With the changes to the Vig tree, at 44 I lost Plasma Brand and various focus saving/generating talents from the defense tree. With the increased cooldown on sunder armor, Vig at 44 feels very weak for both focus management and damage as I'm stuck using fillers much of the time. Curious if anyone else in the late leveling process feels the same way and if so, did you switch to focus or defense?

I just got Revel and I like the idea of a DPS companion burning down mobs with me (madness specced to Wrath and workign on lightning now). I mostly solo. While Revel's aoe is nice for regular packs of mobs, when I want to cc, I find that I need to take the following steps: 1. Click on the plus icon next to the companion bar to populate my lower center bar. This is annoying because several of my critical skills are found on the lower center bar. 2. turn off aoe skills. 3. turn off aoe stance. Start fight. While this is not that big of a deal, I was wondering if there was a better strategy for him.

Hi all... At 28 (just finishing Tattoine bonus quests), I have orange helm, hands, legs and chest. I was hoping to locate an orange belt or boots, but havent' seen one yet. The darkside vendor has boots, but they are heavy armor. I've never seen an orange belt. As I'd prefer to simply use orange gear and repalce the mods, I was hoping for some guidance as to where I can pick up orange boots or belts. Vendor is fine. But, if there is a pre-tattoine flashpoint or heroic that I could solo, that would be fine too. I'm not really a group player (I'm playing this game as if it were KoTOR III single player) so I'd need soloable content. If anyone knows, let me know.

Thanks. Now that I have Wrath, I think I'm going to work my way to Chain Lightning. I'll go back to Madness after.

I'm leveling madness now and about to switch to lightning to work up to chain lightning. Based on my experience, I'm not sure how you can skip Oppressing Force in the Madness tree. I find it invaluable for leveling and easily completing boss fights. A build with points in Madness that does not include Oppressing Force for leveling just doesn't seem to make a lot of sense to me. With 2 points in Oppressing Force, you can avoid the 2 points in the corruption tree as you will rarely, if ever, need to heal. Also, I have had 0 problems with force so I would avoid points in force generating abilities, for now. For what it is worth, my experience is based mostly on solo leveling. I cannot speak to FP's and Heroics though the ones I have done, have not been a problem.

I was debating putting 2 points into the talent that makes Whirlwind instant cast, but frankly don't think I really need instant cast Whirlwind at this point. Thus, it seems like time to start working my way through the lightning tree to pick up chain lightning. 99% of my game play is solo, if that helps. Any thoughts aobut the best time to switch or if there are any talents in the Madness tree that are considered indespensible beyond Wrath? Also, I finally made my way over to the dark side vendor on the fleet. I'd love to pick up a pair of orange gloves, but I only see orange gloves with heavy armor.
