(I'd also add, and this is just me personally, I'm not a big fan of arenas, as they only exacerbate the imbalance between classes and devalue playing objectives. And while on this server at times you can get away with a sub-optimal comp, if you wanted to actually be competitive (which ranked is), your options are very limited in arenas, moreso than in regular warzones.) I think this is how a lot of people feel about ranked, but I could be wrong. I also don't think there are that many pvp guild left on the server, or at least there aren't many left on the pub side. I think the best shot at getting ranked going would be to set up some times during the evening for solo ranked. I have done a few of those in the past two weeks and have been a lot of fun.

Hi all, after a very long lay off from swtor, i am wanting to come back and play as a powertech again. I was wondering if builds like carolina parakeet are still being used in pvp, and if not what are folks running for spec's these day?

hello everyone, i am a returning player that has been gone for along time. Before i left i was playing my Vanguard in the CP spec and sometimes iron fist. What i was wondering is, are there spec,s out there like CP or Iron fist anymore. and if not what are some of the Vanguard spec,s that are being used as of now.

Just a question for you, when you re-enhance the set with the combat tech gloves, how much of the set did you do? Also i am not in BM gear as of yet, but do have a lot of champ SC gear, can i re-enhance that gear with centur gear, or should i leave my champ gear be? I like the idea of having a higher crit rating and the 5% bonus damage to players. Thanks for some good info Umpire.

That is what i have done with the CP, put the 2 points into stockstrike, which i really like. I agree with you 100% dont mess with the spec much, becasue it really is a great build as is. Oh and i like the name Caronlina Parakeet .

Great thread you guys have going here, some really good info. First i want to ask which cell are you guys running with the Carolina Parakeet build, as i am a 50 Vanguard and a 20 BH. Second is there much of a dps difference between the iron fist (which i am running now and just love) and the Carolina Parakeet,or is it just more of a range deal.
