    Well, It might be possible with group use. With a toggle of course.

     

    If it is something that a group is allowed to use and only group members see the bubbles from folks inside the group it might be one way to avoid the lag issue, and add some utility.

     

    Chat bubbles could be very useful inside a group IMO.

     

    How would it be usefull in group settings?

    Oh yeah I forgot Bioware are incompetent developers who cant optimize a feature that has been in mmos for over 10 years. (And they have had over a year to fix this and yet they do nothing along with a bunch of other problems with this game.) And chat bubbles are extremely useful a lot of the time people are trying to say something to me and I have no idea and then I see a few mins later and say damnit why aren't there chat bubbles almost 2 years in to friggin release.)

     

    And about the LFG tool concern all the concerns can be washed away by just not allowing cross-server LFG and that's what SWTOR did which is why it worked.

     

    You need a bubble to know that someone is talking to you? I'm not against bubbles but I really don't understand why someone needs these so badly as to know when they are being spoken too. Seems a lot more like people need to use their filters correctly.

     

    1 chat tab with every option enabled is pure idiocy. Take 30 seconds to create tabs and you can instantly filter what you want to see.

    It's the Bounty Contract Event. You think you're the only Hunter with eyes on that mark? They should have made these in a neutral PVP zone, faction vs faction free-for-all, no grouping. I'd be takin' out all you mothers and gettin' my prize.

     

    I'd rate this up if I could. But I can't so ill quote it for the sake of seeing its truth again.

    I loved the TaunTaun hunting(read as PvP stalking) teams durin the first week. Wasn't quite able to get the Master of Hoth Acheivment but was close. Needs moar open world events!

    Go play FFXI where a maintenance or update goes from 6 hours scheduled to 24 hours+ and you never got so much as a "sorry for the inconvenience"

     

    Also to those complaining about spawn times on the event you should probably spend less time posting and more time reading. The maintenance this morning was to increase spawn times of Shady characters to benefit everyone.

     

    I have my gripes about some things here like everyone else but it's pretty clear that BW is in a Damned if you do Damned if you don't position for everything

    If you're sitting at the same camp waiting you're doing it wrong and should not be complaining it takes to long. We had had as many as 5 instances of Hoth yesterday on Pot5 and that was early in prime time. Even during the day we had at least 3. Was able to farm both Tauntauns in a few hours.

    This stinks, the new scale up for the level 55 Gree event suxs I can't even get into ops now on the event, so I got to grind longer than the couple of weeks due to my work schedule to get the appropriate gear and have I have the legend status for awhile and 66 moded gear and now I got to miss out on the saber that am trying to hard to get is crushed :mad: am so mad right now this is such a piss off that what I need to get I can't get due to the scale up and I can't even do the heroic 4 mission cause I need 24 helix components.

     

    You can't do the heroic because you need 24 Helixs?

    What. The. Hell. Are. You. Talking. About?

    And in less than five minutes or so someone will come in making a post about how Bioware doesn't care, never shows appreciation, doesn't care, thinks Eric is being disrespectful, doesn't care, they'll threaten to quit, doesn't care, and oh yeah that Bioware doesn't care.

     

    That said, looking forward to seeing what is going to be done.

     

    I won't bet against. ;(

    Not sure why people are still arguing over this. For the first few months everyone was 100% okie dokey. The. An Update was rolled out and a good portion of the member see began having issues.

     

    Yes, the issue is/was with some of our PCs HOWEVER... It was discovered when BW changed something behind the scenes thus making the crash occur. People that continue to tell the player base to fix it themselves is not using their Grey matter very well.
