  1. I've sent tickets both here and in-game. Now let's see what will happen. Thank you all for trying to help and for the advices. Unfortunately, somehow I'm not optimistic.
  2. I didn't open the ticket yet, because, as I stated before, I never got any help from CS after the launch... ah well, will try to do that, perhaps, something changes.
  3. I never used it either, no need, since I'm a subscriber. I got him two authorizations from the GTN - one for game events gear and one for the artifact gear. He was using simple artifact mod, that's all, he equipped it in moddable gear. Now, for that particular one it says what it says and he can't equip others artifact mods. In order to bind that authorization, one has to use it first - I just bought it and sent it to him. He was playing with that artifact piece for some 30 mins, then got disconnected and when he logged back - this happened.
  4. As I recall, it was this version that I bought for him http://www.swtor-spy.com/item-single/Artifact_Equipment_Authorization_Account/32975/ . As I said, it worked yesterday, then he got DC and after logging back, the item he already had on him had a message 'previously authorized by subscription', and he wasn't able to equip other artifact items. Tbh, I don't think that CS will help with this issue - so far they never even answered on any of my tickets (and I had only few of those, all concerning game-breaking bugs)... I recall them helping me just once, with pre-order activation key, and that was about it. Ah, this is just sad.
  5. Basically, there's no help with this issue then, since he's f2p and can't ask help from the customer's support. I was actually surprised when this happened, 'cause f2p can get this from the AH and many of them already got this kind of help from their subscribed friends. I really don't know how to sort this mess, unless the Authorization itself has wrong tooltip and can't be actually traded through GTN and then sent to f2p.
  6. I bought 'Authorization: artifact equipment' for my f2p friend yesterday on the GTN. He was able to use it and to equip artifact gear, but today, that gear is removed from him and he gets the message - 'previously authorized by subscription'. What went wrong? And what does he need to do in order to make it work?
  7. Continuing the class specific chains and ofc, the same for romances.
  8. The problem with world exploration in SWtOR is the fact that you don't have alternative ways in reaching your destinations - everything is more or less condemned to one established path. Tatooine (and Hoth to some extent) is the only planet that gives you the feeling of free traveling through environment. I honestly hate Belsavis and Balmorra on both sides because of so many limitations on how to reach certain destinations (no true exploring whatsoever). I love SWtOR and I keep coming back to it, but that's the major reason why I play for a month, until I level up a new character and then take a break for couple of months. Mind you, I just finished playing MoP - and after seeing the grinding set-up in WoW again (it actually reminded me on Vanilla WoW endless rep grinding), I honestly think that SWtOR has potential to outgrow itself and other MMOs, but the environment truly needs better design, next places and planets require that feeling of open world - multiple ways on how to get somewhere and perhaps even hidden things (lore stuff that is just curiosity, nothing more). I loved WoW exploration before Cataclysm, seen so many strange and lore connected marvelous places (it was a sort of special challenge for me - I still remember entering the original Mount Hyjal through Darkwhisper Gorge, the sheer excitement for being there). I keep my fingers crossed for BioWare and SWtOR because the premise of this game is a good one, but they really need to do something with designs of worlds - they need to make them much more opened, free.
  9. I'm 100% supporting this idea - I want to play this game and see how the stories develop, I just can't commit myself to raiding anymore after 6 years of WoW. Actually, I always thought they'd implement this in the first place.
  10. Just brilliant lol... especially SLAVE part lol.
  11. Ah, it's just we don't get enough exp for finishing a quest or bonus mission, thus making stealth approach ridiculous to use. I never had that problem in WoW, I wasn't reduced to simple 'body count' leveling... here, even as Operative, I had to spend some extra time in mindless mobs killing after completing my goal in order to have near enough exp. The way things are, it seems that players are reduced to grinders, which is ok for the end game, but not for leveling process itself. I hated that in times of Vanilla WoW and I hate it now. Of course, I'm in minority and I wouldn't say anything, but so far this game was forcing me to do extra killing or to group up for heroic grinding quests and that's something I don't like - being forced out from independent playing - never encountered that before. Once again, probably my opinion is not a valid one 'cause I'm playing only to see each class story, but in other games I was able to do that on my own without being reduced to 'body count' gameplay, here, no matter which class I play, I have to spend more time in slaughtering mobs instead of following my story and unique approaches my class has to offer.
  12. This problem would be solved if BW would include special 'companion' drops along with those that are meant for players. For instance, group of players goes for Taral V, each boss drops one piece as it always was the case plus 'companion' unique (player is not able to wear them) one and then there are more reasons for going to flashpoints and no one is offended nor acting like rude, selfish arse. Problem that could be easily solved this way since obviously, loot is something that is important to majority.
  13. Actually, he's probably not WoW poster nor am I. Ilum is truly badly designed and there's not even strong enough story to back up the sheer amount of mobs, lack of resources for gathering professions... just simple body count that is not enjoyable. I am confused, to be honest, usually BioWare is really good with scaling... Ilum, I just see it as tiresome, dull place where you spend your time in constant fighting with mobs that will stop being that challenging after all players gear up in FPs. But that's the trick, game shouldn't be frustrating and even MMO's should respect the difference between solo questing and groups. It is wrong to force people to constant grouping... it should be players' choice if they want to group up or not when it comes to quests that are not marked as heroic, flashpoint, etc. Don't get me wrong, I came back to MMO's 'cause of SWToR, and I truly love it, but Ilum is badly designed for now. Instead of getting fun, I really think that majority will get frustration... like it was on Quel'Danas on PvP servers. Bad zone is just bad zone, simple as that. No need for dismissing posts from players that have foundation in their claims. Anyways, lets wait and see if you'll find Ilum good after just two or three days of being there.
