How are they going to "pinppoint" ? A large % of level 50s on every single server participated in this. What they will do at best is find a small % who got massive gains and reduce thier gain. 99% of the players that benefited will not loose anything. Cross faction Wzs will be hit especially hard because the margins are hugely important to create a reasonably equal competition where skill and gear combine with equal numbers to make a "match"

You made the choice to not get geared for pvp in line with these other players. I can assure you they died many many times to other players with hi9gher level skills/ better gear etc etc al lthe way up to 50 and their better gear. Whatever level you are and whatever gear you have, you can always do some kind of a useful job for your WZ team.

No it isn't. Plenty of mmorpgs have rolled back the majority because of a major exploit/design flaw because it is in those majority players interest too.

I am not sure people are blowing things out of proportion. We have a global games developer that can and has used its resources to assemble a team of experienced people for this game. How could something like this be allowed to happen and how could they not understand just how community back passage filling this developer response is ? I played Warhammer and this is beginning to feel like deja vu because of the style and nature of all the bullpap being spouted by the company's representatives.

It is the un fairness of it not the tragedy that matters the most.

I think if we take customer opinions into account and not just how many times servers went down or someone decided an area was too crowded etc., this launch isn't smooth. Someone forgot to include the happiness of customers in their calculations and thats what matters. Other games may have had more game instability but customers by and large thought the process as designed and implemented by the developer was fair. That isn't going to be the case here.

This is it. Regardless of the fact that bioware have told us in outline how this EGA was going to work, with a "traditional" launch individual players couldn't guarantee they had days of game play ahead of other players. It is the lack of a level playing field that a lot of people get annoyed about. (yes I know)
