The use of profanity within an MMO is a common thing these days. Now there are lot of open debates about this even with the R&Rs in place. Even with the rules there, no gaming corporation has the right to ban or suspend a player for their words. As long as there is an option to prevent this kind of language from being seen within the game. With that being said, when you buy the game, it will say on the back what kind of game it is. Swtor states that it has mild language within its game. Let's take Blizzard as an example: they banned a player for major profanity violations under their R&Rs. That player took them to court and won his case. His whole defense was that when a game is installed, the profanity filter is automatically turned on. It takes multiple clicks to turn it off. When a player turns off a profanity filter, they have no right to complain about any readable chat content that could offend their little eyes. As long as a filter program has been implemented within the core structure of the game, they have no legal right to ban or suspend anyone even when there is a profanity policy in place.

Who's with me when it comes to some of these actors voices in a WZ? You know, the one that sounds like some grad student is telling us how great of a job we are doing and how this is fun? In my opinion, a leaders voice should not be some weak grad student / nurd's voice that sounds like he is patronizing us, Keep in mind that, in some cases, one of the teams can be experiencing an overwhelming loss to the enemy. Having such a voice over, in addition to the content of the message, does nothing to improve the player experience and can serve to cause the players higher levels of frustration and anger... It should be a strong leader voice. Like Captain Dale Dye or Gunny R. Lee Ermey. These are just 2 of the voices I'm suggesting but I'm sure there are others out there with the same ideas. Now the new patch 1.4 Jacked up the troopers and Smug- weapon sounds. These are the 2 class I know of. The weapon sounds use to be really nice but now it sounds like some weak....... Well I cant say what i want to with out violating Bio- rules but you get the point. If any one feels the same. Let me know.
