  1. It's not that we've never seen such a thing, but that it's shocking to see it outside of beta in a major MMO produced by a giant studio. This is basic functionality that they knew months ago was not ready for release, that they had ample examples from competition to base their designs on, and that ties in to one of the major selling points of the game (the novelty of companion-based crafting). The current market is unacceptable.
  2. I'm curious about this as well. I have noticed that the missions I've gained from item drops seem to have an internal cooldown, but I haven't actually timed any of them to see how long it is.
  3. Wow, I wasn't aware it was THAT bad. Perhaps it's by design that current top gear crafted gear is inferior, and I'm fine with that, but one day?
  4. Fixing the Galactic Market will do a lot for demand for crafted items. Lots of people hate grinding out their gear and would rather buy it than farm dungeons/commendations, but choose the latter anyway right now because the AH is so bad. Once the interface is improved and the system is truly "galactic" (i.e. you can see all items up for sale on your faction) you'll see a lot more buyers AND sellers.
  5. If they want crafting skills (rather than slicing) to be a legit source of income, they need to fix the AH. The fact that it's this bad at launch is shocking to me.
  6. Agree with OP 100%. The existing animations have grown on me somewhat (especially Project), and I really wouldn't mind them if they were upgraded to make sense in all environments. However, I definitely think "pure force" moves are more interesting and thematically correct for the light side. Wanton property destruction is not how Jedi should roll.
  7. IDK if "patient" is a good description for me cause I'm SO EXCITED WOOOO! But I'm definitely content and not at all mad at Bioware for doing their release this way. It's totally fair, and it's almost exactly what I expected. The one area they could have improved would be giving an approximate timeframe for individuals (IE sometime between 12/13 and 12/15) but I understand why they chose not to go that route. Everyone I know who got in reports no wait times or instability. To me, staggered release is by far the better option.
