To OP: this was one of the reason why I unsubscribe :-) (I am still playing:-) But I need a break to see how BW will continue with SWTOR) There is a lot of great things in 1.2 (UI change, legacy etc.) And for me also lot of things which I really dont expect Instead of making game more skill based they make it gear based, because difference between war hero and recruit is too big. (even between recruit and BM). Playing WZ wont be fun at all if difference is so big. If recruit gear will be similar to current champions gear with increased expertise. I think that it will be fine. I even thing that BM gear should be maximum 4 item level difference but its 6 ... etc...

I still dont understand this change. 1) they are trying to show legacy feature (playing alts should be fun) 2) they introduce so horrible PvP grinding that I dont want to play anymore and you have no chance to play alts if you dont want to play for 10+ hours per day. I will never say anything if there will be gear grind required and they have cross server queues with more tiers based on average item level.
  3. My hope was that the game will be about skill and not about gear. Right now I know that it will be just gear grind and nothing else:-( Really sad because it looks so promising and I really thing that I will play it for long time There was voices that it will be less gear dependent etc and they made it even more gear dependent? So for new 50 the game will be absolutely unplayable and it wont be fun event for WH (maybe for some of them). The sad is that even WH will join unrated WZ which will make it unplayable, if they cannot access unrated WZ based on item level rating or something like this... it will be fine
  4. To be honest, I think that medpac should be used in PvP at all, together with stims etc. The only thing which should be allowed is reli :-) (at least in ranked PvP). In unranked let anyone use what he want:-) For PvE it should be usable ...
  5. WittyRaevyn: I think you sum it great... I will just add one idea I think that it will take some times to implement cross server warzones but... I think that it would be great idea to satisfy all players. 1) Create cross server queue 2) Leave also one server queue Everyone can choose what he wants and it should be hard to implement because they will leave old queue system and just add new one:-) Or another possibility is to use some smart matching but I would prefer option which I wrote above... It will allow more tier, it can allow also split warzones based on gear etc.

  7. real PvP players will come back if they introduce this changes ... the players who cant play will leave, because they simply need something to be able to defeat players with skill
  8. this is exactly what I think .... great post :-D I must say that I want to cancel my subscibtion because SWTOR looks like all grind (gear) based games like wow, rift etc... Right now I am really looking for PvP in 1.2
  9. I love when I dont need to grind gear and I can play PvP to improve my skills (my own) and instead of better gear I have better flexibility .... The game which should be about flexibility and not grind should release soon (not GW2, but GW2 will be similar and it wont be about gear) :-))))) You will receive more and more skills and you can tweaks your builds but your original build is still strong and should be comparable to someone else who invest more time but have better posibilities to change the build or play something different..... But who knows, maybe it will be about gear .... again....
  10. If it will work I will definitely take it. More crit = more healing, more focus, more damage (+6% is +3% of damage or more with higher surge rating) Accuracy = 3% to melee attacks which is 3% more damage :-) (I think that force attacks have 100% accuracy so i see no reason for go over 100% I would say that for watchman it should be valuable ... because the spec is based on criticals ... (of couse most of the time we will use zen ...) The problem is that from bonus to force attacks will benefit probably less skills than from accuracy so its hard to decide... or put the points somewhere else...
  11. Does overload saber and cauterize benefit from insight increased critical rating on force attacks or not? first hit from cauterize is physical but what about dot? and for overload saber I dont know ... can anybody advice?

I have Scoundrel, Commando, Sage, Shadow, Sentinel and Sentinel is definitely the funniest class to level up and of the best class to PvP (The problem is that sometimes it can be really horrible) Commando is grav round spammer and its so boring... (strong but boring) Scoundrel is fun and its not a bad class but even with him you have really hard time against any class with interrupt. Its nice that you have a lot of instant cast but you have one real big heal and you will never cast it against good enemy (ok you will cast it after dirty kick and flash grenade) Sage is strong - you can move and do a lot of damage and even sometime heal and you have so much energy - at least balance spec Shadow is fine but sentinel is simply funnier Sentinel have crazy damage output (at least watchman spec) I can have a lot of solo kills, the most of the killing blow from my team - most of the time I have more killing blows than all my team together :-) The only problem is that it can be problem to achieve it and its much harder than stand and spam grav round with nearly same result .... And to be honest .... when I play my scoundrel and I can see mara or operative attacking me I know that I have a problem and it will be hard ...
  13. The problem is that tank have advantage over DPS and Heal etc.... I will show just easiest medals HEAL 2.5K, 75K heal most of the time you receive also killing blow, 75K damage, 10 kills HEAL: 2 medals easily, 3 medals more harder because you are not doing your job and take care about something else. (sometime this is usuful, when all people have full health bar, sometime you shouldnt do it and you should heal) (you can receive one more for use of consumables (5K heal)) DPS 2.5K, 75K damage, killing blow, 10 kills, 25 kills 5 medals easily (you can receive 2 more by use of consumables 2.5K heal and 5K heal) TANK 2.5K, 75K damage, killing blow, 10 kills, 25 kills, another 3 for protection 8 medals easily (you can receive 2 more by use of consumables 2.5K heal and 5K heal) and this is problem!!! if you are filling objectives and the game is long enough to do heal and damage 300K+ the number of medals is raising and you can also achieve 5K heal and 5K hit (but I want to show just easy medals)
  14. the problem is that if you completely remove medals and people will receive more valor just for victory it will be frustrating for people who will play against premade... Right know PUG can receive at least something.

Great proposals and it needs to be done ASAP :-) especially the rewards gain and no advantage for losing side is right now the PROBLEM number one which needs to be solved and players will leave. I can hear really upset guildmates every day on TS. Its new game and it cannot be perfect so I hope they will be patient and dont cancel the subscription. I played many games from the beginning so I know that we cannot expect everything at beginning. of course It is not so easy, but it would be fine if at least some bioware employee reply and tell us .... yeah we know that current system is big problem and we need to change it
