We were also able to loot by giving the assigned player lead.

We aren't referring to the gear being assigned. We were referring to the fact that the chests bug and people are unable to loot their assigned gear. We had a topic change mid thread if you had read it.

We found tonight that with Master Looter on, we had an issue with people being able to loot their items. We ended up giving the players lead and therefore Master Loot, and then they were able to loot. So until they fix the bug, you could give that a try!
