Vesper is cool as it gets, 99% of the time he keeps his head down and just grinds WZ's for fun. There are probably only a few that WZ as much as Vesper, and I'm certain even fewer contain their frustrations as well as he does. OP, you made your point, and others piled on, but he's a consistent top sniper on the server like it or not.

Today, as I was getting repeatedly annihilated by Pub, I got a massive hit. At first I thought I had hit the guy for only 1.5k. I was wrong. Bioware must have been watching and felt sorry for me. I'd like to agree, but if you have 2 smash spec vs a smash /sorc, they just rape the sorc instantly. two 7.5k hits with 4k(non crit) follow up, each = 23k, in less than 2.5 seconds. Sorcs are nothing more than fun to play. They get raped.

The answer is always, YES. Take the top Imp players on your server. Duel your best DPS Sorc on DK spaceport (wide open). See who wins. Yes, the sorc can beat decent players. But rarely, if ever, against the other Best in Class players. QQ. If this post were just ''can you beat the top Sorc on your server'' there would be 100's of replies. Keep that in mind before you start posting 'hybrid heal' spec, etc. Like to see any Sorc beat Wakalord/assassin, Cialy/Marauder, Grugharina/PT . - Bastion.

My son watches me play SWTOR, and all he notices is how Sent/Guardians own everyone, so guess what he wants to be for Halloween? (I'm a Sorc....ya.. he see's a lot of them kicking my as%) Here's him owning it up vs. some nubs.

Snipers still have 360 degree knockback and 20 second immunity to stun and interrupts. Any Jug/marauder/sentinel/guardian worth half a penny leaps and immediately walks into you or your side; avoiding the knockback entirely. Forget about it if you have more than one, it's a 3 second death in full WH EWH. To make up for this I went hybrid, deep into lightning which now includes my bubble blinding and roots on overload. It's working out., especially the blind on those damn leaps.

thanks, was thinking it was a 'passive' shield or tied to my bubble. I'm still wondering about absorption, it doesn't mitigate all incoming damage?

Tinkering with the idea of making an armor set laden with absorption. However, I haven't kept up with what Shield could do to diminish damage vs. Absorption. This is just for fun, much like the time I stacked haste on my rogue in BC with level 2 daggers - DPS in BT was unmatched and blizz nerfed it. I'm hoping for some interesting results and maybe a ton of survivability vs. Sentinels etc. Has anyone else tried this and what kind of success/failure have you had with it?

Regarding throw, I've had seen it bug /fail on interrupts often, VERY often.

Key quote that I agree with, its not survivability we care about, its burst. We dont have any. If you played your sorcerer at a high level pre 1.2 and post, yknow what I'm talking about. Lets not get thrown off by DPS when it comes to WZ's. All of our dots are countered by HoT's and general talents, total damage at the end of a match doesnt mean ****. you "participate" in kills, actual kills are few now. It f'ing blows and is the PRIMARY reason for the exodus after 1.2. Look at the loss of SUBSCRIPTION #'s, they dont lie - BW ****ed up.
