  1. Elara Dorn - (Was initially annoying to me, but I grew fond of her voice and insecurity underlying her apparent confidence) Treek - (I find myself repeating this ewok companion out loud in my room all the time) HK-51 - (Not so much for an indepth story as much as the "cool" factor he brings!) Havoc Squad - (I enjoyed the trooper story line and visiting each member of Havoc Squad) Those are some off the top of my head.
  2. The thing that irritates me is I have 13 characters on Jung Ma which has one of the worst populations in the game. So if I want to play on a more populated server like Bastion so I can actually see a queue pop then I have to reroll and start all over again with a new legacy or pay a crazy amount of Cartel Coins for a server switch of only one of my toons for a problem that I shouldn't have to fix for Bioware. Don't get me wrong. This game is tons of fun and I support it. I don't walk around bashing it all day, but the server pop issue is killing it for my friends and I.
  3. Thanks for the insight and advice Darkov!
  4. I am trying to make this very same decision. My friend and I are going to role new toons on a more pop heavy server. I want to be a tank. I also want some fun dmg off-specs. -Assassin/Shadow: I have played this and it is super fun. Stealth adds some cool utility and solo-able things no one else can do. Front facing/insta-cast 'Maul' and 'project' are awesome. -Guardian/Juggernaut: I have no idea but it looks a little more boring than the other two. Everyone loves 'masterstrike'. -Powertecht/Vanguard: I have only played this as a tank for one flashpoint and I found it pretty fun. 'Railshot' is the coolest sounding ability in the game hands down. All three are viable and cool which makes the decision harder, not easier. It would be easy if one stood out leagues above the rest.
  5. The title says it all. The saber is crooked coming off the hilt by a few degrees. You can verify this ingame or look at the various pictures taken of it. An example is the picture on Dulfy's site: http://dulfy.net/2013/02/12/swtor-relics-of-the-gree-event-guide/ I own this saber ingame and it's difficult to use it on a guardian when you see them carrying a crooked weapon. =)
  6. (I have scanned the web for anyone else mentioning this and found nothing) - The Gray helix Lightsaber from the Gree event is crooked coming off of the hilt. It is not straight. It is several degrees off. I never noticed it until I used it on my Guardian who holds his saber upwards at all times. It is quite maddening to stare at a crooked saber for hours at a time. If you have OCD tendencies avoid getting this saber for a guardian. You won't notice it on other saber wielders. There is a picture of it on Dulfy's guide to the Gree event: http://dulfy.net/2013/02/12/swtor-relics-of-the-gree-event-guide/ - Another more well known bug is that the saber loses it's special effect and reverts to a generic saber appearance after casting certain abilities, turning in quests, and completing certain tasks with your saber drawn. This can be fixed by pressing 'Z' to sheathe your weapon then pressing 'Z' again to unsheathe your weapon. - FUN FACT: The Gray Helix Lightsaber is one of the longest, if not the longest, lightsabers in-game. It is a good in-game foot longer than almost any other saber you'll find. Its one of the reasons I still use it despite the bugs. Hope this helps some make a decision on what Gree event weapon to purchace. Good luck and may the force be with you.
  7. Same for Sogan's armor. I feel like these bugs have been around forever like the companions 'hide-helmet' during cutscenes and etc but nothing is ever done about them. Years go by and nothing lol...
  8. So many sarcastic people lol. Many times I've desired to play a class with a different weapon. A shadow with 1h lightsaber or a commando with a blaster rifle instead of that gigantic cannon that sits more above my head than on my back. What the OP is saying is not far from what many of us have desired. I REALLY wish they'd open up companion weapon choices as well. Stupid techstaffs...
  9. /agree with OP Stunwars, haha! SO TRUE! I unsubscribed today before my first free month was even done. I am not that hard to please, but they lost my subscription in one month! I quit because PvP sucks for so many reasons the OP already went over. Biggest complaint for me is spending +50% of every PvP match stunned and CC'd. Bioware's fix: Add another warzone to their broken PVP.... My response: Wth? Is anyone even listening to us?
