  1. healing took a nerf @ 1.2... looks like we took a slight number nerf again today... full war hero, usually have no issue getting 5k with no force potency and no relics/adrenals up... today i was super healing for 4800... think is i took a 10k sweep from a jugg today... my 2.5 second cast heal for 4800 @ pwned in the face by an instant pop 10k crit sweep. not complaining, but you shouldn't be either. 10k sweep by OldGraf of Old Republic War, he's hella geared but still.
  2. i love this. 50 sage/seer... i still get 4 hit in full war-hero augmented gear by "TANK" assassins... got kicked down and backstabbed 3 times for 4-6k each time... why are u crying??
  3. i asked them to give me the WH force-mystics boots because i had to buy the WH stalkers boots due to the fact i had the BM stalkers boots before 1.2... they told me NO. i've never asked for an exchange or refund before... so i am not sure if this is real

I was wondering how other PVP'ers feel about the lack of encouragement to open world PVP and the lack of content COMPARED TO PVE CONTENT in the game... not sure why they sent my here... bioware's responses to anything about TOR is becoming more and more of a joke lately
  5. the only reason i complain about solo q's is i personally would like to do both... imho there are two totally different skill sets going on with an 8 man premade vs 8 pug players... 8 man is chemistry, familiarity, strategy, etc. the pug groups is how well can we communicate with strangers while staying on objective... feel me? solo q's you can't set your team i.e. 2 assassins 2 pyrotechs 2 sith warriors 2 healers... or whatever you so choose... solo q you just get whatever you get.
  6. if gear didn't matter and it was all skill then we'd be in a much better place... but that isn't the case, sadly. the gear grind + the long wait for xfers = much more imp players with full WH sets and higher valor ratings... wouldnt mean anything if there wasn't a gear grind...
  7. troll post? really? nope... the way to "get things done" is to QQ on the forums, i'm just trying to get more attention for PVP'ers... i guess a broken attempt at ilum that they pretty much gave up on is alright for everyone else but in a game where the Daniel Erickson guy or whoever the lead designer is claims is the 'FOREVER MMO' is it wrong to expect more stuff to do with PVP? should PVP really be warzones then zerg open world with 100 imps vs 20 republics? i mean if that's fun to you then so be it but shouldnt the 'end all for MMORPG's' take aspects of other MMO's that actually worked and put it in their game? see warhammer.

  9. trolls are out in the morning i see. clearly making a case for PVP as a whole not just for my guild. I play 4man pre's regularly and have rotating teams 'ready to play' for 8man ranked/rated all that jazz... if you'd stop being a troll for 2 seconds you'd understand what i'm saying...... we don't get the gear options the pve'rs get, we don't get the amount of content, etc. they cater to PVE and give PVP the 'step-son' attention... i <3 trolls

Ranked/rated warzones were supposed to be the PVP game saver in 1.2... you lied to us then... ranked/rated wz's are supposed to save 1.3... but we're only getting group ranked/rated wz's... no solo q? and open world pvp is still 100% meaningless and pointless in this game. PVE has a billion ways to get better gear and things they can do, they have exclusive item drops, exclusive gear, etc. PVP players have... well the same 4 warzones and 3 sets of gear? war hero being the hardest and longest gear grind in the game? nice......... thanks bioware for making my entire PVP guild unsub. thanks for making over 100 people I know quit the game due to lack of encouragement to PVP. please fix this, i LOVE playing this game but you're running off all of my buddies and the whole point of 1.3 is to be able to play with your friends, right?

  12. and i agree w larry about the madness tree... IMO the best way to play that tree, being as you have so many dots and the root ability, is to kite around throwing dots on everyone and harass healers if you can plant... you'd be surprised how high your DPS gets if you dot everyone up to start the fight, then dot/project between the force in balance cooldowns... bubble up, kite, force in balance, project, dot, dot, dot, project, bubble, project, dot, force in balance, dot dot, etc... any way you can do it keep your bubble up and FiB on cd and your dmg should be high, your heals will be nice b/c your bubble, and you will be alive a dcent while...
  13. as a sage healer i think i have the right to an input here, many may not agree but whatever... i have played the balance (madness) tree as a 50 and the seer (corruption) tree as a 50... valor is 81, i play a nice bit of PVP... my argument with the class is the long cast times and no buff to lower the cast times... with 1.2 they fixed the double pop with conveyance but they should have made it as it was originally intended... let the buff give you one quick cast of deliverance. 2 quick pops was O.P. for heals, i have no beef with that, but give us a quick cast deliv. or give us an isntant cast AOE with the conveyance buff. Operative/scoundrel healers (i have one of each toon) are the SEX of heals in this game. NO healing cooldowns, plenty of rotation options to keep your energy/mana/force/ammo wtfever you want to call it at a level of high regeneration, and you have the ability to stealth out of death... and the instant cast hots that double stack... just crazy easy to do high amount of heals without having to plant. Commandos/Mercs have heavy armor which is huge in 50 bracket, they have lower cast times than the sage/sorc, and they get the ability to make a buff pop for 10 seconds of basically GCD timing heals that are not low number heals... add all of that to the ability that makes them unable to be interrupted and you can see where they shouldn't ever die without giving the dps a headache first. The ONLY thing that people can say about sage/sorc healers is the bubble is nice for the class. but while it is instant cast, it has a 20 second cooldown PER CHARACTER not per cast. so basically the bubble is a 2,500 HP instant cast heal that can't be used again for 20 seconds. Sages have the longest cast times, the longest cooldowns on heals across the board, the weakest armor of healing classes, the least burst damage capabilities of heal specs, and the ONLY justification you can give me for all of these is "They have a bubble and they can kite" ... i just want the 1.5 second cast time on deliverance again with the conveyance buff... i think that will help sage/sorc healers make up for the imbalance in heals due to the fact we don't get a buff ability that improves our heal % (scoundrels/ops) and we don't get a buff that gives us X amount of time to cast big heals at the time of the GCD (mercs/mandos) that's my only beef, longest cast times and longest cooldowns with the worst armor of all choices of healing classes...
  14. Top: tank spec assassins are crazy... and have tons of cc... and stealth... just tons of utility. DPS Powertechs/Tank powertechs ops healers... hots are dope, have the fastest cast times for the big heal, get the 2 stack buff for heals by doing heals, and are the most mobile healers (plus stealth!) Maras can do 6k/5k sweeps easily but heals have to super crit to get that high w same gear Juggs too much cc mid: dps assassins/dps sorcs can do good numbers but are easy to kill without guard mercs on both ends dps ops... where the healer spec has tons of mobility, the dmg spec requires cover for most big hits =\ snipers... everyone knows what you're going to do. healer sorcs have the longest casts, and the worst mobility/armor combo as healer... only perk is the nice AOE heal. the 1.2 nerf was necessary for the double pop on the big heal, but it seems like the expertise has hurting healing as a whole. bottom: no class is absolutely horrible. buff all heals to go *** for tat with damage. if you can have a huge impact on a game as a dps with no reliance on other players for guard, aggro pulls, or heals... then logically healers shouldn't have to have help from other players for guard, aggro pulls, or supp heals. i play a tank spec assassin and a sage seer as my mains.... my tank spec assassin is OP. i'm super tanky with good damage. my sage is fun to play but they have no utility... you HAVE to be planted to have decent heals. if you're stunned you're dead. kite + hots = you're not helping your team. kite + plant heal + kite + plant heal = you don't keep people alive. i feel like i can keep someone alive longer and help them more quickly on my assassin by guarding them (instant compared to casted heals) and killing their attacker(s) compared to healing them and letting them fight. that's all my QQ'ing. I think if you make tanks and tank specs less dps heavy and more protection based that will help the balance with the heals. tank spec juggs shouldn't be able to 3 hit a true dps toon that has supp heals. feel me? a tank should be a tank, not a war machine.
  15. title says it all. oh and give us a better open world experience, bring back ilum, do something. So far you've been all about PVE... give us something. Since you won't merge servers because you "dont want to admit defeat" or whatever your ego problem is, give us cross server q's. or EA can bail again, let's face it they're good at that. you could pay out more for warzones too, ****** us on payments for warzones is encouraging us to QUIT or to PVE... PVE'ing is worse than unsubbing.
