out there they are the same problem even the biggest one. Infact the more.. successfull ones have a much harder time sillencing the spammers. Rift for instance had a huge gold spammer problem, ironic enough the more Trion did to counter them, the more spam I was getting, the more agressive Trion was banning them the more characters where made and faster to spam us again. Leaving them.. somewhat alone for a X period of time made it much much easier to just ignore them and clear the list after a few days. WoW? Not only did they spam all channels, especially shout and say near auction houses, they even managed to use character corpes to spell out their sites for days on end. Im not even going to start on any Ncsoft game.. good lord.. I hate the spammers as much as the next but realisticly speaking we probebly ARE better off by letting them spam for a while, which.. as stated above will make it far easier to block them for a while. -

Lvl 50, my scoundrell is rocking pretty much daily commission armoring and barrels and the mods/enhancements from the dailies. took 2 minutes longer to complete My shadow is a mix of rakata and campain gear, no noticeble increase in time needed to complete. Im now playing my lvl 27 sent running around on tatooine, minor increase in travel times, for longer travels to quest locations futher out, neglecteble delay re-gearing kirra up. Mobs are rediculas easy to avoid on tatooine -

sector x dailies took me 2 minutes longer then normal because of this bug. Doesnt seem game breaking to me, just inconvenient. -

I did, and all you illustrate is that it just slows you down. Your own post illustrates its nothing but inconvenient, Im actually happy your post showed that fact. Doesnt make it right, it still is anoying but thats pretty much all there is. Simple sollution dont mount up for a 10 feet walk. -

Its not, its inconvenient. Quest mobs are ussually fairly close together so you can just walk these few feet instead of mounting up. Effectively all it does is slow you down. It sucks, no arguement there. -

Great excample, I remember: Vanilla : attacks bugging out losing both ranged as well as melee ability when switching attacking a mob standing on the switch point betwine melee and ranged attacks. Shamans.. godmode. burning crusades, a patch accidently removing auto-shot from hunters, took them ~3 months for them to fix it. Wotlk : pet classes under certain circumstances getting a 500+ hour reuse time on pets. But we arent here to debate the ..flaws of other games. You are right, bugs happen, it always sucks, it never SHOULD have happened but it does.. unfortunately. Sadly Im used to this from ~12 years of mmo's. There IS a work around this companion bug, so other then anoying IMO its far from game breaking. Im not apologising for them, Im not happy with this bug, Im just not up in arms. -
CHeers! Ill drink to that! When did you notice? I admit I havent been on my Fury for days but I didnt notice anything.

Its no apology at all, there really isnt any excuse for it. But sadly, this is VERY common in mmo's, EQ(and any other soe mmo) are no exception to this. Some things never will get fixed in every mmo, its still wrong. But I see your logics, Im not yelling doom and bloom, Im not calling to bring the pitchforks and torches there for Im defending Bioware. Lol. Only real difference betwine you and me is, I reported the issue and use the dequip-equip fix and do the things I enjoy, harping on it wont get it fixed any faster and certainly doesnt make me feel any better. -
