xs light freighter by far, best looking and generally bad ***, and the way it is implemented into the story makes it more than just a ship

matter of fact the code against love and relationships would be phased out when Luke reformed the Jedi order

if they incorporated ship customizations into achievement in the future that would definitely give people a big reason to go for them. Bioware has also stated that the ship element of the game is a placeholder for something "much bigger" in the future. My guess is that in a future expansion they will bring back the classic space fighter experience from galaxies (which was added in jump to lightspeed). This would also allow them to use ships as the star wars equivalent of flying mounts, as conventional flying mounts would completely break the game, as well as adding an entire new depth to the game.

sorry, to clarify i meant the upgrade for the inside of your ship you mentioned (hot tubs etc.), not ship upgrades.

awesome dude, is the phantom the only ship that you can unlock things for? cause ive played to 30 on my sentinel and i havnt unlocked anything.

Overall the Defender and the Phantom could look a lot better in my opinion. The Defender is a cool looking ship for sure but things aren't where they should be (why would i put my bed next to my cockpit and not put my cargo storage in my cargo bay). Along with this it seems like Bioware has to make the defender shorter, and the front of the ship seems very flush but the back is blocky and i can't help but think how much cooler the ship would look if it was stretched out and rounded out. In terms of the phantom i think that the blocky cockpit hanging out of the bottom of the ship again messes up the lines of the ship.

Just putting a thread out there to see what people think of their starships and what they like, dislike, or would change. In my personal opinion i think that the smugglers ship (XS Stock Light Frieghter) has the most personality because your character has a history with the ship and it is overall a bad *** ship. What do you guys think of your own starships?

There are way bigger things that Bioware is concerned about, and look at it this way people, because of how good swtor is doing i wouldnt be surprised if we saw an expansion by next year or late this year. And if not Bioware will handle the little things when they get the game running smooth. AND one of the quests on corusant has you destroy esentially plastic surgery droids, so it would make sense that you could do more than cut your hair. So be patient people, the little things are coming.

i totally agree dude, and what people still dont recognize because they dont look into it before they post on forums like this is that the graphics patch is coming, just take a look over at the dev tracker thread people.

you are right but i was replying to a earlier thread which implied that wow was better because it had 10 mil and swtor only had 1 mil, it is a fact that swtor is doing better in terms of subs than wow did in the same amount of time

he is completely right and you are comparing a game that has 1/10 of wows sub base in barely a month, versus the 8 years it took wow to get 10 mil. Basic math dude.

we still can't ignore the fact that the game has only been out for barely a month and bw is focusing its efforts to get the game running smooth, i agree that trusting in a dev is important but bw has had barely any time to show that it is following up on promises, so i definitely think there is no reason why we should worry this early, its part of playing an mmo when it first releases

your bashing him instead of talking about the actual discussion that he clarified that he is trying to have, though i dont agree with his earlier posts on opinions on wow vs swtor, i do agree that the graphics in swtor need some improvement. though something is already being done about this so he has his answer.

I feel the same way, but there is something being done about it, again quoting the dev tracker forum, and it is only a matter of some patience till they get the game and player base running smooth.

If you feel that you wasted your money on tor, I am sorry that you feel that way and that your are missing out on an amazing game, but that still doesn't change the fact that you aren't being forced to play it. If you aren't enjoying swtor and your so determined to try and say that wow is better, which is being backed up by opinion rather than fact, then go play wow. As simple as that.

And theres not getting away from the fact that you aren't being forced to play swtor, instead of wow, if you dont like the graphics, go play wow and shut up about it.

One thing that no one seems to take into account is your comparing a game that has been out for, and has been constantly worked on, almost 8 years, versus TOR which has only been out for a couple weeks. TOR is already doing much better than WOW did in the same amount of time, AND if you would look over at the developer tracker, Bioware has announced that higher res graphics fixes are on the way, they just want to get the game off the ground first. Lets be smart people and not turn these forums into flame wars.
