  1. The OP is most likely a child, or special needs. Let them have their imagination. I think its pretty nifty top see utilized, and implimented, in SWTOR. No need to berate or knock them for it. OP? Cool story and imagination, keep it up
  2. ya, I know they are seperate games, but it was jsut an idea- sometimes certain ideas can merge together from differing games to make one better: hence SWToR going to a hybrid F2P model. Cant hate a man for thinking Heh, I thought it was a good idea atleast. In the end, you're right, I was too busy playing to focus hardcore on the forums, still am, this is like my yearly pilgrimage. once every say 6 monthes I'll pay attention to the forums, most of the time its too much QQ this or QQ that; I'm too busy enjoying the game. Speaking of which,.....back to my lvl 32 sent who just got the HK unlock from my 50 the otehr night...i just geared him up in current lvl items; going to go gie him a real test run here.... Also, I've been playnig this game since prerelease was a day one entry in that- remember the excitement? heh, the beta is closing dance offs ahhhh, memory lane. cannot believe it has almost been a year.
  3. maybe, some day, I will return to Eve. hell, i even miss being a "care bear" like I was my first 6 monthes in that game. I think next paycheck I will resub it- if nothing more- then to mine, and build up the awesomesauce of pvp skills within my skill points. I will admit- i love this game though, and hope it survives- but I guess you are right- this gme will never have "fleet riots" or even anything that closely resembled the days of old : BoB, or more so, the GOONS. heh. Atleast, untill the day I return to eve, I have my HK droid haha. and hey, when the day comes i return (as no one EVER truly leaves that game its like u can take a man out the hood but not the hood out the man; well the same goes for eve). your gunna make me shed a man tear. untill then. cheers m8, and BFF! P.S: how was the last hulkageddon? I still got my old eon amgazines and map book around here, somewhere.......
  4. your ship, is haunted. LOL awesome wish I had that glitch.
  5. STOP TEMPTING ME LOL. I miss my black widow and i miss my chimera and i miss the pvp. you almost make me want to go back to pirating. LOL. When u got a Black Ops build Widow all officer fit- its tempting not to just go sell my account. and then i remember: if for some reason my beloved star wars fails I have a 76 mil SP super cap capable awesome t3 /black ops/carrier pilot waiting for me. only downfall i have is in order to move my chimera it requires a second account and i just couldnt justify the 30 bucks a month to move my caps around at my own free will. This game does need to atleast tr to mirror the market system of selling time cards for in game currency though, it would balance out SO much
  6. I have an msi motherboard and I love it. but i run off an i3 with 16.0 GB RAM and this game is perfect. my vid card is a NVIDIA GeForce GT 430 too. over 2 TB HD space, 1 TB HDD. runs the game like a pro.
  7. Wrong, fully. Eve did ten time better when a player council represented the needs of the people because they were met, discussed, and developped for the most part. but council asside, the currency system base model of player purchsed and in game sellable subscriptions is stil a very very tangible idea, council angst asside.
  8. Heh, this game being SWTOR is why I left eve- to paly star wars- but I will say I miss my chimera daily........it was always fun ratting in a cap/super cap. but thats another discussion. I kind of left when the C fell apart, joined sedition, ahd a ton of fun, adn then chose SWTOR over Eve, I just think its a model that COULD work if the player base pushed for it, but you have a valid point there sir. Hell, I'd be ALL for dust 514 if it wasnt limited to the ps3, but i undertand why. But a plex like system and a player council i think would be the final push to pull this game out of all the negativity it holds.....which perplexes me, but thats also for another discussion lol.
  9. I will say, starting a fight as a dps with a stun on one opponent, and his "assassinate" ability makes HK one tough cookie, ya his gear is for lvl 50- but that can easily be remedied with droid parts off mkt that are moddable. That being said, at lvl 32- hk is my new favorite companion. wel worth the unlock, IMO as a side note: playing the sterotypical sith pure blood bad jedi- HK doesnt get md when I decide to do evil things, like, you know, choose to shoot people out of airlocks muahahhahahahahahaaaaa edit: forgot to mention- with the sme tier and level mods his dps is higher then my sent. in equal level and purple tier mods/gear. He is boss.
  10. I do not mean to suggest it is broken, so to say, but the current lackluster negatvity flooding what the limitations F2P has is what has prompted my thought process. Why would you think it is vile? so many people would be able to voice hat they wanted to their reps, and then the player council would meet with the devs and it would direct future positive development and fixing of certain bugs that are a major annoyance to a large part of the player populace. you know, "no taxation, without representation"? I'm not saying your idea is dumb, stupid, or calling you out in the least, but I do have a curiosity as to why you think a representative player base council is vile? edit: changed the title to more appropriately match the content of my OP, so as not to throw people off.
  11. Eve online hit the nail on the head with their content, for real: pay to play........or play to pay. Simply put, their game currency can buy subs that somone has previouslly purchased (called a pilots liscence), and it is on the mkt. Makes sence to me if BW did that. Then all the f2p people would have full content, the same as the "paid" people. Difference being: they are using in game currency to purchase game time that somone bought from the company and put into market to make credits. That is why, out of ALL of the MMO's in exsistence, EVE has the most stable of a player base, AS WELL as the most stable, real to life GTN (marketplace, whtever term you want to add). It discourages credit farmers because everything in game is based off of the value of those pilot liscences (PLEX)- and creates a VERY VERY stable economy as well as player base. I am a subscriber to this game((SWTOR)) (actually, since pre release, and remain so because I am a self admitted SW fan boy geek whos man cave is loaded with the old school toys, and yes; im 30, and the wife loves me just as much)- but, in the end, I believe the devs should look at how CCP runs their subscription system: that is- F2P if you play well enough. Sure , that idea may ruffle some peoples feathers, but it would give the devs more money, the market would be more stable, and the devs would listen to the people. ALSO: In such, there should be a council of players in this game that are voted on by the player base to represent their needs and wants( say maybe two per server), and the devs should listen to the players suggestions via said route. This, in the end, I believe, is what would stabilize this game. More money for devs and less angry players = more tangible development, a higher player base, and more so, happier players. Which in the end would equal more content and a more tangible based value to the in game economy as it would have a substantial backbone to balance out on. Just an idea

  13. Same happened to me on my lil 32-just bought the other cc store cunning gear....put those mods into droid parts from market and now he's a dps monster-LOL with same tier purple and lvl armoring/mods- his dps is higher then my sentinel! HK is boss!
  14. Hmmm- to further it- what about a side quest? I.E: For a force user, an add-on side quest to achieve the ability to utilize the force to calm specific beasts, on certain planets. For non force users, also a side quest but not a utilization of the force ability, but one called "beast tamer", or something simulair. then, when you want to ride a specific beast- you have to almost kill it, then stun/ subdue it after you gain the ability.
  15. Then, like anything in the game- if you dont like the item, dont use it. In this case of mounts, ride another. Problem solved. If it ruins your immersion, you are too critical.
