in 6 months when this games population is cut down significantly, it will be required. for now, not so much.

You don't have to be a hard core player to understand where you should spec, you just need common sense

Talent tree inspection is critical to a good raiding experience in any mmo. The amount of delusion and stupid **** people say like "invasion of privacy" is astounding. If you don't want to improve your gameplay when called out on your odd spec, then by all means don't do change anything. I sure as hell don't want you in my group if that is the case however. Just because you are embarrased doesn't mean that tree inspection shouldn't be added.

Honestly if you're not level 50 yet and you're trying, you're slow. You don't have to spacebar through everything to level at a steady pace.

What they need to do is allow same faction battles in Alderaan and the Voidstar, temporarily. Once time has paseed and the factions even out they can revert it back to the current system

Start with the fundamentals: If you havent done so yet, stop keyboard turning. bind strafe to a and d and unbind turn. From now on you will change directions holding right click. Then slowly begin to keybind all your abilities to what you feel comfortable with. Just as long as you don't need to click anything. Make the keybind transition slow or you will get flustered and be discouraged

There are PLENTY of level 50s at this point, there is no reason not to have a 50s bracket. Get on it, BW

I don't afk. this game takes so long to load anything that by the time i actually get in the game i have 10-5 seconds left. Unless the barrier is down i get kicked, this is not acceptable for a 2011 release.

While pvping in swtor there is nothing more frustrating than being kicked from a WZ right when you join because of the stupid damn 'deserter detection'. Unless you are lucky enough to have the barrier go down just in time you are going to get kicked from the WZ, and to add insult to injury they port you to hutta departures?! honestly bw how does this **** make it through beta? edit: i am talking about joining a game already in progress, and it is worst in huttball.

Who cares what vanilla was. Its cata now. There are now much higher expectations for mmos, and bioware doesnt meet them.

So many of you are completely ignorant to what GW2 is actually doing, yet you continue to bash. SWTOR is a good game, but it will end up like warhammer, aion, and rift because at the end of the day WoW is a much more established mmo, with more content across the board. GW2 will survive. I am not a fanboy, but i know what is true. If they hold up even half of their promises, it will atleast be a decent success. The game is an Action rpg, where you roll and dash and think on your feet, switching your weapons for a new skill set on the fly as needed. The game will focus on PvP, with a open world PvE system. At higher levels we don't know much about End game raiding, so dont talk about it. nobody knows. We do know that there will be outdoor epic events such as dragon attacks, just as an example. Also there are dungeons, obviously. Some of you have said the pvp wont be balanced, for some odd reason. The game is not out. nobody knows. We do know that Anet is focusing hard on making sure that GW2 is viable for competetive gaming, and the Esports word has even been thrown around a few times. The holy trinity is gone. NO ONE in your group will be a tank, healer, or dps. The only heals will be minor. You can fill your group with what ever the hell you want, so you don't have to sit in trade looking for a specific role. In combat you do what is necessary, utilizing your support and control abilities, instead of being protected by a knight and healed by a priest. That is a little information on GW2. I need not speak of SWTOR, as we already know what the game has to offer.

I'll say no to cross server LFD. That really does send a games community into the *******, but a LFD restricted to your server would be amazing
