I recall I was on my Op on DK at about 14 (you know, when I had...um. Yeah.) so I grouped up for a heroic quest and I used snipe and darts and whathaveyou. Some oh-so helpful Sorc decided to get pissy and tell me that I am a Melee character and that I was hurting the group. So I, of course, got pissy back and asked him what the hell he thought I should be using at level 14 to do decent melee damage. Silence descended upon party chat. My scoundral was on Taris and again, I'm in a group. At this stage I have back blast to work with and weave that with kicks and whips, but when all of these things are on cooldown I do in fact crouch down and shoot at things. Beats standing around going 'Derp derp', you know? And I say this as someone who is in the fact the melee spec. I ask you, was the Ops/Scoundrel the melee spec? Do you actually know what they were, or did you just assume for the sake of assumptions? Were they using melee abilities and then strafing back out of range? (I do this on my gunslinger. Sharpshooter is oh so boring, sometimes a girl needs to kick things or smack them with her gun to keep herself awake.)

Not Nutty Bars man! It's not their fault that Twinkies lag behind them so much, it is clearly the fault of the people who make them. Twinkies and Nutty Bars need to band together and demand to be made as good as those damn smug HoHos.

That is not a nerf, it's a 'fix', at best.

My strat for this: Curse because it makes me take Kira. Sigh, talk to my level 50 Knight friend. He tells me a very important fact about the companion requirement. I go in, let the guy kill me, rez, run off into the corner and summon T7. Leap in and thrash Valis.was 2 levels under level at the time. I did have to eat one death in order to summon T7, but since Kira was still in her base gear/I hate the sound of her voice it was worth it. Jedi+TeeSeven=Best Friends.

I tried this at 31, on my shadow, and every time he's resist my interrupt, then resist my knockback, and then I'd try my stun, but by then my poor lizard was dead. Vanish, restart while using my heroic moment, same issue. Tried it with the healer instead, ran into the same problem. He just likes to lolresist everything I throw. Even if I use my stun right away, before death happened I was still sol for the next channel. I didn't think a 3 level difference would cause so many resists but Random is Random I suppose. I ended up rage quitting and deciding to leave my shadow on Vivicar's ship forever. It's entirely too much of a hassle to deal with when I've already leveled 3 characters to 50.

Well I got it at 43ish, but it's after that quest. And the poem was, to be honest, not nearly as well formatted as some would think. But still sweet, in a very Corso way.

This thread pleases me. Corso is my boy, my bridge candy, and the companion I've toted from 9(ish) to 47. Guss has come out to play occasionally, but He doesn't like my devil may care, run into danger laughing lifestyle, where as Corso is happy as long as I don't die. The only companion who comes close to Corso is Revel, who appeals to me in a different way (My Smuggler has her cute farmboy and my Inquis has her dirty pirate. All is right in these scenarios) I know a lot of people are all about that hairy wookie, but for me no one can hold a candle to Corso. And I like his poetry.
