  1. If what I was told is correct the title and point in the meta-achievement were both present on the PTS. Blackhole and Section X both have titles/achievements currently, both are dailies areas just like CZ. I know for sure that my guild committed to taking CZ and were well into the process before anyone noticed they had been removed. To make matters more pertinent we were locked in a pretty intense battle to win the planet and consumed a lot of resources we might have otherwise sat on. The news that there was no title/achievement, and now the update that we may or may not get it retroactively, has been a huge blow to morale from what I've seen. The possibility that we'll have to reconquer a planet we already invested so much in is not appealing at all. It may not be a game breaking bug in that the game won't work as is, but it has certainly turned some of our players away from Conquest in general. So either the info I got from my guildie is incorrect or your supposition is wrong. Either way it sounds like you have no personal investment in the topic and are just looking to troll it up, because your comment seems to add nothing of real value to the discussion.
  2. Members of WOOK have been asked not to queue dodge. As far as I am aware none of our groups are currently in the habit of doing this. If this is happening please feel free to contact us using our forums at Wookieeroar.com. Allegations accompanied by evidence in the form of screen shots or stream replays would be a good way of ensuring action on the part of our officers.
  3. I am an officer in WOOK. If you have complaints about specific events, individuals, or groups please feel free to contact us through our forums at Wookieeroar.com. We have active policies in place designed to ensure fair gameplay by all of our members. Sometimes events are not brought to the attention of those in our guild that are capable of taking actions to prevent their continuation. If someone has legitimately mistreated you please let our officers know and we will investigate the issue. However, if your only intent is to slander a group of players that beat you in warzones consistently I would suggest finding a group of your own to queue with. Redirect your frustration at losing into efforts to improve your experience. One of the advantages of being in an active guild is increased opportunities for organized PVP groups. Queuing two groups of four is not against any game rule, does not guarantee a combined eight person warzone, nor is it generally considered poor form by reasonable players.
  4. I'm sorry if this sounds douchey, but I my intent is constructive input. I just wanted to say that I was in a similar situation to the one you appear to be in. We had a launch guild that started strong. As the year progressed we lost players to other games like D3 and GW2. At the end we were down to 8 active raid members. Close knit, we were reluctant to do anything but absorb other guilds. Therein lies the problem though. As a guild of 8 it makes more sense to be absorbed rather than do the absorbing. Like you we had a four tab guild bank, 150ish alts in guild... we were the skeleton of what used to be an active guild. Once we finally realized this we joined a larger guild. Each of us left an alt behind so our old guild still exists and was a safety net if things didn't work out. Long story short, we have had more fun in the last few months than we ever did as an isolated team of 8. It is easier to fill empty spots. We get to run through stuff with our alts. Way more opportunities for fun. Moreover I think we've helped improve the guild we joined. Our team still runs together and the experience we've gained grinding out PVE content is being passed on to other players. Really the best choice we could have made for our guild. Our original guild was Pariah from Elysium. Now we are WOOK. 450+ alts; 35+ active players many nights of the week. We have excellent leadership in our GM and officers. Most members are helpful and excited to play. As far as I know we are not actively recruiting, but we do not often turn away motivated, friendly players. If joining us is something you might be interested in you can contact us via: http://www.wookieeroar.com/.
  5. Last night, a Thursday, WOOK had 40 players online. Two raid groups and two or three pvp groups in addition to players leveling and socializing. Your assumptions about how other guilds are organized and running are a little off base, at least in our case. Nothing leads me to believe we are looking to change the way we operate. Thanks for the concern though... I guess. This is the main issue that Jakees should be concerned with. If you are in a guild that has 5 active players on at any given time your guild should not be doing the absorbing, but rather should be absorbed by a larger, more active guild. The guild I was in had a single 8 man team, we merged with WOOK before F2P, and have been having much more opportunities for fun since. All it really took was for us to realize that our tight-knit, launch guild would benefit from the resources of a larger player-base. We left some alts in our original guild, but are all really happy to have moved. My suggestion is to find a larger guild that is up for a merger and move single characters at first to test the waters. All that aside, to join WOOK you need a member to sponsor you currently. As far as I know we are not actively seeking mergers. If you'd like to contact any of us directly try http://www.wookieeroar.com/. Want to know if there is room in one of our PVP premades or need a player to fill an empty spot in your group? Send one of us a tell, most of us are pretty helpful and easy to get along with. Good luck and have fun!
