  1. Got a small suggestion I'd like to make about the diplomacy missions. Quite a lot of the time I find myself forced to take an opposing light/dark mission from my characters path as the path to follow I want has nothing but companion gift after companion gift. And so my suggestion is a simple one, out of the 7-8 on offer always have 2 dark (gift and supply) and 2 light (gift and supply) with the others more random. Keep the yield randomised but just have on offer a set minimum. This could also be carried over into underworld trade as it feeds too many crafting skills for whats on offer. Minimum of 1 cloth, 1 metal and 1 gift mission before you dump the randomisation into the mix. My other though for uw would be to shift cloths into a different gathering trade but that would likely be harder to sort out now than the tweak I proposed.
  2. I have 1 lvl50 and multiple alts around the 20-40 range and the pricing of the current legacy stuff is far too high. Unfortuneately my pts transfer was ignored in favour of someone elses clone army so I cant test or see what the new stuff is like but going by the current crop its just a glorified money sink that seems to be getting made worse by adding in a per character aspect. Grinding for cash has never been fun, never has been and never will be! This is true for both real life and games perhaps working for bioware things are different but for the vast majority of us grinding does not = fun. Games are meant to be fun and the need to grind detracts from that fun factor. My impression was that the legacy system would reward people for playing more than one character. However the grim reality is that unless you grind out cash on your highest level possible you wont be able to afford any of the so called perks for the characters that would be using them. And in doing so makes the whole purpose of buying the thing for your lower levels pointless as you're too busy trying to grind cash for them. I'd call it a pointless money sink but some of the things I can see having some use but they're still out of the reasonable range of those of us who don't or can't play 24/7.
  3. From maxxed out TH I've only ever had weapon schematics. I did get a crystal one but that was a random mob drop. Investigation has yet to produce any crafting schematics for me.
  4. Guss on belsavis suggesting that the wookie would be better suited to help confront the world razer. Guss also had a good one when I went off with the marshall on belsavis for a spot of nookie along the lines of "what, again? maybe we should arrange a signal"
  5. Irony, troll post complaining about trolls in swtor. crap graphics (atari 1200 has better) unlikely abilitys all bugged.. for instance gunslinger cant go into cover 60% of time.. Cover works, just the mechanic for choosing the cover is needing adjusted to make cover choice better mouse stops working.. cant click abilitys on the toolbar with it .. (need to restart game) Driver update perhaps? shadows are square.. (i can draw better shadows with my eyes closed) Again driver update or settings, shadows are fine for me but green laser fields need to go away bubbles from companion affection stays on screen if u close it when ur mouse is over it... If you know the cause of a bug then report it and dont keep doing it Founder title is just a thank you thing from BW to those that chose to continue to sub beyond the initial 30days gametime. You're not being asked to pay extra or buy a lifetime sub
  6. Always find it slightly amusing when people imply that the global player base outwith the US is smaller. Basic geography will tell you that that is unlikely at best. Scotland here and I have to say that the downtime is better/shorter that that for STO or LotRO. Yes it's not ideal but at least we seem to have CS folks on duty during our daytimes. And if a bit of downtime means I can chat with parties or in guild for the first time in a week or so then personally it was a downtime well worth it. The droids controlling tweets need to teach the turbine twitter goblin a thing or two as all their twitter based competitions are US times only.
  7. Only issue I've had it that flying an asteroid field while drunk leads to collisions. Shuttle escort has very few fighters coming from ahead so the rest you can hear coming in left or right, usually 2-3 ata a time. Then its just the destroyers, guns or missles do equally well and you can neuter one fairly effectively with just the basic ship. You've got wasd for dodging about and space for rolling, targetting is point and click. Really simple and really quite fun with some, obvious, pauses in combat for the eyecandy.
  8. Space missions could do with a trim of the XP, get your ship and thats basically a free level if you do given space combats. 11-12k XP is a pretty huge chunk of a level for a 5min daily. Found in beta the exploration XP gains are quite high, around lvl 18 or so I wandered over to hoth for a wander about and very large amount. So maybe cap that by level so as not to nerf it for the non explorers who'll wait til they need to visit a place.
  9. The game has target markers which is all thats really needed. DBM is a raid timer tool and so far I've seen no need for anything like that. Omen is fairly irrelevant nowadays in wow as blizz gave tanks pretty huge aggro generation. I hope you didnt mention dps meters as thats just epeen stroking If a dps decides to pull aggro on an unmarked or CC'd one then let them die, at somepoint they will do one of a few things. Mostly this will be either to learn that dps is primarily there to help the tank kill the designated target or ragequit after having died so often their gears broken. The latter may or may not come with a stream of abuse, noob calling, etc. As a tank you have to be vigilant yes but not to the point of having traumatic stress by the end of the run brought about from having to rescue the same muppet over and over and over. Even the average wow pugger can comprehend the see skull kill skull tactic.
  10. If you're slicing you'll miss metals needed for crafting however slicing is a very good source of cash income so as long as you keep the lockboxes coming in buying schematics/materials shouldnt be as much of a drain on resources. I've taken UW trade and am yet to see any schematics come my way.
