How about fixing the problem where the achievement no longer even lists Depths of Manaan, and instead lists "Missing Details Data"

For all you asking for patch notes, try looking at the previous pages in this thread. Because people posted them, but since I know you're too lazy to bother with that, or even think about doing it. OK, at this point the Launcher isn't even loading username and password information in order to even access the patch download. It just continues spinning that circle on the right side of the launcher over Kaliyo's face.

Supposedly there was a "unfinished alliance mission" that was put up live and that would break a character. So they took the servers down again to deal with it, and supposedly found a 2nd issue after that to fix. But that was something like 3 hours ago so.......

Keep trying man. My buddy had the same problem, have been on teamspeak with him and he finally got it done.

I never said remove it, I just would like to see it changed, Maybe do 10 battles instead of the 20 that it requires.

We all understand that. The problem is that other characters that people have (Jedi, Smuglgers, Sith, Agents) DO have to do the quests to acquire the Alliance companions through pvp battles. Or did you not notice that because companions most certainly aren't Legacy Wide binds.

I'd love to get all the companions just to get it out of the way. Sadly the developers are currently setting it up where you HAVE to pvp to do that. So that being said.....

I'm not saying PVP is evil. I'm just saying that it's not what I (and other people) play this game for.

I seriously hope they change the requirements for this. It doesn't seem you can get passed this quest in order to get to Dr. Loken or whoever is next without completion of the Warzone quests. But I have no desire to run warzones in this game. I've done it in other MMO's but that's not why I play SWtor. Attempted 3 warzones at different times of the day for this ridiculous quest and all were horrible losses for the Pub side. At this point I'd rather not get the companions then keep going through that crap.

Actually, if you've watched any of the videos or other information they've said about the upcoming content release in Oct. Bioware employees themselves have been saying "We're getting back to original Bioware story telling (roots)." Same, I had stopped playing before they released HK. But after being back for about a month and a half or so I'm remembering why I quit in the first place. I had been hoping that they had gotten better. Evidently I'm being let down.

Because they "fix" stupid things, and then leave all the other bugs alone. Like was posted earlier, a lot of bugs are left from Beta and never got fixed. On top of that a lot of content that they have released put more bugs in the game that, hey! weren't / aren't fixed.

I'm just saying. The game is all about options.

After playing through both male and female characters I noticed in the game that the romance story can only be engaged for heterosexual coupling, but in other games bioware has produced recently the option for homosexual couples is an option, and even in the original Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic if you steered the companion conversations in the right direction it hinted at a same sex relationship. I just wanted to know what the rest of the community thought? I submitted a question to the company and only received a "we regret we will be able to provide you with further information" which in my opinion means they just didn't think about it when creating ToR.
