  1. http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=172339 Heres the PC I'm building. It's right in the 1000-1200 range.
  2. PrtScreen button on the top right side of the keyboard. Then open up something like MS paint and paste the image in.
  3. I think this is probably the main reason I don't really want to continue playing. I love the game, want it to succeed, but really until this is fixed, I'l probably be playing WoW. I think the main problem with it, is if they make the animations clip, they'll be forced to ruin how smooth the combat looks. My solution, (by my best guess) would be to increase the GCD by a few more miliseconds, so every animation has time to finish, or to speed up some animations. Then take thinks like interrupts and taunts, and have their animations get clipped by other, more important ones. Just a thought. I'll be checking back to see if they do fix it. Maybe I'll be lucky, and there will be addons by that time to. :3
  4. It's a computer issue. At least for me. On my friend's comp, the jumping is very responsive. On mine---not so much. Took me 2 hours to get the +presence datacron on Nar Shaada. T.T Thank god you can wall clip to the tattooine one, though. I might have raged my fist through my keyboard otherwise.
  5. Is there a way to turn off the automatic camera reset? Every time I die in a WZ or go to a loading screen, i need to zoom my camera back out all the way, because it automatically zooms in.
  6. The more threads like this I see, the more I want to take the time to make a thread to explain Mods. I don't think people grasp the concept of it. Every argument against it is "Crutches" or "a requirment for raids" or "1 button lol" And the fact of the matter is that's not true. If , a mod becomes a crutch the developer can break it. 1 button mods don't work, despite what many people think. (so long as its done in the WoW fashion." and if I remember correctly, the ONLY mod that ever made itself a 'requirment' was DBM. and if the developers make more randomized events in encounters, a mod like that wont work. (everything in WoW was on a timer, thats why DBM got popular)
  7. This is true. When swtor launched, there was a queue 24/7. In the last week or so, this is the first time I've seen a queue.
  8. That's like playing a rogue to 20 in WoW and telling blizzard, "you know... I'd much rather be a druid. let me respec to a new class"
  9. People say it's nice for performance, but all I hear otherwise is that it shortens the lifespan of your CPU, and that idea scares me. I need this computer to last for at least 5-6 years.
  10. Sounds good. I'll put it on the list of things to buy.
  11. Ah, I see. But I'm not too sure about that specific one. The reviews on it are consistent in saying the cords are really short, specifically on bottom placed Power supplies, (like mine) Are you able to buy seperate (longer) cords?
  12. Noted on the RAM. is 700W going to be enough? I was thinking about maybe even going for 1000W as I may be adding a second Vcard in the future.
  13. Mmmmm... Do you think this would help push a little extra performance out of a Macbook Pro running windows 7 through Bootcamp? Currently SWTOR is playable on it, but it's choppy, and frustrating in pvp. I've been looking for ways to increase performance on this thing until I get to building my new PC.
  14. I think I'll go with the 64G From what I've read it affects mostly load times, and SWTOR and possible WoW will likely be the only thing installed on it other than the OS. Plus, I want to try and keep it as close to the 100$ range as possible. But, definately thanks for the suggestion, I'll put that as the one I'm using in the OP.
