  1. TL;DR In-game Name: Caiseal Class: Scoundrel/Sawbones [Healer] Gear: Full Set of 69's, with a two-piece Arkanian Field Medic Bonus [Not Augmented] Availability: Any day but Wednesday and Saturday after 7:00 PM EST Mic: Yes. Vent/Mumble/Skype/Whatever: Yes. RP: Eh? I enjoy it, don't like it when it's required and force-fed to me. IRL: 18+ Working Professional w/ Subscription [so no weird lockouts or roll limits]. What I am looking for: No-fuss progression raiding. I want to be able to show up, do some raiding, maybe run some dungeons, get some loot, and have a good time. I do as I'm told, abhor wiping, and I really want to do the new Dread Master's content. I'm not looking for drama, or m@d l33t min-maxing hyper competitiveness. I like to kill bosses and keep my guildmates alive, not stroke my ego. I've done progression raiding in the past, and I'm familiar with both HM TFB/SV if guilds are still working on up to the new stuff. My old guild fell apart a few months back when I took a week off for vacation, and I lost interest without 'em. But now I'm back! Uh, feel free to message me in-game? Am open to running dungeons with any group that may be interested if you want to put me through my paces.

  3. Play the class you want to play for reasons outside what the current combat logs say. It's very rare that there is a numerical patch [i.e. non-emergency maintenance] that some class somewhere isn't haven't some ability or skill tweaked for performance reasons. One of my most favorite developer quote is from the combat lead designer Georg Zoeller: For leveling reasons I've never had an issue with my Merc, especially since your first companion is the healer so even if it takes you longer to kill something you can live through it. I love the Voice Actor and most of the companions, and yeah, I like dual wielding pistols too. I'm just putting some blind faith in the dev team that if my class is underperforming as much as people say they are, that soon™ it'll be fixed. If you're looking for what's currently the highest DPS output, re-roll a Marauder.
  4. I was looking at specifically "Damage Dealt Broken Down by Action" under "Damage Dealt", which seperates the amount of damage into abilities. The average DPS of your Unload ability is higher on Fight 1 then it is in Fight 3. Unless I'm still being confused because I'm much more of a "Is it dead yet?" player then breaking down in to specific numbers. At the very least the cool down proc is working even if the +25% is not, meaning that [at least the way I'm looking at it] you're still capable of pulling down more damage if you have it enabled.
  5. Yeah, looking at the individual hits it doesn't appear as though Unload is doing more damage, but this is what bugs me: Fight 1: Unload Avg. DPS - 68.87 Avg Hit - 69.7 Crt% - 9.9 Fight 3: Unload Avg. DPS - 40.62 Avg Hit - 70.34 Crt% - 12.74 With Fight 1, you're average hit is lower, probably because your Crits were lower, but overall the average amount of DPS you did was higher. Hidden metric?
  6. I'm confused on how it's almost identical: Fight 1 - Duration: 3:14 Fight 3 - Duration: 4:31 Fight 1 - Number of Hits: 239 Fight 3 - Number of Hits: 619 Fight 1 - Damage: 31304 Fight 3 - Damage: 27550 Fight 1 - Unload: Average DPS 68.87 Fight 3 - Unload: Average DPS 40.62 Fight 1 was 1:17 shorter, you did 380 less hits [i'm assuming because you had to use Rapid Shots to help with Heat], but did +3754 more damage and on average the DPS for Unload was higher. This is just looking at the overview though, and not individual hits.
  7. Here's another good tool for comparing bench marks: Anandtech CPU Bench You can pick two CPUs and compare them side by side for performance, including games [e.g. Crysis, WoW, Civ 5] and other programs.
  8. Okay, so I'll keep an eye on the Auction House Republic Side and go farm some champion mobs on Hoth for now. If that fails by the time I out level it, take the hunt to Belsavis. Thanks for the help. <<" Will also be submitting a TORhead comment once I get a confirmed drop from somewhere.
  9. Game was down for two hours, tops. And if people aren't sure what the exploit was, it means that they took care of it before too many people could take advantage of it and screw up the economy. Lesser of two evils, IMO.
  10. TORHead - RD-15B Commando Chestguard Any idea of where to get this? I know that the Helmet/Belt can be bought with Hoth Commendations, and I got the pants off one of the champion mobs, but still looking for the chest piece.
  11. We're going off the assumption that your girlfriend actually has an interesting in playing MMOs or Video Games in general. Step One: Let her play around with the character creator. Depending on said girlfriend, this might be a bit time intensive or rather short. Being able to physical create a character might form some sort of attachment to it, and since they do spot out a one-liner when you get to things like body type and hair will introduce her to voice acting. Step Two: Let her play around in the starting area. While account sharing is frowned upon, I'm hoping BioWare will turn a blind eye with the prospect of a new player. If she gets hooked on her characters personality and storyline... Step Three: Profit! ... Or rather, since you both can't be playing the same account simultaneously, the fact that if she wants to continue playing the game, or to play with you (you should stress that if she has her own copy, you can PLAY TOGETHER!), she'll need her own version. Also offering to buy her a copy (don't forget to mention it includes 30 days free game time!) might help, because then it's not a matter of spending HER MONEY on something she might not enjoy.
  12. I'm just going to leave this here... Stephen Reid, emotes on mounts, and patches.
