you cannot even use /tell player name anymore you have to type out /whisper playername then add a colon .. longer word and adding a colon lol why make it longer to send tells why even add colon ... useless ectra chars to type verses /tell

what are you devs smoking to make it so convoluted as compared to just typing /tell - no colons - no long commands pretty damn stupid if you ask me to send someone a message now ... seriously /whisper ( player name ) Colon versus hitting r typing /tell ? why make it longer and why add the colon? just one more thing to type?? shesh it was fine as it was ... fix crap in game that needs fixing not things that don't ... that was wasted labor and dumb labor at that ,,, I rarely even post to forums but this one was so dumb I had to for those grammer Nazis --- I didn't proof this nor do I care and I know I wrote it in a way that will blow your mind and triggered your grammer Nazi butts but don't care lol

Depends on the sniper tree ... MM / sharpshooter .. yes it's a straightforward dps burst spec The other two not so much particularly engineering / sab whose speciality is node guard / defending and shutting down enemy healers ( and those abilities use up match time and will never be shown in final results at end of match but it's also a lot more actions per minute and have to think verses marksman /sharpshooter which is face roll easy To those that will say yeah but ... engineer / sab can have huge numbers at end of match but requires all enemies to sit bunched together for a lot of match to be aoe attacked and if an engineering/sab is doing this they should just play mm/SS if they want big numbers

It's not that engineering has to have player "get better" ....to get big big dps numbers engineering has to use aoe... and if the other team in regs has a good healer let alone 2 most of that damage is useless and just fluff numbers that looks "pretty" at end of match Engineering/ Sabs come into their own in defending / taking objectives and are the tackiest most long living of the sniper/gunslinger trees ... they are also the best at shutting down enemy healers which takes time and those abilities NEVER show up in the score ever So When you see one that did huge numbers ... meh doesn't mean **** ... just a bunch of grouped up enemies an engineering / sab aoe targeted a lot that the other teams healer more than likely healed through as if it was nothing ....so trying to be a DPS king on engineering / sab means more than likely your playing it wrong and we're not using more valuable abilities / comboes to either take defend nodes or shut healers down and take down low health enemies of opportunity Many will disagree with this but I do not care lol ... because well .. I'm correct heh

Dumb arguement You conflate time spent to get something to pay to win ... you'll either get to 300 twice as fast or you you'll play longer to get there ... you'll earn crates twice as fast or player longer to get them ... that's convenience NOT p2win If your salty you can't afford cartel coins or don't want to buy them ... well.. that's irrelevant Swtor runs on a shoestring budget compared to some other big mmos as it is ... Engineering is lower by a lot than others ... but .... engineering is so far above the other two in tankiness and shutting down healers it's not funny .. and staying in the fight longer ... dps charts mean jack **** in most pvp maps to a degree ... a well played sniper for instance in close onjective matches will be busy traveling to various points to helpthe team win thus losing out on lots of "dps" but exponentially helping the team to better win ... Any goofy 1v1 mindsetter can mindless spam dps with a good healer but if it's not helping take objectives then it's a waste of time I can't tell you how many times I've shut down enemy healers me been the made node capper or defender for clutch wins but receive no recognition in MVP votes because people just award whomever is close to top, a healer ( win or lose), or their buddy ... the little things like capping, shutting healers down, running back and forth to carry 1v1 mindset players will never show up in end of match medals, dps, etc ... I am always paying attention to who is actually helping with the objectives and who is just pew pew ... pew pew never gets my votes Tldr.... don't chase dps numbers as a engineering / sab spec ... use your skill set to win matches and you'll be in the middle of the pack... but you will know you were actually the glue that held the win together even though most are to blinded by the dps chase to even notice

IF it has Cockpit view and Joystick controls ... I WILL be returning to SWTOR to make this my fulltime mmo ... period and more than likely not even set foot on the ground again heh if it does not have cockpit view AND joystick controls then its is just MEH and i will prolly not play even though some will like it

well I just spent over an hour on the phone speaking with someone I could barely understand ... and it was totally useless hour of my life I will never get back ... the result was they will investigate it and "TRY" to get back to me in 48 hours... WOW how useless that something as simple as executing a pay pal transaction is so hard for Bioware and EA but the AWESOME news is ILL be "COMPENSATED" on the back end of my recurring 6 month subscription for a few days ectra which means no compensation LOL I am lucky my household ahs 4 accounts so I can at least communicate here on these boards they said it was a known issue and trying to resolve it with paypal ,... that means there are a HUGE number of subscribers unable to play or POST HERE and let you have it and I bet they would indeed let you have an earful if they could post right now I really ENJOY SWTOR but the NEGATIVES are piling on at an exponetial rate... and as soon as the negatives outweigh the positives my 4 subs in my household will be gone and what could have been an easy 4-5k over 4-6 years from my household will be gone never to be realized as profit ... I wonder how many more will quit in disgust when the negatives outweigh the positives of SWTOR I am almost to that point and wish i wasnt but if it really is going to be another 2 or 3 days before bioware figures out how to pay pal ... that will more than likely be the tipping point so I appreciate you trying to help with the phone number and all but thanks but no thanks it was ZERO help and a complete waste of an hour of my life listen to swtor music and the ceo apoligizing for the wait a hundred times really sad too i actually like the game and was hoping things would get better but it seems it just keeps becoming to much of a hassle to play SWTOR

I really do appreciate your kind consideration trying to help ... but as I stated my account is VERIFIED and PREMIER and I regularly make payments of thousands of dollars ... and I have comfirmed form pay pal that ... EA has never attempted to collect these funds or ask paypal for payment ... I do appreciate your help but what your describing is not my issue regards and thanks for trying to help

WoW just WOW ... /double facepalm that doesnt work very well which i refered too in my post which you obviously didnt bother to read I can see why EA stock is nose diving lately ... its a real wonder the P/E ratio is not already down to 2 or 3 times earnings ... what a complete failure of a company across so many aspects /sigh

I am verified - premier - with no account limits and have been for years there is no record of paypal being asked for payment from SWTOR or EA and I cannot even enter any payment at all without an error on subscription page of any sort now

I am posting from my wifes account because i cannot post on my own because it shows my account as unsubscribed ? I subbed for a 6 month subscription on DAY 1 as soon as I could 1.) I used paypal 2.) I get email today saying payment did not go through 3.) my paypal account is in working order 4.) the checking account it is hooked to has thousands of dollars in it 5.) paypal has no record of SWTOR / bioware / EA ever trying to ask for or collect payment 6.) its impoosible to speak to anyone at CS becuase you keep getting tossed around from place to place like a mexican jumping bean with nothing resolved HOW INEPT CAN ONE COMPANY BE OVER AND OVER AND OVER again?? I tried re-entering payment info and gte an error every time will be going on 24 hours soon since i have been able to play I GROW VERY TIRED OF ALL ASPECTS OF BIOWARE / EA INEPTNESS across the BOARD from .... PVP / to ability delays / to mirrored classes not being mirrors / to animations / to devs completely favoring empire / to being insta killed and farmed by IMPS on patch 1.1 day .... and now i cannot even log in because .... bioware is to frigging inept and stupid and ( insert useless adjetive here ) to know how to run a game / company / billing ... customer service is unreal poor If i am not able to process payment soon and get back to playing ... my wifes account ... my account / and our two teenagers accounts will be cancelled and you can take the remaining time on the other three accounts and stick it somewhere what a complete and utter joke of a company you are If i ran my business this way I would have no customers ...
