Following the info posted here as to suggestions of what to do to finish the Talos Drellik Companion quest: I went to the PVP area on Tatooine and picked up the "tome of ancient knowledge" buff, it was on a small crate not far from the vendors there, and then returned to the relics on Yavin 4 which are being covered by the "Ancient Threat." The Ancient Threat was NOT triggered as I had the buff and I was able to quickly pick up the relics and get out. The buff in question lasts an hour so there is plenty of time to get it and return to Yavin 4 to get the quest finished. Thank you to the people who posted this solution. It is getting so that players can't play the game without going to threads for suggestions. The game designers are no help so we have to rely on each other. It's just a shame that we have to add steps not in the quest just to get it done. Thanks again for saving my play experience.

I got killed a bunch with my DPS Trooper. I tried the run around technique and five seconds later the thing was dead. Thanks all. It was much easier than I was making it.

Okay, I don't know if this will help or not. As someone else has already suggested, I restarted the game every time I got the error message and on the 9th try the patch began to load. So, until EA fixes the problem, if you encounter it keep reloading and you'll most likely eventually perhaps maybe get in.

I'm getting the same message: "Unable to retrieve patch data. Please check network connection." There is no problem with my network connection (I'm posting this online for God's sake). It would be nice if we could play the game and not have to fight the game at the same time.

Thana Vesh would make a great addition to the new chapter driven expansion. For those who killed her there could easily be a back story that she "wasn't all dead, just mostly dead" and that she was drug off for kolto treatment. She was a first rate character and deserves to come back as an attainable companion.

I have several times bought Cartel Coins. I constantly get spams in-game offering to sell me game credits for cash. Why can't the game sell credits directly to subscribers and cut out these cash for cred spammers? There are things I would like to buy on the GMT that I would gladly by credits from the game to purchase.

How about finally getting rid of the worthless automatic PVP toggle. If you want to play PVP you should have the option of triggering PVP yourself. Wandering accidently to close to a PVP trigger means you can chance continuing and get attacked by a bunch of ***** or finding a rest area to sit around in while your waiting for your PVP to toggle off. Today my toon was on Yavin and I was playing the story. I triggered PVP and tired to continue. Three other toons attacked mine (from ambush of course as that is how they do it) and my toon was dead before I could react. So I said the hell with it and got out of the game. Your attempt to get people sucked into PVP by getting them ambushed is not working. So why not make PVP a player activated switch in all cases so we can play the game we want to play. If it happens to me again I'm out of here.

This may have been already considered but is it possible to give us a Stronghold Bank/ATM where we can deposit credits to be used by all of our toons? This would make unnecessary to constantly mail credits from one toon to another which is tedious. If you like, make it a Decoration that you purchase and install like the Universal Inventory Locker and such.

I used my Shadow and Quizzen. I used forced speed and jumped from the little hill to the south of Grim Tooth. I got trapped at the top of the force barrier as planned. I brought in Quizzen who appeared inside the forcefield. I used Force Wave to agro Grim Tooth. Quizzen began fighting him. I was suddenly returned to the little hill (the game unstuck me) and I watched the fight from outside the forcefield. Quizzen finished him off after a long long time with my shadow powerless to effect the fight. Thanks to those who discovered this technique.

How about a new dancing girl costume perhaps the "Hutt" version worn by Princess Leia? The old one has been around for awhile and looks a bit stale. Also, female players could use a dancing BOY costume (it's only fair). They could be paid for with cartel coins. Just a thought.
