Those of you who are against macros, I have to wonder at your level of experience with MMOs in general, or whether you've only played one, maybe 2 MMOs where they were poorly implemented.

 

And in WoW, they were poorly implemented.

 

I would MUCH rather have a macro that enables me to Target a mob with @mouseover vs changing my primary Target, issueing a taunt to that mob, and notifies the group "taunting %T" vs the 3 step thing they have now.

 

As a guardian I most definately do not enjoy having 25+ buttons to track and play whack-a-mole with, while trying to follow combat.

 

I see the lack of a macro system as a MAJOR oversight that coupled with a horrid UI and no Target of Target ,greatly diminishes my enjoyment of the game itself. It's probably my greatest annoyance with the game overall.

 

 

SWG was a great example of Macros implemented where it was abused. You could write a macro and put your guy in the middle of a spawn point and set him to kill anything as they spawned then go out to dinner, movie or whatever and come back to find he has enough experience to master the profession and also collected a ton of credits and loot.

 

Macros are not needed in games period. If you're not skilled enough to play a game without macros then maybe you shouldn't play it.

Quoted for the truth.. I take my 50 trooper into pvp and this is the scenario.. Chain stunned over and over and dps'd to death in under 3 seconds.. Resolve does not and never has worked correctly. All CC's need a diminishing return.

What you call unreasonably low, BW has a different opinion of. The biggest Op you can get into is 16 players. You get 8 characters per account. If everyone made all alts on the same side and stuffed them into the same guild, you still get 62 players into the guild - enough to run 3 concurrent ops.

 

 

 

Well unless each person can play each of the alts at the same time that is quite impossible.

I think what the OP is looking for is a system that pits premades against premades and pugs against pugs which would be fair IMHO.

I don't care about same gender relationships at all. However, everyone should be upset over the way they are handling it. It's by far the most asked question, every week, and they ignore it every week. It's the developers being arrogant and not listening to the community on their major concerns and only picking what they care more about, which is infuriating to me. All they have to do is say something like "We aren't doing it at this time"/"early development don't expect it soon"/"actively being worked on, hope to have it done sometime this year", anything.

 

 

maybe just maybe LA/George Lucas does not want Same sex relationships in their licensed property. Personally I don't think it should be added and I hope LA/George Lucas doesn't permit it.

Evidentally you did not read the thread before responding as a few posts above yours stated they had seen an Obi Two.

 

Worst name I saw was Tentaclerape. There is no need for that kind of crap on a game period. It amazes how immature some gamers are. I know a lot of them are kids but it just shameful how stupid some players are.

you're joking right? In beta some objectives didn't appear on the map. people were literally running around balmorra for hours looking for a generator at the entrance to the arms factory that was not marked as the objective.

 

Sadly he is not joking and what is making it worse is he cannot distinguish a map hack from a quest helper.

I am by no means an expert at this stuff but from looking at that you should be fine. I run the game on an I3 @2.93Ghz, 4 gigs of ram and a GT220 1 gig card and I average 40 to 60 fps even in Flashpoints and high population areas.
