  1. I got my polygamy on starting with Jaesa and ignoring Vette. Married Jaesa, then worked on Vette. She did acknowledge that I had a thing with Jaesa but I lied and said I wanted her. Mission Accomplished!

Except that probably removes your marriage/relationship marker with Jaesa. So while you've did everything with Jaesa for now if any new companion content is added she will probably act like there is no relationship. You just can't tell now because at 10000/10000 affection the game doesn't check these things anymore.

  2. When creating a character on a server it would be nice to be given a chance to check what Legacy names are taken on that server assuming you do not already have a Legacy there. An unspecified amount of people make their character name with a Legacy name already in mind, or would if they knew they could use a certain Legacy name.

A step further would be allowing people to reserve a Legacy name for X days after creating their first character on a server. Then once that times run out and they still have not reached that point the name is open for all. Preferably they still can pick any name once they do get the Legacy even if they make it in time.

  3. Yeah, it kinda sucks. I think they are normalizing it but have no idea if that was a Dev post or just second hand info.

Best you can do now if buy duplicates of Champ gear with Enhancements/Mods that you like to replace the pieces of BM gear you'll eventually get with mods you dislike. That or gear up companions.

  4. Just curious as to what you guys are using your companions for at level 50? The only thing I can think of is finishing the class story line. Are you doing side quests still to get money or something?

There are Daily Quests (repeatable once a day) on Ilum and Belsavis.

I don't know who does more damage, but for me it's currently Nadia because of hand-me-downs. Even if I geared Zenith/Iresso I'd still use Nadia since she's melee. I dislike having my companion fight at the same range as my character. Much easier to send Nadia in first and just Force Quake everything.

  5. if you completely ignore one while romancing each other, you can marry both.

The game detects conflicts in the affection tracks, and the girls only make you pick if you try to do both at once.

If you romance one up to marriage and max her out, her storyline is concluded, and the game won't detect a conflict. You can affection grind the other and marry her too.

This may require doing Vette first. I was building up both their romances at once while deciding, and I've left Vette alone for like 2000 affection because her current quest is the romance conflict between herself and Jaesa. Meanwhile I'm still building and advancing with Jaesa who already acknowledged my character's romance with Vette and is fine with it. The conflict seems to only trigger with Vette.

I've already hit the romance collision check, but I don't see why the game would care that Jaesa is already married to check for the conflict with Vette while romancing her.

  6. I'm relatively sure you can make Jaesa LS or DS regardless of your alignment if you made the correct dialogue choices, but that is neither here nor there. I'm aware her alignment change only happens on the spot during the quest as well, and that LS Jaesa and DS Jaesa have different quests.

What I'm asking is if anyone has made Jaesa DS, then for whatever reason was a LS Warrior, then did DS Jaesa's companion quests, and does it acknowledge your LSness?

  7. Legacy does nothing yet. Something will be implemented in the 1.2 Update (Late March). We do not know what.

You can set your Legacy to display like a last name, be placed under the name "The ___ Legacy", or not appear at all in your Preferences under Social.

  8. I either do Healer or a RPDS, never on a melee dps. Cause then they are in range for me to take 50% of their damage and that will suck if they get hit or stand in the bad.

50% damage is PvP only. In PvE Guard is basically just a threat reducer.

Like the people above me I guard the Healer till I see which DPS is can pull the aggro from me.

  9. Well...

When you are a light side the story is a bit different. She is looking for the light sided sith to join you in reshaping the Empire. Instead they light Sith are afraid that they were found out and tried to kill Jasea, which inturn she had to kill them. Also, light side Jasea CANNOT be romanced because she still believes in most of the Jedi code.

I think you misunderstood my question. I'm asking what happens if you are Light Side but you turned Jaesa to the Dark Side. It sounds like your talking about Light Side Jaesa.

  10. My Sith Warrior is Dark Side. I turned Jaesa Dark Side and have gone through all, or at least most, of her companion "I'm going to go do something. *black screen* I did something" quests. I also have her romanced. Quest details and question below.

So she goes to kill Light Side Sith and meets another Sith who does the same. She meets this Sith who turns out to be killing any other Sith he wants and tell Jaesa they should kill you next. She kills him and says she couldn't kill you because your important/special to her (Turned her to Dark Side and/or romance).

How does this play out if you are Light Side, with and without Romance? Obviously she doesn't kill you and obviously she doesn't leave because you can't die and companions don't leave. I'm curious if the game recognizes your alignment with this quest or just assumes you are also DS with her. But not curious enough to start a second Sith Warrior.

  11. are you people slow? They have more than one healing spell

For Sage/Sorcs, interrupt the strong heal and CC the channeled heal. After that they have a weak heal and a weaker HoT for 15 seconds. Those two hardly matter.

  12. Omg all of you just going off about wz's. This thread is about WORLD PVP .

If it's about world PvP then it's not actually 1v1 but 2v2. Kill the Healer's companion while throwing your interrupts/CC at him whenever you can. Then it's 2v1 and he won't be able to keep up.

  13. I can't be too specific because I've only done healer in raids so I don't need to know anything. But if you are doing everything "right" but still hitting enrage then you may need to take some extra damage to deal out extra damage. If your healers can keep people alive in pounces then go for it.

As some one else mentioned being heavy with melee DPS is also an issue. Melee have to lay off DPS at times and it takes longer for them to deal with the add ons.

  14. There is no order to EV or KP. However EV is easier so it's the first Ops people tend to run and the most common.

HP is usually the easiest way to tell how much gear a person has. For decent gear Tanks should have at least 17k and DPS/Heals 13k. After that you can inspect them for a complete detailed look.

On Gharj, you may be wasting potential DPS time between platforms, when the add ons spawn, and too many people may be getting knocked back. But all DPS being in greens is probably your biggest issue.

  15. I only group for Heroics and Flash Points because I assume everyone wants to do these repeatables for the gear and quest rewards. I know that's the only reason I do them. Running as a tank or healer I am well aware of the "don't stop" attitude and prefer it myself. As a tank I won't engage if I know my group isn't ready to deal with the fight, but if we're clearing trash I jump in and make them move. I do stop if I see the healer using their OoC heal since I know sometimes you get drained. On a healer if I need to get more Force/Ammo I position myself at the front of the fight so I can use my OoC heal once it is done and refresh as people pass me to save time.

A lot of it is that I assume everyone else wants to rush and I don't want to be a burden to others. I don't know the dialogue of a lot of Flash Points because I've never read it. I would not be opposed to running a Flash Point without using spacebar once, but I can see why you wouldn't. Everything from the Dropship Hanger is shared between factions thus pointless to the overall story. Usually the only dialogue is getting and turning in the quest with one moment of dialogue for a LS/DS choice in the middle. After that it's all Hard Mode and you run those to get gear. I have not encountered a person who didn't want to spacebar in a spacebar group nor have I seen a person trying to gathered resources at every fallen enemy. If I did, in a Flash Point, I'd ask them to stop. If they didn't I'd probably leave the group. Especially the resource gathering. That's just so minor and pointless.

When soloing I often space bar through the dialogue. I turn on subtitles so I don't have to wait for the NPC to say everything. I like the story and dialogue, but I like getting it faster. I run through most conversations several times; to maximize affection gains and to see all the outcomes of the conversation that interest me. This is why I wouldn't group with people while doing class/world quests. I hit Esc a lot.

  16. Is there a list of the PvE dailies around someplace? I've only found a couple each on Belsavis and Ilum.

Only those two planets. Ilum has 6 (1 Heroic 2) and Belsavis has 11 (2 Heroic 4, 1 Heroic 2). You can also do the last space mission quest (Impossible Sector for Republic) to get 2 Daily Coms.

    In terms of PvE

    Rakata > Columi > Battlemaster/Champion > Tionese/Energized/Xenotech > Centurion

Crafted purples can fit in everywhere, though it's often debated if they can be better than Columi gear.

The main thing is that it's relatively easy to Cent/Champ gear and can be done entirely solo (queue).

  17. I say the opposite of the poster above me.

Once you hit 50 start doing your PvP dailies right away. Getting Champ and Cent gear is the potentially easiest and fastest way to get good level 50 gear. Sure you'll have thousands less HP than some other players. Just focus more on the objectives and don't try fighting people head on.

Also spend all your money at the GTN and buy level 49/50 crafted purples. You'll be making plenty if you run dailies so don't be to worried about credits.

  18. Your class resource (Force, rage, ammo, etc) does not increase per level, and for most classes never. Sith Sorcs have a talent in their middle skill tree that increases their force pool by 50 per point, 100 total. It's at the bottom so you can get it right away.
  19. Each planet has a world quest line that you can't abandon. I don't know if that's your issue or not but if you have one per planet it's possible.

I would just bite the bullet. You can just ride your speeder past all the enemies and go to the quests. Nothing will aggro unless you run directly over it (and then you can just ignore it) and what you do have to kill won't be a problem.
