  1. Holy shizznit I didn't know there was a key binding for it, which i should since I spent hours in that menu keybinding half of the stuff in this game. Thanks, i'll look into that tonight!
  2. I enjoy playing combat medic, the style of healing is awesome and the fact that you can still DPS when you have some downtime from healing is cool also. though for a companion i would recommend Dorne, if you are healing and the droid is tanking, no one is left to DPS. also he is a bit squishy in hard fights. I have found Dornes healing is sufficient enough that I can focus DPS while using heals in between to keep myself topped off. But if you are dead set on having a tank companion, put in vic. he is a little less squishy, and doesn't require hard to find machine parts to keep up. as far as crew skills, I have cybertech, scav, and slicing (I have 2 guildies with UT) and the machine parts become obsolete relatively quickly until you get orange ones. but all in all any crewskill that seems interesting will work, though maybe not synthweaving and artifice...
  3. I am a combat medic for my group. I don't have any problems keeping the group alive, I love healing as a trooper it's pretty damn fun. Though I feel there are just 2 simple features missing from healing in general. One would be a simple mouse over healing function, it isn't terribly difficult to make F1-4 my group members and select them like that, but mouse over healing would definitely make using AMP on one member and switching to another to pop off MP much easier. The other function I feel is sorely needed, not just from a healing point of view but from DPS as well, is a target of target function. While focus is superb for keeping my tank my main target, being able to tell what the hell he is attacking while i'm able to do what little DPS i can is a chore at times when he is draped in 7 mobs. I was just wondering how everyone else felt about these two features or even if anyone has heard anything about them being added at some point.
  4. the chest, gloves and legs drop in taral v. I got all three on my first run of taral. the helmet is bought from hoth.
  5. I got my chest and legs from taral v. it's not called the same thing however but it is orange and pretty freaking cool. I still need the boots, though i believe it drops in taral as well.
  6. I believe I have a spare internetz around here for you sir.
  7. I did notice that the extra 5% alacrity was only giving me .1 second faster cast times on medical probe and other abilities, which felt like a waste of a point. but what about treated wound dressings? is it as useless as 5% alacrity? I was planning on taking ironsights as soon as I got bacta infusion, I assumed it was useful but not enough to wait on bacta infusion. thanks for the help. i think i'll get rid of first responder. I wonder if cell capacitor is a better bargain than treated wound dressings.
  8. Hey fellow commandos, I am looking for a little advice on my build. this is what I have so far at level 32 http://www.torhead.com/skill-calc#800bfRzRdcozZz.1 once I get armor screen and move up to bacta infusion i am not sure of which skills would be most useful from the gunnery tree. or if gunnery is even better for a main healer than assault specialist. I also can't tell if treated wound dressings is really helping me any. I was thinking of putting enough points into gunnery to get up to special munitions. but I also feel like target lock and soldier's endurance could be pretty useful as well. what do you guys suggest?
