i agree its not immersive at all, ship is a big reason its not immersive, it dosent even feel like i have a ship tbh, all it feels like is that i have a dummy ship on every planet and space station. For example: if i want to enter it just to speak with a companion it still has to fly up into orbit.i go into the ship, its takes off into freaking orbit, i do the conversation, i go back out, and it has to land on the planet again. I dont get to control anything. Why does it have to take off if i enter it?? Someone asked "if i use emergency fleet pass, what happens to my ship???" man, i wish i could tell him it stayed on the planet, i just told him he had no ship, he just had access to the ship instance. Also: its funny how it takes equally long, that is to say, instant, to travel to each planet, tatooine is supposed to be far out, and nar shadda is huttas moon, why do i have to jump into lightspeed to go from narshadda to hutta? it makes no sense.

the only difference of a PvP server is that you can be ganked on planets where you quest, and you gank back. You choose the server, you choose to live and let gank, its all on you buddy.

i agree with OP, and i feel exactly the same way. i'm currently leveling alts, the game is fun from 1-50. i can do that 6 more times now and i get to see every story! hurray!
