  1. Anyone else have any input on the idea/feasibility, possibly someone with coding experience?
  2. It is a downside, just as using an Outlander Token jumps you forward in much the same way.
  3. Recently, while playing SWTOR I made some wide, sweeping choices on my character, ones I'd have made differently had I known or remembered my own history, this is due to the vast scope of time between the actions and their consequences that I could not remember. I would love the ability to rewind the story back to an arc, rewinding and undoing story mission flags. Like a sort of 'reset'. Imagine if you will, you want to restart your story, to replay your game, with your character that you have over 700 hours on. You want to keep your gear, you want to keep your hard earned cartel benefits for that character as well as personal character unlocks, and just for nostalgia and feel. An easy way to do this would be simple... --- Activate a token that undoes all center story missions, and removes quest flags from character. (Purple Quests, not side quests, just the main series for each character.) When you activate said token, you get a warning like so. "Warning, when you activate this token, you will be transported back to your starting planet, and all core story decisions will be reset. Type "Reset" and confirm. --- When you activate it, your companions are put in standby in the gear you had them in. Your credits, items, etc. Are kept. When you're going, your main core quests and things that flag the profile can be played again. Relationship Numbers are kept, as they are separate from flags, and would allow companions whom you may have Cartel Boosted, to still show up and be a variable, even if they died in the storyline. It would be a luxury that a player like me would adore having, and I could gladly see myself paying a full fifty dollars to buy such a token.
  4. Get the republic to legalize bounty hunting and I'll gladly!
  5. Thank you for your reply, and I look forward to RPing with you sometime. My characters Pub Side include Tsura and Tarena.
  6. Hanabi Bulwark Omega ((OOC = Out of Character and will be highlighted silver in brackets.)) Character Name: Hanabi (On Jung Ma), Battlemaster Hanabi and Hanabi Badhand (Starforge/Current) Full Name: Hanabi Castle Badhand Aliases: Hanabi of the Iron Palm, Hanabi the Bulwark, Bulwark Omega. Race: Human/Cyborg (9%) Gender: Female Profession: Martial Artist, Bounty Hunter, Combatant. Age: 29 Hair: Hanabi's hair is a deep brown color, she keeps it spiked and short. It is straight, course and somewhat dirty and it smells like soot and ash. Skin: Hanabi's skin is darker and deeper then the average person a deep tanned color on the darker end. Her hands and feet are calloused from years of climbing and training in combat. Appearance details: Hanabi is a little on the short size for most women however her features separate her by a great deal, her eyes are a bright hawk orange color. Hanabi's shoulders are broad and strong and her arms are incredibly muscular for her gender. Hanabi is strong, agile, built like a large panther. Hanabi's natural stance is strong, defensive, and most of the time slightly cocked to the side ready for a fight at any moment. Even in casual conversation. Voice: Hanabi's voice is rough and course spoken somewhat low pitched for the languages normal. It is direct. When she speaks lowly it is well heard and when she shouts her voice reverberates a little. Even with her Mandalorian heritage she has learned to speak common without accent or falling into Mandalorian phrasing. Personality: Hanabi's Personality is a strange mix of Berserker, Thoughtful Warrior, Barbarian and Honor Seeker. She is brash yet attentive, impatient yet observant. Quick to anger yet slow to hold a grudge. Her life is strange and there are many Polars in her personality going across the whole spectrum. Hanabi herself has no sense of racial distaste yet has a sense of personal pride in her own race. She doesn't even understand the concept of hating a race. If a Human acted dishonorably and a Mon Calamari acted honorably she'd side with the Mon Calamari. Her gaze truly shows no favor or disfavor to someone based on there race. On their past, yes, on their allegiance and choices, yes. But on their race, the blood in the veins or things beyond their control, no. ||Decrypt Personality Profile|| ~Abilities and Weaponry~ Non-Combat Skills: Self trained after she left home, Hanabi took up study in the medical fields and survivalism to learn how to treat and handle the wounds that linger after the battle using more readily available supplies. Having studied it since she was 18, and has had a good eleven years to drive her craft to the pinnacle. Her study in medicine had originally started due to the wound that had taken her right eye from her, which resulted in a heavy focus on cybernetics, which she has mastered beyond what many would expect from the brutish women. Formulating and creating advanced cybernetic devices she has even made a few that she herself uses. Secondly like many learning field medicine she is a skilled Bioanalyst knowledgeable in many ways of finding good resources for making both weapons and foods, methods for telling if something is poisonous, and how to find the few eatable plants even in a stark desert. Lastly, while many medically inclined people prefer to get a network of diplomatic contacts to procure them rare cutting edge supplies, Hanabi forgone the academic qualifications, in favor of using the time spent on diplomacy for something she saw as needed for her survival, slicing. Hacking into databases, breaking locks, finding people. As a bounty hunter she knew she needed and has made extensive use of these skills resulting in not only a more profitable, hunt, but the ability to raid locked supply caches in a survival situation. Hanabi considers herself a master survivalist, who not only can look out for herself, but whoever she is charged to bodyguard. Allowing her to literally fall off the edge of the universe without any way to track her, as she can make everything she needs to survive anywhere she ends up. This allows her to take targets into protective hiding extremely well. Combat Skills: Hanabi is a premium rate martial combatant who has been trained ever since she was a child in hand to hand combat. She knows several close combat styles but uses a combat form derived from a mix of Teras Kasi, Mandalorian Combat Training and a small degree of Echani Battle Arts. Hanabi is also a master of armor and weapon use, with a skill in a wide variety of improvised and built in weaponry, such as being a near crack shot with a gun, skilled with explosives and the many weapons more common to the bounty hunting profession, weapons she has over her years as a hunter have honed into a deadly art that synergies well with her combat skill. In close combat, Hanabi is deadliest up close where her wide range of skills and natural drive for combat allow her to enter a dance of death that is hard to escape, pulling in people and even controlling the flow of battle against multiple people. The trade off for her skill in dealing and handling situations so well and surviving is that she is incredibly defensively focused, using her abilities primarily to keep herself alive first, and strike and deal damage second. She doesn't lay on the damage or have the aggressive power punches more common from advanced fighters. As a bodyguard she is top notch, her style of control fighting allows her to make herself almost impossible to ignore on the battlefield, literally putting herself as a wall between her charge. Cybernetics: Kyber Eye: Hanabi's Scanner Eye placed in the right socket is a unique creation of hers, it isn't as functional or useful as many others, lacking any features her normal eyeball wouldn't have. However it has a connected Hud interface, name database and storage for memorizing details and taking pictures. Aside from the Hud System it features a brief scanner which inputs a picture of the scanned item in her databank and allows her to quickly identify it on seeing one again. ||Decrypt Cybernetic Profiling|| ((OOC: These cybernetic installments aren't very well known, but a master slicer would be able to track this down.)) ((OOC: This one is a secret to all but a select few and is only included here for prosperity and continuity and would not be findable no matter what resources you had.)) ~History~ Old Day Hanabi has no known birth parents, she and her sister Tarena had been orphans for as long as any could remember. No known world of origin, the earliest record is an old security tape of them on Nar Shaddaa. The two of them were at the age of six years old adopted by a Retired Veteran Mandalorian named Goh'zhan who was already raising a Twi'lek girl named Tsura. Much of how Hanabi was raised remains a mystery. What is known is that she and every member of her family were raised on how to fight, and to form a very strict sense of honor from a very young age. At age nine, Hanabi's adopted sister Tsura was handed over to the Jedi Council due to her being discovered as force sensitive. Hanabi's family consistently traveled along the areas of space between the Republic and Empire. Survive Many harsh worlds have records of the Badhand family. Tatooine, Hoth, Manaan. The children, Hanabi especially were trained on these worlds to survive, with Goh'zhan sometimes hiring outside help to aid his children training. Hanabi learned survival from the likes of planetary natives, or explorers who made it their business to survive. And at the age of ten she could pretty much survive abandoned on any planet without having to rely on the heavy amounts of technology so prevalent in the galaxy. One she was especially fond of was the Jawa Imatuk who taught her how to survive and find water, even on Tatooine and considered like brother to herself due to his playful and adventurous attitude. On the planet Aida in the Mid-Rim, Hanabi, Tarena, and her younger sister Yukah were attacked by pirates while their father was on a supply run to the local colony. The Supply run turned sour when when Yukah foolishly decided to attack the pirates despite Tarena saying they should remain calm and that losing their stuff wasn't worth their life. The young Zabrak girl however couldn't take it, after theft had destroyed her life before, and tried to kill the local raiders. Yukah, Hanabi and Tarena were severely injured by the raiders, yet were skilled enough to make the raiders feel genuinely threatened. While Tarena who had been trained like all of them to use a rifle, was trying to work up the courage to use their father's holdout rifle against the raiders from behind cover. She'd never shot at anyone before, despite the fact she was an excellent shot in practice. One of them threw an incendiary grenade between the three of them. Hanabi, being quick on her feet and wit picked up the grenade and threw it back, but not fast enough. She herself was caught in the blast from the grenade scorching the right side of her body badly, destroying her eye and leaving severe burns across her body. This moment however gave Tarena the resolve she needed to use the blaster rifle and shoot. Tarena, having had rifle training from Goh'zhan was a good shot, and managed to hit one of them in the head, another in the arm, and the remaining two, got driven back trying to haul off their comrades. Had it not been for their neighbor, Nunian Banes the pirates might have regathered. Having arrived back hearing the commotion he had came over as quick as he good and started shooting at them from the ridge overlooking their shelter. Ultimately forcing the raiders into full retreat. Death of a Child, Training of a Bulwark Hanabi's wounds were tended to well at the local community center, however even the best Kolto treatments couldn't return her eye to her or get rid of the scars. Resulting in a change in Hanabi's personality. Where once she'd been reckless and aggressive, she had become more careful and estimating. No longer was 'just surviving' enough for her and by the age of twelve she had thrown away her childhood for training in field medicine, combat and cybernetics. Hanabi often insisted that grenade was a purifying fire in her life, that it burned away her weakness and was the forge for her resolve. Under the masterful instructions of several droid instructors, and working at the local medicinal clinic she spent years learning the foundations of healing and cybernetics. Her mornings and afternoons filled with combat training and survival, and her evenings filled with study and healing. Goh'zhan took his family traveling again, naming Nunian Banes the godfather of his children. Hanabi's study of medicine led Goh'zhan to seek out the aid of a masterful doctor to apprentice her on Kashyyk. Tarena however, haunted in her own way by the incident of that night had went to Tython to try and find Tsura, who had always been the wisest of their siblings, and while on that trip had met an old soldier with the republic. Tarena tried to get Hanabi to apply to the military education program the republic had. Hoping that military school would help Hanabi, and that the cybernetics they provided could give her back her eye. But Hanabi refused. But was present to see Tarena join the Republic Military Academy. After exposure to the cybernetics of both republic and imperial space, Hanabi made her first Cybernetic upgrade, her Kyber Eye (Read Cybernetics Above). She also was the one to install her own eye. Through the use of restraints, a bio-bed and mechanical arm system she ran the machine that removed her eye and connected the new one. ENCRYPTED: With Tarena having left home, and Hanabi herself being fully educated and ready to set out in the world, she bid a warm farewell to her father, and the siblings that remained in his care such as Yukah who still blamed herself for Hanabi's injuries in the first place and set out on a journey of self discovery on the fringe worlds. Hanabi would travel back to Tatooine to continue her studies and when she realized she was broke, and had never got her final medical qualifications meaning she couldn't start a practice. So she set out into the craggy lands, wastes and across the Dune Sea in search of her old survival mentor, the Jawa Imatuk. Her and Imatuk teamed back up right off the bat. Imatuk had no desire to hang around dealing junk the rest of his life like most Jawa did and wanted to see the rest of the universe. Maybe eventually some day retire to a giant palace. Bountiful Times The earliest records of Hanabi's bounty hunts was after her money ran dry on Tatooine. Having no desire spend years getting qualifications for skills she already had, and being quite the fighter and blaster jockey she took up Bounty Hunting for the local bondsmen of Anchorhead. She would take a bond and go out tracking down law breakers bringing them in for the money to eat hand to mouth. Eventually though the Galactic War would take a turn for the worse. One day heading to the bonds office she saw it being shut down, almost the same day the republic banners were being placed and she was told by the bondsman that the Republic had outlawed Bounty Hunting and had shut down his practice. The Houk Bondsman was her friend, so she agreed to help him get to Hutt space and she used her saved up mass of credits to buy herself an old broken down D5-Mantis, a model of extreme growing popularity in the booming bounty hunting industry despite it's supposed rarity. Upon arriving in Hutt Space she found the Hutts to be horribly dishonorable, disgustingly disloyal and an abuse to the structure she admired most in the universe, family. She talked the Bondsman into joining her and helping find her contracts as a member of her crew. Her first truly lucrative bounty, and the one that inspired her love for Bounty Hunting was an assignment to capture a runaway Sith Apprentice who had failed to kill his master. Hanabi had racked up the bounty to an extremely high price, easily fifty times what she made as bond hunter. So Hanabi, the Bondsman and Imatuk set out. Records of how it went down are hazy, but Hanabi succeeded in capturing target using her unorthidox combat training and style. She was injured in the process, but nothing she couldn't heal. And the apprentice was delivered back to his master alive. When it became known that Hanabi had succeeded, finding difficult jobs became easier and easier for her. And always seeking to justify her pay, and test her limits Hanabi rose through the ranks and reputation at a staggering pace. Frequently being hired by the Empire to hunt Jedi, guard important generals. One weird trait about Hanabi is how she didn't always collect her money. Or would give more for a project than she'd stand to make simply for the challenge. The times were fat, and good, and she was a growing star in the bounty hunting world. Was respected by the Mandalorians, The Empire and was becoming feared by the Republic. But one bounty in particular would make her a legend. Grand Master Eli Jeorik Hanabi now twenty years of age, came across a girl looking for help to get revenge for the death of her family. The girl Maya Vay had to be ten years old Hanabi guessed, Imperial dress, but no accent. She charged Hanabi with the task of hunting down Eli Jeorik for the murder of her father and uncle, her only living relatives. And Hanabi as the records called, charged her everything she owned for the task. The girl only owned a single old Durasteel coin with a square peg hole in the center as her advance and set to preparing for the confrontation with the Grand Master. She would spend the entire year preparing, gathering supplies, mustering her funds, stopping by Korroban to watch the Sith Train and to observe the use of the force and discuss with several of the instructors there the 'failings' of the light side. She also went to a private vault, where she withdrew her share of the Beskar left for her by her father, as well as his old Gauntlets and Boots. She used the Beskar in her own cybernetics and took the plating from her Father's Boots and Gauntlets to make her own. ENCRYPTED: ((OOC: Meta Game Knowledge Only)) Hanabi would eventually find herself as ready as she ever could be, outfitted and prepared for battle, she set out to do battle with the Jedi Master, Eli Jeorik. She tracked him down in republic space to Coruscant where she smuggled herself in as a refugee along the growing criminal underworld that was expanding into the depths of Coruscant's underbelly. She knew that Eli was going to head a mission into the underworld as an adviser to a squad of soldiers. She silently waited until the squad was wrapped up with the gangs to attack from amidst their midst. The soldiers weren't ready for someone of her caliber in the midst of the criminals. Expecting only small time thugs in at best, Plasteel, when she cut through the battle field towards the Jedi Master the soldiers couldn't even slow her. Hanabi fought through the soldiers briefly cutting past them engaging the Jedi Master. Tarena, who had been a part of that the backup Squad immediately set out after Hanabi but instructed the rest of the unit to keep cover on the gang who'd gained some ground at Hanabi's appearance. Alone against the Jedi Master and Tarena, Hanabi fought them, both being fully armored up couldn't identify each other as the flurry of Lightsaber Blades, blaster fire, and just fire covered the battle field. During the battle Hanabi had hit Tarena with a Cryogrenade and hit her in the head hard with her gauntlet covered hand knocking off her helmet, but when she saw her sister, she hesitated for the briefest moment, seeing her sisters face covered in shrapnel wounds, her blue eyes looking into her almost as if she could see through her mask. Hanabi couldn't bring herself to finish her opponent. Tarena however had taken the opportunity to shiv Hanabi in the side with her wrist gauntlet, which had only barely pierced the thick layers but left a sizable wound. Hanabi realizing she couldn't kill her own sister, or reveal her identity attacked the Jedi master head on using her Mandalorian Iron gauntlets to knock his sabers aside and leap off of the edge of the balcony to the levels bellow. Reports from here get sketchy, some who saw the battle report they saw Hanabi get stabbed through the stomach by the master's light-sabers. Others claim that didn't happen, that they were moving downwards too fast to clearly see. But Hanabi used her Jet-Pack to slow their fall enough for them to roll out, both deeply injured. No one witnessed that part of the battle to say how it went down. But in the end Hanabi came out the victor, her armored gauntlets scarred up and scorched and covered in lines, and the Jedi Master covered in multiple ion burns. Hanabi escaped through the Underworld holes she'd used to get in, with the Jedi Master captured and unconscious. When Hanabi arrived at her destination, Maya Vay's home. The Jedi Master recognized the place and was stricken by the irony. When Maya Vay stood face to face with the injured Jedi Master Hanabi had handed her the pistol and told her, plainly that she'd captured him as she'd demanded but that she was a bounty hunter, not an executioner and had left the room. Hours passed in silence while Hanabi waited outside, unable to hear the conversation that went within, eventually when the door opened, Maya came out, tears streaming down her face as she handed Hanabi's gun back to her. When Hanabi walked into the room, she found Master Jeorik sitting there silently, his hands still bound behind his back. Maya hadn't been able to kill the man in cold blood, and the hours spent had been spent with her coming to terms with what had happened in the war. For the Master, it was time spent answering, and witnessing the barely witnessed side of war. Facing the orphans of the enemies you were forced to slay. “This war is awful.” “I know.” “What happens now?” “I don't know.” Hanabi and Eli left the house heading out for the overgrown fields and they say there in silence. “How much did she pay you to capture me?” he asked. Hanabi smiled dryly, “Everything.” reaching over and untying his wrists. Hanabi gave Eli the coin she'd been given as payment. She left the master standing in the field, holding the coin. His lightsaber laying on the ground where she'd been sitting. When Hanabi returned to the home, Maya begged Hanabi to take her away from this world, that she had nothing left. And Hanabi took Maya under her wing. Upon returning to the spaceport Hanabi was confronted by Tsura, whom she hadn't seen in many years. There was only silence between them as they stared in each other's eyes. Recognition slowly dawning on their faces. Emotions long suppressed by Tsura seeming to rise up, and Hanabi herself almost tearing up at the sight. “Where?” “The Field...” Those were the only words exchanged as they passed each other quickly. Tsura had been sent to find the Jedi Master. To Hanabi, the experience was not only a fight near death, but it was also a spiritual one that would change the very way she looked at the world.
