  1. you set it to prioritize graphics? wouldnt you want it to prioritize performance
  2. all my drivers are updated, yes I realize that the computer is old and the parts are not particularly amazing but they should still be able to run this game. I ran WOW for the longest time on medium to high settings at 50 fps without any problems. I will wait for a few patches to see if it fixes anything, and also I will try setting everything to high then switching back as you suggested and see if it works. thanks to everyone who posted helpful things. If anyone else has any other helpful advice feel free to comment.
  3. I am checking for updated drivers for my video card right now for everyone saying to turn shadows off, reduce resolution, etc... I have
  4. I have dropped my res, and shadows and played in windowed mode none of it helped to the two that linked the can you run it site, I tested it and it said my computer passes and should in fact be running the game at a "fast" speed and replacing the graphics card in this laptop isnt very feesible
  5. believe me Im working on buying a new desktop, But im a college student so money isnt exactly in great supply right now. but thank you I will try that edit: i went to that site, it said my computer passed, and should be running "fast"
  6. dropped it down to the 2nd lowest one, picked up about 3 fps I dont think its that old I mean the laptop was pretty high end when I bought it a few years ago, I was looking online to see If I could find a comparison to the 7800 (min required) but I couldnt find anything
  7. I have literally everything off, and all the settings at minimum
  8. So I have an Asus laptop its a few years ago but the processor runs @ 2.67, has 4 gigs of ram, windows 7, geforce gt 130m so im not sure why im getting such terrible frame rate...I have all my settings on low, nothing running in the background...Im not sure If I dont meet minimum requirments, I mean I thought I did but if anyone can help itd be greatly appreciated.
