  1. Not bad making sure there is somewhat of a group composition requirement would be a good thing. Nothing like going into battle with no healers when your oponent has some.
  2. Huttball is amazing. Except for getting grappled into fire pits. That is OP. It is basically a 1 shot button. I believe go good fix would be to grant who ever was grabbled 100% resolve so that they cannot be stunned immediately after. You make take some damage but u at least move out of the fire. I know peeps will say what about knockbacks, stunning in the fire etc. Those take skill and can be avoided. Passing through the fire, leaping over the fire getting pulled over the fire. Knock backs take timing and positioning. Grapple is just wait for resolve to be ideal and bam. 1 shot kills. That easy. Peeps say save ur cc breaker. CC breaker is 2 mins long and grapple isn't the only thing i need to worry about. In a PVP match I played it was the game winner. We clearly would of won the game if it wasn't for grapple. I was killed 7 times personally by grapple. Game was grappled to death.. they get the ball we defend and get it back.. fight our way up towards the endzone.. 1 shot. That one move was the game winner.
  3. It is OP period. CC breaker is 2 mins long. U use it to get through the fire. Or out of the acid or away from the mob. Only to get pulled to the fire for a one shot kill. Now we aren't talking about noobs here. We are talking about people good at what they do. With the range for the pull they just wait for ur resolve to go down and pull u into the fire. 1 shot kills. Personally I can tell you that as a ball carrier in one match I was prob killed 7 times that way. With force leap or knock backs that I have require perfect timing and positioning to kill them in the fire. Smart Ballcarriers avoid crossing through the fire pit period. Passing over it, leaping over it, getting pulled over it. How do u componsate for getting pulled into the fire effortlessly?
  4. I agree it is basically a 1 shot button. I understand other classes can put into the fire with knock backs but those take skill. It requires timing and positioning to do so. Just pulling people into the fire for a 1 shot is definitly op. A fix for this may be to grant 100% resolve after it is used. This will keep people from being stunned in the fire. They may take damage but they can move out of it.
  5. I only like Huttball. Other 2 just don't do anything for me. I am not a fan of WZ/Battlegrounds per say. Win or lose it does not achieve anything. Map does not change. Nothing happens. People don't take it sersiously and in some cases it is just a complete joke. I like the Wintergrasp style of PVP. Every 2 hrs the battle taking place some place different. The map changing as battles are decided. It should be the main focus if u ask me. If u watch the SWTOR videos u see the intensity of the war between the empire and the republic but when u play the game nothing is there. I made a suggestion previously about world pvp. Every 2 hrs some place different. Make a battlegroup of servers. This well help fill the ques and also componsate for poor ratios that some servers may have.
  6. I find I am spending to much time doing the pvp dailies. For example the PVP dailies take roughly 2 hrs to do. 15 mins a match u need 3 wins to get the daily that is 45 mins. If u win all of them. However if u go 50/50 u are looking at 1.5 hrs to complete the daily. There is other things I would like to do but I am spending to much time doing these. Why not just do something else? Because I am trying to get BM gear which the drop rate is extremely low especially for the effort put into completing the daily. Huttball Issue - Still falling through the floor at times. (Huttball is awesome btw please make more of these arena type matches.) Voidstar- If the attacker is first and does not breakthrough any doors when defending the game should end as soon as the enemy has broken through the door. Why waste 6 mins etc on playing a match that is decided already.
  7. I didn't realize they were doing class opposites. That would be interesting.. I can't really say what my class opposite would be. But still a tank going down in 5 - 10 secs really? For a previous poster.. I am very experienced if PVP played in WOW successfully. Started the game a shadow priest... it was a poor pvp class that finally got buffed and I was unbeatable practically.. to the nerf making it sucky again.. where then I used my dual spec and played Disc which I found to be viable but was never stated to be OP while i played it. It was actually a fairly difficult class to play.. not a big healer but had alot of utility had to be very aware. Mana burn, Mind control, fear, Dispells, pain supression, etc Did it all, arena, rated bg, World PVP (wintergrasp and tol barad ( tol barad sucks btw mindless circle jerk) I enjoy PVP I am just tired of flavour of the month... from the sounds of the forums.. it's never gonna end. =(
  8. I already made the suggestions on illum. Starting with scrapping it all together. As for balancing I never said it was easy. I am sure it is a challenge but I am sure these guys are supposed to be competent at their job.. There is a team of them right?? Getting paid big bucks? Have groups of testers? This game has been in the works since what 2005?
  9. I have to disagree.. as a tank all defense spec.. I don't expect to do alot of damage I don't expect to be able to heal. Heck I really don't expect to kill anything. I do expect however to be able to take a good beating. Now when I am getting smoked by a scoundral in 5-10 secs with defensive cool downs with BM/Champion gear something is really wrong.

  11. Getting tired of the whole flavour of the month BS etc. I realize my frustration is being carried from previous MMOS but Honestly can any MMO get it right? Honestly? WOW even after 5 years still can't get it right. Are people in the Gaming industry that incompetent? It's not even close to balanced. It's like its done purposely... really how incompetent can they be? Create a false sense of working on things to give a people a sense of value for their money? Or flavour of the month and get people to play different classes? Either idiots or gotta be something else. What is it?
  12. It would be a choice. If you choose to bet then you will be with others that bet. More challenging and rewarding.
  13. I absolutely love Huttball. It is very exciting and tense at times. I would love to see more warzones like this. I do have a qq though. I can't remember the class but here goes. This class and pull you into the fire. I think that ability is way to op. They might as well have a 1 shot icon. I know other classes can roughly do the same with knock backs etc.. but those take skill. It takes timing, placement and positioning to get them into a hazard whereas others just pull u into the fire effortlessly. I would like to suggest the possibily of betting on Huttball matches. E.G. Placing 5K on a Huttball match. This would allow for some more exciting hutball games where people will be focused.. Brackets can be Random and Premade. If you win you get ur 5k back, 5k from the opposition and 5k from the Hutts (as u get currently) 15K total. If you lose.. you lose ur 5k. We are talking about the Hutts after all.. gambling is life there. I really like these games within a game. I would really like to see more like this. Please be creative. Maybe even a nasty Pod racing type of a match.
  14. My opinion on the Battle for Illumi is that it is very poor. It is basically just a gank fest with good battles few and far between. Also farming for arms is totally boring.. just zipping in circles for a hr. It is totally not fun. I would like to suggest World pvp to be more like Wintergrasp in WOW. (Tol Barad sucks it is just a circle jerk and is brainless) Wintergrasp but better. A suggestion would be a city divided into 3 parts where the pool of players comes from a battlegroup of 5 servers. Which part of the city you get assigned to is random. This will do several things 1 - keeping the battle different instead of the same thing over and over like it was with wintergrasp for years ( the battle itself is 3 different zones. ) 2 - with the multiple servers hopefully componsate for poor ratios that some servers have 3 - more people to draw from to fill the ranks. The battle to take place every 2 hrs.. add more in the future so that every 2 hrs the battle will take place some place different. This will be better then WOW because it made wintergrasp obsolete with the introduction with tol barad thus you were still stuck doing the same thing over and over again. Further suggestions maybe that when 1 part of the city falls a announcement be made to the other 2 sections thus creating a natural momentum or defensive buff. Make the objectives interesting. Wintergrasp felt like a battle whereas tol barad I felt like I was just running in circles and it was just a zergfest. I think this type of gameplay will be win in a MMO. It creates the feeling of war. Your wins and losses affect the game as the map changes. Warzones can be fun but they can also be fustrating and pointless. Win or lose nothing changes.. people don't take it seriously and do not focus on objectives. World PVP I believe is win. It provides continuous content. It also goes with the focus of the game. Sith vs Jedi. In WOW you see that it's the Horde vs Allaince yet that battle is always minimal and backburner.. Horde and Alliance always having to team up and work together to save the world. So much for a war.
  15. So u guys are saying that guys who just hit 50 are gonna get into a good premades or are you saying new lvl 50s could get together and form a premade? New 50s against established 50s? You think that is fair? What if you don't have time to run a premade. You got 30 mins to play? Do you want to spend half or all of it setting up a good premade to compete. Random should be random. I played WOW rateds. I am not afraid to play good teams. I just don't believe beating down people effortlessly to be fun. Being outnumbered in a post like this does not mean anything to me. I can remember in WOW how much TWINKS cried like babies because they were getting their own bracket. They actually had to play against equally good players. They were crying so bad... what to u mean we grief players.. we help them.. we teach them how to play the game.. lol yea right.. Babies.. I am not afraid of competition.
