    It's an American game. I'm sure to accommodate you, they have leased server farms somewhere in Europe. That costs money. They're not going to eat that cost. Edit: If not that, it's probably your "Democracy" in action by way of taxing ISPs, or whomever that is passing the cost to you.

    Oh shut up OP. Your computer is from 2001 and so you blame EA and declare the whole launch a bust. Fact is, it runs flawlessly for me. Never had a queue (ok, one that was about 10 minutes) and constant 55ms ping. In fact, it's been the smoothest MMO launch I've participated in since EQ.
