  1. This is pretty far wrong, too. The IA is definitely NOT a spy. The IA fits the role of agent provocateur far better than he does the role of spy. (My most advanced IA just arrived on Alderaan, but it doesn't seem likely that the IA story will do anything at all spy-ish.)

Play through the entire story before you comment on it. The IA has arguably the most interesting story, and you're missing out if you don't play it.

  2. How old are you? What are your normal play times? Republic or empire? Any info about your play style would be helpful as well are you hardcore or casual? What are your goals as you level (flash points and ops or pvp) fill us in :-)

^ pretty much this. Can't work with you if we don't have more info

  3. In a way, we're all learning English, as it is an ever-evolving cesspool of a language.

    Back on topic.

The age restriction is there for a reason. It is to protect the older guild members from potential legal ramifications. In my guild, we do discuss topics that are considered inappropriate for people under the age of 18, in vent and in guild chat, especially when we all get drunk and play. Make no mistake, it's not to protect you. It's to protect us.

  4. For the heroic adventurer on the move, having a static place of residence is impractical. You have to pay someone to keep an eye on it while you're off for months, even years at a time, gallivanting across the galaxy, else you run the risk of something going wrong, like your gas leaking and causing a cataclysmic explosion. You also need to pay someone to tend the lawn, else the HOA will be on your case about lowering their property value. In a nutshell, home ownership is a pain when you're not living there 90% of the time. That is why one's ship is as much a home as it is a way to get around.
  5. That's why I said 'more playable' and didn't resort to hyperbole.

Your retort seems to imply that if the game didn't accept input from a mouse, you would be fine with that, as everyone would be in the same boat.

Maybe, just maybe, the current state of the game at whatever point in time you're responding to a thread, isn't the most perfect of design and implementation. And maybe, there are deficiencies that reasonable people can rightfully expect to be addressed.

The problem I see is that by your description, the current state of targetting is completely gamebreaking and that the only thing that will save it is mouse over macros. I can understand if you just can't live without them, but the casual player who just wants to enjoy the game doesn't really care, and would prefer additional content and fixes to all the crap that's bugged. The point is, there are things that are a far higher priority than little macros.

  6. My point is they said no macros in game but then endorse a device to make them.

Certainly it cant be that hard for you to grasp?

Nah, I get it. I'm just playing Devil's advocate and trying to get you riled up. It's just one of the ways I keep myself amused while I'm at work and can't play. The other services I offer are sarcasm, snark, and polite condescension.

On another note, Bioware can do whatever the hell they want, and whether or not you think it makes sense is irrelevant.
