  2. Your specs look like they should be able to run it, based on the advertised system requirements, but then with it being a laptop there might be other complications, especially assuming that most laptops use the memory as shared for video memory. If I were going to play this game on a laptop, I would try to get one of the ones with the new AMD "A" processors that combine the graphics processor on the CPU, and I would get as much RAM in it as possible. People who know more than I do will help you better, but their posted system requirements suggest the CPU is more important than the graphics card, but again, in a laptop, more ram helps a lot. Also, there might be a bug - this thread has a suggestion that you set everything to "high" graphics, maybe to reset the settings - then go back and set them back to "low." http://www.cleartechinfo.com/Star-Wars-The-Old-Republic-System-Requirements-Cant-Play-it-on-your-Computer Here is a thread in these forums regarding laptops: http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=96376 Here are the A-series at newegg: http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&N=100006740%20600165139&IsNodeId=1&name=AMD%20A-Series Here is the site mentioned above for testing system specs: http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/cyri/intro.aspx Hope that helps.
  3. I had the same problem with Aric Jorgan (Trooper companion). People in general chat advised me that the Senate cantina might be too small and to go to Fleet. That worked right away.
