  1. My argument as it stands is that it's, at this point, rather useless to argue which of the MMORPGs is better and why. It's all subjective, a matter of personal opinion and preference. This kind of a thread will succeed in bringing out what you rather degradingly called 'fanbois' and the critics who are aching to register their complaint. It would be best if this back-and-forth were to stop before it begins. See, your words are in a conflict and contradiction. On one hand you claim not to be biased, and on the other you laud anyone who still shows fondness for WoW, all the while trying to keep the role of an objective observer and that your opinion is somehow more valid than that of posters who dedicate their heart to this game. Amusing? Yes. Also, sad.
  2. Oh yes. My harsh and harrowing judgement of asking why you're doing this. I'd better take it somewhere else and apply it to a more useful purpose. Such as play Mah Jong Solitaire or arrange my sock drawer. Enjoy your SW:TOR experience - everyone.
  3. I would advise you to be careful of the nature of accusations you fling around. As I also stated earlier, why do you feel the overwhelming need to go poking at what you most assuredly know to be a real antpile or wasp's nest in favor of letting people like what they like and pursue what they want to pursue? I was a WoW veteran from the vanilla, through the Burning Crusade and Wrath of the Lich King. I grew tired of it. I left it. Only I can justify why I did so and why I've chosen to hop on this game's bandwagon. You have no claim for judging me or pinning labels on me. In fact, I'm providing you perfectly reasonable questions and observations, in an attempt to restore peace before things erupt into a flame war. Kindly look into your actions before you carry their repercussions. It'll be easier on you.
  4. Make your complaint then instead of doing the same ad hominem attacks that you so readily accuse others of and we'll all have a much more agreeable experience with laughs stemming from the memory of this.
  5. As well as ignoring those that were inconvenient for you.
  6. The million dollar question that must be burning and churning in the minds of those who read this would be: Why are _you_ here? All of us have the freedom to play whichever MMO we can afford to and which captures our interest. You seem to have a fondness for WoW, good for you. Other people don't, for various reasons the correctness of which you have no call to judge. Passing judgement on a subjective manner will end up making one the target of sympathy, amusement and ridicule from others. Why do you question the reasons others have to play or not play WoW or SW:TOR? If it's a bid for attention or a misguided attempt to look 'hip' and 'cool', I feel sad for you. Hope you can get whatever pleases you out of the game. That's all folks.
  7. There are MANY. However... true to my signature, I enjoyed the chance to play KotOR first and second as Dark Side. Unforgettable moment? Seeing Malak grovel like he would have suddenly developed a taste for whatever shoe-shine you slapped on your boots, going on about how wrong he was and how right you were. Snarking off with Bastila. Atton Rand's incessant sexistic flirtation and chest-staring.
  8. Oh good. Darlin', I've got some competitors to deal with. I'll line them up for you.
  9. ... and the masses cry out that it darn tootin' well should be!
  10. Apparently the Ferengi are making an appearance.
  11. Laughter's a disarming force. What would better suit a Sith than using it to kill, maim and slaughter? Mmm.... ruptured innards...
  12. Darth Binks - the massacre of laughing your tush off...
  13. Apprentices come equipped with Shock collars... so the Lords can plot in peace?
  14. They work actively to weed out the weakest link. What does it make the Republic/Jedi/Light Side that they wait and lurk until that weeding moment before they move in? Not to mention taking forever to make up their mind whether or not to defend their own people. Brilliant defenders of the Good and Just, indeed. At least the Sith are open about what they want.
  15. My, it smells of World of Warcraft in here, all of a sudden. As well as obviousness. Personally, I hope that seeing as how the game already has done away with most of my mmo pet peeves, it will get this one right as well.
  16. ... more Jedi and Sith for me, muruseni. And by all means go on, nyehehe. You might see the appeal in this game, yet.
  17. Vegetable noodle soup, cheap and takes five minutes to prepare. Home-made burgers with ready-fried steaks, some assembly required. Coffee percolator working on overdrive. Mmm, caffeine. Nicotine breaks a few times a day to get that 'extra oomph'. Sharing an addiction to The Old Republic with my Scoundrel? Priceless.
  18. Look on the bright side... you're no longer missing out of what's yet to come.
  19. Oh, those things were shot at amazing angles, yes! For those of us who were very much immersed in the watching it came precariously close to a genuine wetting-yourself-moment.
  20. It was Han at first for me. Then we saw Boba Fett... even that helmet could not block the pheromone-like waves of "bad-tuckus" charm. And then I learned more about him and discovered he was a very diverse character. Just like Han Solo, aye aye. (Edit: Accursed filter... I shall get the best of you through subtlety!) If I could meet Harrison Ford I would have him sign my arm in permanent ink. Perhaps of the Japanese calligraphy kind?
  21. If that early access is indeed on the seventeenth or eighteenth, you'll be on a mission. With a thermal detonator in each hand. Think that would be taken seriously enough?
  22. Actuality points towards a fervent wish to be correct and a need to make oneself appear important by giving out official-looking hogwash information. Patience is a virtue. Too bad I am Sith.
  23. And here we are once more. Feels good to be back, doesn't it. Welcome to those genuinely new, and welcome back to the names and marks from the earlier forum structure.
