So, I am sure many of you have noticed that the General Discussion forums are simply a place for people to complain about the games supposed shortcomings (instead of just leaving). It is really quite annoying. Strangely, I somehow think that I am going to come to the forums to find useful information, or helpful discussion of relevant topics... Here's the thing. All these people ************ and complaining about the game annoy the heck out of me, but somehow I always find myself back at the general forums. It's almost like I have some sort of morbid curiosity.. Now, I will propose a solution to the problem that is the constant complaint threads in General chat. Ready? IGNORE THEM! I know, it's hard to do. Resist the urge to click and read, and definately resist the urge to respond to them. After all, by responding to them, you are validating their complaints. Hopefully, they will eventually just give up and go complain somewhere else, and General Discussion can become a place where we can discuss something besides complainers and their sense of entitlement. Maybe, just maybe, we can discuss things that are actually helpful or constructive. I doubt it.

Really? You bought CE and THIS is what you choose to complain about? I preordered the Digital Deluxe Edition, and received my shiny (shiny?) new black/yellow crystal and all the other junk that came with it. While at first I was kind of annoyed at the lack of scalability and crappy stats of the crystal, I quickly came to realize that it is merely a COSMETIC thing, not meant to be really useful long-term. That's true with all perks you get for preordering or buying collectors editions. They are purely cosmetic, with no real use other than something to look at. To demand an end-game crystal for free is just silly. If you don't like the 250k price tag, go buy a crystal from the temporary vendor for 125k. You can get either cyan or purple (depending on your faction), and it looks a heck of a lot nicer than black/yellow. PS. I would be more annoyed at the holorecorder or whatever it's called that takes screenshots. Nothing like having an extra item in your inventory that simply takes screenshots. Oh, and I actually DID pay extra to have this piece of junk. PPS. For that matter, the dancer has been in my cargo bay since I first boarded my ship back in December.. The only thing I really made any use of was the STAP.

This whole thread is a joke, right? I mean I must be missing sarcasm or something here.. Yeah, that's it. You are all being sarcastic. Ok. I will join in. Message Follows. Yeah, totally. They should make all mobs only attack you if you attack them. I mean really, this game is uber unrealistic that an imperial soldier would attack a Jedi, right? So let's make them all passive so that I can just run into their base and plant some bombs. If I want to fight them, I'll attack them myself! Umm.. And they should each give me some chocolate cake when I walk by them. As for the need for XP.. I think it would be much more exciting for a player if we went around looking for little cakes labled "Eat Me" so that we can just immediately grow big and strong without any effort. That would make the game so much more fun. I think we need to institute silver platters into the game, so that everything can be handed to us on them. Seriously, folks. This is what you sound like. Mobs are going to be Aggro, and they are going to respawn quickly enough that other players have something to fight off. This is the nature of gaming. You are never going to be able to just run past mobs without being attacked unless you happen to be a stealth class. If that's what you want, might I suggest rolling a stealther? Otherwise, as a previous poster said, Deal with it.

I know this will probably be controversial, but I think you are doing a great job! :D Couple things - Firstly, I've been noticing that there are a lot of posts about server populations and how they are dropping. Funny how people are spending more time in the forums complaining about how low the server populations are than actually playing the game.. Seems a bit counter-productive to me.. Second - Yes, there are some bugs. GET OVER IT! Nobody is impressed with posts in general chat about how you are unimpressed with the game and are cancelling your account. Don't be such a diva. Obvious Troll is Obvious - This comment is stupid and should be banned from existence; Don't even get me started on people replying to a comment with just this line.. That is all for now.

To be honest, he only REALLY gets annoying when I use him for crew skills. I'm sure once I get another companion I won't be using him anymore, but sometimes I just want to karate chop him right in the voice synthesizer...

A way to mute the ship droid. PLEASE make him silent!!! Or less annoying. On a serious note, I would like to submit for future consideration, a feature addition. I think it would be really cool if we could customize our ship droid's voice/attitude.

Crap happens on launch day. Go outside. On a side note, it's hilarious that every time someone has an opposing opinion from someone who complains, they are flagged as "fanboy"...
