    Your assumption is flawed as you seem to assume the number of preorders/day is constant throughout the preorder period. However, it seems clear that more preorders/day occurred in the first few days than at any other period. Also you assume a constant admittance threshold for each of the early access days which is another invalid assumption.

    Good point. They have to finish up July tomorrow while also exceeding the first 5 days of pre-order redemption. Perhaps they will even get into September tomorrow?

    That's actually close to what I was guessing. I just don't know if they are ramping up the invite cap each day or if the numbers I see on the web accurately account for pre-orders from all sources.

    I'm actually surprised they got to July 26th/27th. I thought it might just all be day 1 pre-orders today considering "the spike."

    I'm pretty sure the deleted thread contained just as many people making fun of or delighting in the angst of the whiners as much as there was whining. Although my own anecdotal "evidence" should not carry any more weight than your own, but that's how I perceived it.

    No sarcasm. I honestly never considered whether they would try to implement space pvp. I would love to see it in SWTOR.

    To put things in perspective how many of WoW's current 11 mil, oops there goes another, 10 mil, oops there goes another, 9 million player base was there at launch? If SWTOR is successful the people added to the game post-launch will likely outnumber the early access crowd by a good margin.

    Considering that no one outside of BW knows the number of pre-orders and the size of the invite list for each day it's silly to make proclamations of this kind.

    I saw a post on the dev tracker about problems entering retail codes for some people. You might want to scroll through the dev tracker posts to see. As for your play time question the response above is accurate, you should not lose 5 days of play time. The 30 days would start counting from December 20th.

    yep, nice to see someone else has been paying attention to the wave interval. I'd guess 30 to 60 minutes from now (some were a bit longer than 2 hours apart)

    My theorycrafting based on 0 evidence is that they will wrap up July tomorrow and hit most of August, barring any more bonus waves today (there's still one more planned wave today but I think that will still be a july wave).
