  1. STOP TROLLING... ... are there really going to be mini-games? Awesome! Star Wars wasn't just action and cool cut-scenes. There was more to it. The movies had LIFE happening around the action. Racing, gambling, cards, games, sports ... all of those things were in the movies and they made the movies more real. Why would you not want it in your MMORPG gameplay? It's an aspect of the Star Wars universe. As for "NOT RESEARCHING LUL" I read the immediate posts on the front page and watched the trailer. I didn't see anything in this way mentioned. I think that's all I needed for due diligence. If everyone thoroughly researched everything before they asked a question there wouldn't be many questions left. So as the other guy said .. stop trolling and putting other people down. It only makes your ***** smaller. And no girls out there like a small *****. Or guys, if you swing that way. Unless maybe pedophiles ... as it would represent a younger ... HAHA. Anyone have a link to these mini-games or mention of them? Thanks in advance!
  2. I was told to suggest here, so here goes. Where's the mini-games? You guys haven't tapped into it yet and as far as I know most other MMORPG's barely scratch the surface. Millions of people play simple games on Pogo.com and similar sites. Why aren't you guys tapping into this player-base? It's huge. And there are lots of categories to choose from that are all applicable to Star Wars. Sebacc, other card variants, 3D monster chess, betting on races (speeder and random), participating in races, SPORTS, pets with customizable features and the ability to train them new tricks, player controlled npc's (setting up their own shops via droid / personal npc), more ship customization and freedom, etc. I'm sure you see where I'm going with this. The Star Wars universe is huge and all of these things apply to it lore-wise. Customization / immersion features are what a LOT of gamers (especially MMORPG gamers) want from their games. ADD SOME OF THIS STUFF! P.S Also my GF told me to ask for tawn-tawn riding. (those furry guys from hoth that snort and get eaten by monsters that try to kill luke ... but you can't kill luke, because he's a jedi duh).
  3. A lot of people were hoping that SWTOR would implement a lot of the old best features from SWG. Otherwise known as a huge SWG upgrade as we were all aware how outdated the game was in terms of graphics / gameplay systems. A lot of people are disappointed. Why not do a good thing for the player environment? Why would they not be interested in applying game changes that the player base is very interested in? Game changes that would make the game more enjoyable in terms of player progress and customization. It's what the majority of us want in an MMO. It's a smart move. It's no different than adding other new content except in place of making new planets or new areas in this case you only need to ADD to existing space (like say the major cities for housing and certain open areas between). Bioware wants this game to succeed and these sorts of features that made SWG amazing is the ammunition they need.
  4. A lot of people are for this but we really need the numbers and support. I'm going to direct my gaming friends and guild members to come here and voice their opinions as well and those interested should do the same! There are lots of ways they can implement this. I understand what's being said when the game is like a "hall-way". I was thinking about the apartment idea but really the PLACE you put your house is also of importance. Finding that ideal place or building up a guild community etc ... that's an important aspect. And not impossible ... This game can be added and added and added to. It's not something out of Bioware's reach! We just need to make it an issue. They want us to keep playing and adding useful options like these that the PLAYER BASE wants ... things that create ownership and importance for us in game ... is the way to a successful game! Keep up the good work guys. PLAYER HOUSING PLEASE!!!!!!
  5. SWTOR offers so much in the kind of gameplay a lot of us enjoy including new systems like the story line with video etc. However, in my opinion, SWG had a lot of things RIGHT too. Like as you've probably already guessed player housing. A lot of people want this. Bioware is interested in what we want. So let's make it a point. Those interested in Player Housing please respond here with your ideas / opinions. We might as well get the ball rolling now! Cheers.

    Auto target SPIN = FAIL

    None of this matters. Why, in all of your theorycrafting, is the ranged person sitting there casting while a melee is on them? If I have melee on me with interrupts and good use of stuns I'm doing something wrong. Kite, kite, and more kite. I only stop if it's apparent no matter what they do my free cast is enough to finish them before they can finish me, which usually means I have a significant advantage in HP. The only reason I could see this as legitimate QQ would be if a caster can outdps a melee while both cast continuously on each other using their applicable CC as well ... which would be almost obsolete as a caster because caster CC focuses in large part on "the kite" while melee focuses on the control of an in range target. Am I missing something obvious?
