I thought maintenance would be a good time to show a little gratitude. I'm not a fanboy or anything, just your average Joe Casual gamer.
When I pre-ordered the game (on Nov. 27, during the Thanksgiving beta-test weekend), I really didn't expect to get to play before Dec. 18, at best. I got in yesterday, and for that I thank you.
Waiting feverishly for my access reminded me of how I used to be as a 6 year old 3 days before xmas. I'm 42 now (and yes I saw "A new hope" when it came out in '77, in a theatre), how often am I going to get in touch with my former inner self like that? For that too, I thank you.
While waiting for access, I (like many others) browsed the forums and hit F5 like a madman, and many times found myself laughing out loud at someone else's anecdote, witty comment or tongue in cheek humor. I hope this community blossoms. And for that I thank you too.
Once I got access, I couldn't help but notice how smooth my experience was - no queuing for mobs or quest items, etc., which I believe is directly related to the decision to stagger early access invites. Thanks for that.
Finally, and most importantly, thanks for making this extremely enjoying game.
