  1. Never Mind. It appears to have been the old Update Bug Issue. Took about 10 minutes but a lump sum of Conquest Points mysteriously appeared without an onscreen notice, and now it's going up normally with the usual onscreen notice.
  2. I Hit level 75 on a character as I was farming Conquest Points. As soon as I hit 75 the points stopped accumulating, stuck at 23,974! The character that was already 75 is still accumulating points normally. How do I get the blasted things moving again??
  3. I was afraid of that! Haven't replaced my power supply in 3 or so years. It's probably going and needs to be replaced before I can do any high end gaming. Thanks for the input, much appreciated!
  4. Is there currently a game stability issue? I resubscribed after several months to blow off some steam before I have to leave for 10 weeks of preparing tax returns and the game crashes out every 2 or 3 minutes! I'm already remembering why I unsubscribed in the first place. Please tell me this is a known issue and a fix will be in soon!
  5. When I finished the current story arc on my main (Light Side Jug) Light Side Jaesa was returned as a story companion. When I started the arc on an alt (Dark Side Marauder) Dark Side Jaesa was removed from my non-story companion roster, and the gear she was wearing was returned to my inventory, as per usual when you start an arc that's returning a story companion. I finished the story, no Dark Side Jaesa. What's more she did not return to my non-story companion roster and she is not available to reclaim on the Alliance terminal. Is this a known bug? Is the story broken? Was she removed accidentally? Is there something I can do to get her back? She's my melee lvl 50 Influence companion, and with the ranged companions still broken and unwilling to take a single step to get a target in range, I'd really like to have her back!
  6. My account has been subscribed since day 3 of per-release... Am I angry as F**k that Bioware/EA has been taking my money every month for the last 5 and a half YEARS without giving a flying F**k as to the value of the content they provide for my subscription? YOU BET I AM!! Am I still here because everyone else out there at the moment, including Blizzard, is JUST AS BAD if not WORSE! CORRECT AGAIN! That DOESN'T mean my grievances are invalid!
  7. Especially since they ran a Dark Vs Light event that had the potential to drop Dark Side or Light Side Tunings which Bioware/EA, in their infinite wisdom, have decided NOT to add to collections... meaning if you have BoL Weapons you added Dark side/Light Side Tunings to MONTHS AGO you can NO LONGER share those weapons WITH ANY OTHER character you have FOR ANY PRICE! Way to PENALIZE your paying customers for participating in your friggen content! Oh! And, of course, there is the fact that if you HAVE added a tuning that CAN BE added to your collection, don't worry, you WILL be able to share those weapons across characters on your account... SOME TIME NEXT MONTH... HOPEFULLY!!
  8. It's even worse than that... they keep changing things to keep the PvPers happy... who they are never going to keep anyway because every game has PvP and true PvPers are ALWAYS going to cycle once they fell dominant in any game... but they INSIST on DENYING it has anything to do with PvP, as if the PvEers are so stupid that we can't see it!! The problem for them is, Hard core PvPers don't care, and the majority of PvEers are smart enough to do the deductive reasoning, "Hmmm they are NERFING the midstream DPS in PvE and the top DPS in PvP, but they are BUFFING the TOP DPS in PvE but the WORST DPS in PvP!!' A pedophile is never going to admit that he wants to have sexual contact with children, but that doesn't mean we can't spot them a mile away! And, you know, when there's a bug in this game that gives players something they aren't entitled to and didn't earn they fix that **** ASAP, EVEN if it means bringing the servers down in the middle of the day! But if there's a bug that is detrimental to the player, we get told, "we hope to have this fixed sometime NEXT MONTH!" What a nice way to say to your paying customers, "Give me your money and go F**K yourself!" City of Titans goes live, I am done with ANY title bearing an EA logo for the rest of my natural life! MMO games by and for hardcore MMO gamers! My only hope is that they are so successful that they branch out into other genres and put all these other money grubbing scumbags who think it's ok to produce a gaming product and say "F**k You!" to their paying customers OUT OF BUSINESS!!
  9. Seriously, how long has it been now?? And you can't seem to fix this "bug"? If you're trying to get your remaining paying subs to take their money elsewhere, keep up the good work!!
  10. The blue 244 gear is trash! The Armorings/Barrels/Hilts are the only thing out of them worth a damn! If you have any clue as to what you're doing putting raid/PVP gear sets together the stats on the mods are TOTALLY useless and the Enhancements have the EXACT SAME STATS as their 242 counterparts without even ONE POINT of difference. How do you justify having two Enhancements with the EXACT SAME STATS and you rate one 242 and the other 244?? They are EXACTLY THE SAME!
  11. I have been paying into this game since pre-release, paying my subscription while the vast majority of people who play this game are FTP or Preferred. I like progression raiding and I like PvP. Both of those things require you to have top end gear if you are going to compete with top end groups/guilds. If you don't care to apply yourself to get that gear in order to compete, that's your business... but I pay my money and I bust my *** to get the crates that are SUPPOSED to give me the gear I need only to get NOTHING for my efforts! That's not important you?? Good for YOU! You go ahead and keep playing your mediocre content, but do NOT assume that because you don't push yourself and aspire to compete with top end gamers that it gives you the right to **** on those of us who do! I pay my subscription just like you do, and I have just as much right to expect the game to be reasonable and fair in what matters to me as you do in what matters to you! Getting NOTHING for weeks worth of work is neither reasonable nor fair! If Bioware removed everything 230+ from the game, I wouldn't have a problem with that, so long as they adjusted the HM and NiM Raids to accommodate this new Stat Cap.
  12. I would never have called the RNG on the tier 4 Command Crates “Generous” but every 30 to 50 crates or so (I keep a spreadsheet to mark my progress) I would get a 248 set piece (often a duplicate, but a set piece) or a 248 main hand or off hand. Then 5.2.2 came out. I hit my 300th Tier 4 Command Crate today since 5.2.2 went live and I have not gotten ONE SINGLE 248 set/main hand/off hand! I have gotten 5 248 drops, 2 earpieces, 3 relics... in both cases the same earpiece twice and the same relic 3 times, both of which I already have pre-5.2.2! I put it to you that your pseudo-random number generator (since a computer is a logic engine and CAN NOT generate a TRULY random number... it can ONLY generate a non-repeating sequence of numbers that SEEMS random if you don't know the sequence) is BROKEN! Even at that drop rate of 1.666% (which is LUDICROUS btw, unless you are going to guarantee the piece will be useful and not a duplicate!) the odds of a TRUELY random number returning the same 2 out of about 19 possibilities 5 times in a row is staggering! You changed something in the RNG to drastically reduce the number of set piece/man hand/off hand drops, and changed it in such a way that there is a high probability that the majority of 248 pieces that do drop will be useless to the character that gets them. If you're looking to avoid ANOTHER mass exodus of paying subscribers it might be a good idea to change it back! Difficult to get is one thing... Damn Near Impossible is another thing entirely! Don't take my word for it, check my account. I have been a paid subscriber since day three of per-release... and I am very, very close to canceling my subscription. If you're in danger of losing someone like me, how many more subs do you think are on the verge of saying “Screw Bioware/EA!” and never coming back??
  13. Several of the East Coast servers WERE taken down for the same old "load into a non-existent queue" that has been popping up for the past four weeks. Don't take my word for it... check the Developer Tracker Forum, there are only about half a dozen updates posted about it!
  14. So you bring down the servers to work on the issues but you don't bother to BACK THEM UP first!?! What is this... amateur night?? 90 minutes of tedious, repetitive farming down the tubes! Thanks Bioware!! Way to value your paying subs!
  15. I had 25 toons who completed conquest last week and we finished on the board. First thing I did was log in the main (my only Command Rank 300) and purchased the “Galactic Command Commanding Legacy” perk. As I logged the remaining toons I began to realize I wasn't getting the same command points on every character. Most were getting 3,750 Command Points for the turn in (Which is what I was getting before 5.2.2) some were getting 4,200 Command Points (the appropriate 25% Boost) and a couple got 5,250 Command Points. Upon further investigation I realized the server had hit a Lightside Victory Phase while I was doing my collecting which explained the 5,250. But the fact remains that only about 1/3 of my characters received any benefit from the Legacy Boost! (I should note my Command Rank 300 is my ONLY toon with the Command XP Boost character Perk and none of my toons were running a CXP Boost.) Once again new contents seems to have been unleashed on us before it was ready! Well, at least our speeders go faster... No! Wait?! Updated: Upon further experimentation I believe the issue I encountered this morning was a result of load sequencing because Command XP works differently than normal XP. Normal XP if you have quest rewards waiting and pop an XP boost you get the boosted XP, with Command XP you do not. While I purchased the Legacy XP boost before logging in the character and generating the reward, in most cases it would seem the client logged my Quest Reward before updating my Legacy Perk status for that character resulting in no boosted XP (though on a few I lucked out and the Perk Updated first and I got the extra Command XP.) I killed a couple thousand mobs of varying rank across multiple characters and got exactly the Command XP I would have expected for each kill, so load sequencing is the only explanation that makes sense to me. If it happens again next week, then there may be other issues.
