  1. I'd like to see, in no specific order:

    1. More customizations for existing races. Its been way too long and you'd think that this would be an easy thing to toss in every few months or so, but I guess not. Still, male Togruta missing the longer montrals, Twileks still having 3 faces and lacking colors, Cyborgs missing facial hair, no options to just use the default face that NPCs have for Nautolans, the lack of newer jewelry for Purebloods and so forth would be NICE for the team to touch on.

    2. Return of the Dark vs Light galactic system, including the bosses. The system could absolutely do with some revisions and it could be intertwined with Galactic Seasons to drive further interest, as well as a touch up on the token store, obtainable titles/customizations/outfits/etc. It was a cool feature that they did nothing with once it was not new and shiny anymore and that's a shame.

    3. Name purge. We've been long overdue for another.

    4. New GSF content. A new map, minor tweaks to ship balance, it being added to Galactic Seasons as an alternative form of track progression or having its own season. I may not be the greatest at GSF but I certainly respect the mode and the dedication its small community has had through the years.

    5. 'Claim All' button for specific parts of collections, like emotes, flairs, and pets.

    6. An update to where Token characters start and what level of character development they can start with. Personally, there is currently no reason to actually use a token as a vet player with a full stable of characters who are invested into different parts of the story. Token characters lack in all aspects. No corresponding titles that make them feel organic, no romance options possible to pick, defaulting alignment to whichever faction one is on, just everything about it feels so stale and deserted as a worthwhile concept. Seriously, just update how they work to make them for palatable.

    7. The dev team un-nerfing the Razor's Kickstart tactical (you thought I forgot?!)

    8. The ability to change the first advanced class of pre-existing characters from before swapping was introduced. I'm tied to the characters, but not the advanced classes in all cases.

    9. Multi-use dyes. Especially the more expensive ones.

    10. A reassessment of the leveling experience concerning the timing of some ability unlocks.

    11. Revisiting more starter worlds and home worlds. I would LOVE to see what's up on Kaas after so long (its been a while even since that one chapter in Kotet), as well as Coruscant and Korriban still feels like a world the game has yet to do justice to. Give us an operation or something on it, the planet is so iconic and it would make sense for both sides to have reason to draw blood there.

    12. New crafting schematics and a far less disorganized system than the one we've been saddled with for so long. Its tedious, outdated, resource intensive for the sake of padding, non-customizable (such as saving favorites, no note tabs, no pinning of resource tallies, etc), still lacking basic improvements like queuing up missions for specific companions to run, and far more.

    13. A conclusion to this mediocre story that has been dragging on aimlessly for years. Seriously, I know some of the story team have to be embarrassed with how long its taken to churn out what they have. This is flat out disappointing and already started off on the wrong foot coming off of the conclusion of yet another long drawn out story that actually had a satisfying ending. Why bring in Mandos and Malgus and do so few things of interest with them? Mando politicking and faction wars is cool, but why does the story have to come at the expense of player agency? Why does Malgus have to be thrown into the role of a common cartoon villain with goals that feel so non-threatening? Could it not have gone to a new villain?

    14. Bug fixes for longstanding bugs, including those introduced with 7.0. I'd like to sort my bag more than once without needing to close the window and reopen it to press the same button like it used to be. I'd like to accept my rewards from missions while running, emoting, and doing anything else but standing idle like I used to. I'd like to get away using Force Cloak without remaining in combat with a non-moving enemy for 150m.

    15. Second names following a space in character names actually being capitalized in the chat box if they are when the person made the name. How has this slipped through the cracks for so long?? 😭

I like that change. My guild won't be bugging me about turning in the daily rep token anymore and I can now just turn in all tokens at once without feeling to bad about the missed conquest points.

One would normally just tell their guild that its not always feasible and be done with it, being a group they belong to for more than rep token donations toward conquest goals, but being glad the whole boost toward personal CQ is thrown away completely is the kind of chaos we can appreciate around here in these trying times.

So about the new metallic dye. Why was the decision made to release a gold and purple dye that makes your character look like a piece of candy instead of one of the most commonly used dyes in the game a black and purple? I get trying new things. I noticed since broadsword took over the RPers have been getting a lot of love like the actual disciplinary action for messing with them. So since we know it's a big part of the game and half of this game, at this point, is making your character look amazing. Why do the developers continue to make decisions like this? Is there anyway for them to track what works and what does not? If not can they start logging in and checking the GTN or even putting out community votes? If you look at the GTN you would have noticed that the gold and white was almost a complete flop and there were so many cause they were not selling as much as the black and black and the red and black as well as their opposites. Not trying to complain, I'm genuinely not. I just don't understand why there are decisions being made that could have very easily been made differently that would affect the game on a much more positive note. I run multiple guilds with at least over 200 people in each and over 900 in the main. I'd say about 80% of them are in the discord. We have all been excited about it being a black and purple cause we thought there was no way you wouldn't be doing this since it was probably the 4th or 5th most popular dye. We all saw the notes for this and there wasn't a single person that thought it looked good except one of our pvpers in our guild that likes to make outfits that legit look like candy. Please please please start playing the game and reaching out to the community. It's decisions like this that consistently cause members to quit. I have played with some of the best people from my server. I have watched them leave and all of them were talking about how the devs simply just don't care. Personally I believe that if this mentality was changed it would bring back so many players it would be unreal. For example, when the mek-sha stronghold was to be released the two most requested strongholds were the dread palace on oricon and a zakuul estate like Vaylun's. Yet they went ahead and released Mek-Sha... that no one asked for, It's incredibly infuriating. I am not blaming anyone in particular I just thought you should know how all of the community I have met and played with feels right now. I hope this kind of stuff helps you out a little.

This was a lot for what little that first sentence was hinting at lmao

Once you make a new loadout, only use the 'Loadout' tab to switch between those loadouts and it will keep the skill tree, quickbar setups for each loadout you have setup.

If you switch combat styles/disciplines from the 'Combat Style' tab it does not remember your skill tree/quickbar setups.

A simple reminder pop up would alleviate a lot of the continued confusion about this aspect of an otherwise great feature. Just saying, BioSword.

  5. Its really as clear cut as Janosch put it, no need for blog entries. Imp defaults to full DS decisions with no romances being rekindled/started with Lana/Theron/Koth and with Torian being the chosen option for KOTET for everyone except Sith Warrior, and Pub side defaults to all LS decisions with no romances being rekindled/started with Lana/Theron/Koth and with Vette being the chosen option in KOTET. No changes have been made to the way the tokens operate or the flags they trigger since their introduction, which is my big issue with the tokens in the first place and why I refuse to use another.

  6. I'm amazed that in the pursuit of increasing mindless grinding, BioSword hasn't leaned on expanding one of the oldest systems of progression in the game: legacy levels! Having been stuck on level 50 for almost a decade now, I haven't ever tasted the supple nectar that is the 16,750 conquest points for the 'Advancement: Legacy' objective, not even once, and I CRAVE it. At this point it doesn't even need to follow the previously established pattern of 10 levels per title. We could just jump by 25's or 50's, with ever increasing levels of titles to match how much of one's life is being thrown away for that seductive purple bar. Mythical, Fabled, Iconic, just something new.

  7. Longtime bug at this point, ever since the inventory UI changes, the sorting button only works once and the tab needs to be closed and reopened again to effectively use the sorting function again. I don't know if its just me, I haven't seen anyone say anything about it thus far but it is really annoying and was not an issue before. Back in ye olden days.

The season is already 20 weeks long and you need to average 5 objectives per week to finish your 100.  To me that seems very reasonable especially since many of them are extremely simple to do.

How much longer do you want seasons to last?  Two weeks?  Then we'll have 22 week seasons until someone else didn't finish and then asks for seasons to be extended.  Where do you draw the line?   25 weeks?  30 weeks?  35 weeks?  More?

I stated in my original post that I'd only be 4 objectives short of the achievement and I'm certain the seasons won't run back to back. There's always a break and at most, all I am asking for is 1 more week. My life has been crazy in the past few months so I've only now gotten the chance to catch up and knowing I'm locked out of an achievement weeks ahead of the hard lock sucks, so I figured I might as well ask.

I dont know why you're blowing my meager (and most likely pointless) request out of proportion as if I wanted to add or someone suggested adding months. BioSword doesn't have to adhere to requests for extensions.

Thanks so much everyone for still trying to help, but I've moved on to brighter happier tasks. I was only doing it for the Galactic Seasons weekly objectives and thought I would get to see all the Theron cutscenes again but as that didn't happen, and I got to the keyboard-throwing stage, I gave up and just did two rounds of Battle of Rishi instead.

But it's very very kind of you to take the time to help me, and I'm sorry I've given up in a huff despite that. :)

    How disappointing.

  10. I haven't crashed this consistently since I ran this game on a rickety 2007 model Dell Inspiron at low graphics, this is ridiculous and the map and mail changes are so obnoxiously awful. Functionality, design, appearance, none of the marks were hit. This is likely to be another case of **** tier changes being made and instead of rolling them back, a few strips of scotch tape will be applied and we're stuck with a Frankenstein change that is never fully delivered upon, like the damn character pane (still missing the view option for outfits instead of instant changing, buttons being too small relative to the window and not adjustable, too few letters allowed for outfits, no way to manually sort, etc.)

And then we're going to have to deal with radio silence on the feedback.

  11. Light Side and Dark Side are only flavors of how you can play your [Republic] or [Empire] (factional) characters.

The classes fall into either factional side and determine who you can friend or not.

The combat styles, regardless of class, has no bearing on who you can friend or not. Ex: A Light Side Mercenary [Smuggler] CAN friend a Dark Side Juggernaut [Jedi Knight] because the core class (story) chosen aligns with each other's factions. Both are Republic, therefore friendable. As opposed to a Dark Sided Commando [Agent], who CAN'T friend a Dark Sided Sage [Consular]

You cannot mail people across factions, even if you're friends with them on another character. And you can only add people from the same server too, to be completely clear on that.

With that said, there ARE issues with friending that I have experienced personally and I am pretty sure it was not ALWAYS like that but I could be wrong. Some people I simply cannot friend while they're offline while others I absolutely can. Same server, same faction, not blocked, able to send whispers when they're online and emote at them. I have the right name and everything but I just have to wait for them to pop online, and this sucks so much that I'd given up on adding old friends on new toons incase I missed them logging on months ago.

Agreed! Makes absolutely no sense at all. You betray a Sith Lord like that, you're a dead man the second he (or she) gets you in their sights.

Breaking News! Imperial acts like an Imperial, more at 10! Quinn, for all the hate he gets, played the part perfectly and I think most people who haven't gotten over this part of the story just can't deal with not having total agency in this situation. Truth is, as we've seen in the story, you do anything to slight a Sith Lord in the least, you're dead. Much easier to headcanon the LS warrior having a respect for Quinn being a respectable player of the Imperial politic game and made submissive again, and the DS warrior needing time to identify a far more suitable punishment than some boring slashing animation striking down someone who could potentially also be your SO.

Like really people, get over it. The whole having a vendetta against characters thing also played a part in Bioware's continued lowering of quality story-telling because killing off undesired companions became an emotional crutch for moments in the story, even in cases where it made absolutely no sense (Theron anyone?) Scour the entire interwebs and someone, PLEASE, point me to any thread anywhere that asked for anything resembling the dumpster fire that was Nathema's ending. Needed a weighty ending to a storyline that was necessary to knock the Alliance back down a peg? Throw in a half-assed reveal, make the friendly spy killable, hell make everyone killable, and lose Koth's your ship. What an abysmal insult.

  13. We've been spoiled lol I don't mind it, though it does throw me for a loop when they decide to implement it here but not there. Like for the new GS companions, it was a surprise to see it back but I'm not sure what I'd get out of having my characters speak as well. I'd spacebar after the first time and half the talking is coming via alien language. If this is a cost saving measure, its definitely being used appropriately since the main content is still receiving the full VA treatment.

If it makes you quit, it makes you quit. But its a very minor thing to quit over when there's more than hundreds of hours of VA everywhere else ingame.

    Hi all!

Poking back in to respond, thanks so much for the comments and feedback so far. A common question is if we’ll be reducing the Weekly Arena Missions similar to the Arena Objectives. The answer is we will! I’ll update the initial post as well as list the information below.

Reduced the requirements for PvP Arena Weekly Missions:

    • [DAILY] My Kind of Scum
      • Now requires 4 Arena Matches (Wins count x3) - down from 6
    • [DAILY] Arena of Death!
      • Now requires 4 Arena Matches (Wins count x3) - down from 6
    • [WEEKLY] Time for Pain!
      • Now requires 16 Arena Matches (Wins count x3) - down from 24
    • [WEEKLY] Go Berserk!
      • Now requires 16 Arena Matches (Wins count x3)  - down from 24

As always, please keep the constructive feedback coming to make PvP Season the best experience yet!

I stopped actively pvping years ago and have largely allowed the pvp seasons to go by without a care for the rewards I couldn't outright purchase, but if these changes came much sooner, I wouldn't be completely turned off from arenas. These are solid, I hope to see more sensible changes make their way down the pipeline.

You could always just untick the emote channel in your chat window. Then you won't see emotes at all.

The cantina RPers getting spammed by walls of emotes from legacy-less trolls (and everyone else in the vicinity for that matter) for a few hours certainly would lose out. I recall there being a response to a question about the block filter being circumvented by persistent spammers years ago and nothing has still come of it, unfortunately. This is more of a Bioware-end issue, ignore as a tool doesn't work exactly how it should.

  16. I pay my galactic taxes and this is the service I receive? A decade and some change of the forums operating normally and its undone, potentially by a thread that didn't cause any issues before an upgrade?? Say it ain't so Jackie!

The likelihood of someone grabbing that name in those 5-10 minutes between deleting and recreating the look is extremely low.

So you're saying there's a chance😁 No really, Bioware, can you folk at least be responsive to criticism in some form, or open up and respond to dialogue/feedback? I haven't seen a word on upcoming corrections or additions to the  awful new character customizer, let alone new cosmetics to expect, no new races, nothing on a name eligibility checker after more than a decade and making people wing it, etc. It would be one thing if things were so busy with a bustling content schedule pumping out new thing so much that things fall on the backburner, but this feels like one of those things that will lie there for years before being suddenly touched because something adjacent to it was being touched too.

I did my best to capture screenshots and exact timestamps this time around, but I am a bit discouraged that Customer Service apparently had no way to verify the PTS, but on my first ticket seemed to claim to have checked for my eligibility and found I *wasn't* eligible. At that point, there's a chance that I might have deleted a character due to having multiple copies of the same one when the first PTS was live, but the progress should still have been recorded...and I just don't know what'll happen this time. I provided forum feedback to help any investigation into the specifics... but I just want some sort of confirmation. If the reward grant fails again, and I submit a ticket, and get the same 'clearly you didn't participate or you would have gotten it' sort of response, I'll feel pretty gaslit. It's good to know I'm not the only one from these forum posts over the past week or two, though.

I'm convinced that either there are no tools for the CS to double check our progress/participation, or that I somehow did the Alderaan testing on a second account entirely. I'm not too bothered about it, but it does feel a bit... weird. Totally fine with this being user-error too btw.

Please revert game difficulty to 1.0 era. There are too many "legendary" players who run around at level 80, not even knowing their class (let alone any other classes) because game is "follow-the-companion" easy.

Focus point is, it would appear that the battle for difficulty and learning curve in this game is largely lost. Does it matter if they are newbies at level 1, 60, 70 or 80?

Fun fact; He started playing before you did. He might actually have an idea of what is going on.

In fact, when was the last fight we've been put through where Interrupt, knockback, or targeted stun/mezz was actually rewarded? The learning curve problem has long been an issue I'd largely put in Bioware's ballpark because there hasn't been a push to at least reinforce some of these basic staples to combat at semi-regular intervals in story/daily content. Make a number of interrupts a conquest objective or something. Crank up the old vanilla story bosses (thinking Inq's final boss and their old school 'interrupt or kill me before I kill you' mechanic specifically), SOMETHING.

As for OP, I agree with the sentiment that more should be done to cultivate something better than a zombie brained player base of cinematic enjoyers (saying this as a longtime proud casual), but limiting the datacron would do absolutely nothing to stem the tide.
