I've done minefield so many times in the past and this has never happened. I am tank in the tower, and when I go down to get the droid as a hologram I get destroyed by the mines. Has something changed in the last patch?

When using a flashpoint boost, does it boost xp for Ops too?

So consider the fact that someone starts a new toon after 2.0 Once they hit 50 they are not going to have any Classic Comms anyway. So are you saying they are screwed? No they can gear up the exact same way anyone does. Having a 51 or 61 isn't going to make things really that much harder when you are questing on a planet anyway. I've never thought to myself on any planet that "I need to gear up!", its more so "I need to level up". I am just saying you get more value out of your comms now, but when 2.0 hits they are going to be trash gear. And its a fact. Even if you gear yourself out in full 61's people arent going to want you in their lvl 55 hm ops... so your going to have to get better gear anyway. 51 and 61 is going to be different levels of crap gear basically. But hey its all good, waste your comms on 61 gear, I'll be booting your *** out of my lvl 55 ops hm's everytime.

Let me put things into perspective... 1 Black Hole Comms = 1 Classic Comms BH /Classic= 61's 61's in 2.0 = Tionese Now 30 BH Comms on Bracer Reverse Engineered = 1 or 2 Mol Stabs Mole Stab Now = 60-70k Mole Stab 2.0 = 10-30k So you have 3 choices 1) Save your BH comm's so you can be geared in trashy tionese 2) Save your BH comm's so you can sell your stabs as vendor trash 3) Or spend them now and make the most gain by selling them stabs! Everyone better be blowing your comms now while they have value, because very soon they wont be worth more than crap. And the gear will be dropping in EV/KP SM anyway, so get some creds while you can...

Someone spoke on behalf of 80 people in their guild... Thats how I got 90 I am telling you this is just another EA money deal. They weren't making the numbers so they are straight to business as usual and throwing all you guys over there into a move it or lose it scenerio and canning your servers. A petition isn't going to change their mind. A few million dollars might, but good luck coughing up that kinda cash lol! I'm sorry, I hate EA as much as anyone... trust me. I will level with you that EA has never cared about their customers so long as they are pocketing their money. In this instance the higher ups said, they aren't making enough from you guys over there so they canned any chance of a server being over there and are squeezing as many people as possible into other servers. Granted they will say its for the players best overall experience, when its really about the complete interest in their share holders and investors. That's just the nature of this beast called EA, it eats up smaller good companies and squeezes the money out of their loyal fan base. That's why I am a big fan of private gaming companies that don't have to listen to people trying to turn gaming into profit, but into an amazing experience for people like Valve Software, because Valve assumes a good game and happy customers are an automatic sign of profit. It's a refreshing feeling being exciting buying a game and knowing its going directly to the company and the people that worked on the games rather than the money bottle-necking at the CEO's and the rest trickling down to the real workers and programmers and then when they don't have enough to go around at the bottom they lay them off. That's exactly how EA is... Also the reason for slow and almost uncommunicative customer support for the questions people have is the fact that they honestly can't answer them without going to the top and asking them how they want to do it first. To which the reply, "How the **** should I know? Release another cartel pack to distract them and help pay for my private flight to Thailand and I'll let you know when I get there while I'm stoned" If you have ever been in the military you would understand this structure. In conclusion, the people holding up the structure genuinely care about the game or at the very least their jobs, but they don't get to make the decisions. The people that have million dollar lifestyles make the decisions, and you can safely assume every single one of their decisions is going to be directly related to making money and nothing to do with whats best for the customer, because whats best for the customer costs too much for them to care. They only see price tags and then pay customer support to make up for lack thereof. The people at the top are not required to be programmers or gamers, they are required to be businessmen and operate a company, so they will run a gaming company much in the same as if they were running a toilet paper factory... marketing and selling as many units as possible.

That petition doesn't mean jack. There are people that do not support a merger. A few examples: And thats only the first 4 pages of people. So you see there are plenty of people who do not support the merger idea. The point here is there is always going to be people who complain no matter what. If they had said they were going to merge servers there would be people complaining about it not being a PVP or RP server, and there would be a petition for that. It's a lose lose no matter what. Cry about it all you want but your wasting your time. There is no point to be made and no battle to be won here. Face the lesser of 2 evils and move on or move away, cuz it is what it is... That would be your opinion and if you look at the facts, this is the only way that guarantees the population problem you guys are having over there is gone for good.

Its the most obvious solution... if you combine the servers there is going to be people mad about that and switch to other servers anyway, thus recreating the same problem they are trying to fix. This is an ultimate fix, and no matter what, people are going to complain. Best just take it with a grain of salt, because it really doesn't matter what you do, this is the solution they see fit and personally I see it to be the best solution as well. People complained about the population and this is the fix. If your going to be mad at anyone be mad at your fellow continental population. As always, welcome to the West Coast!

I have played off of a connection on my cell phone while I was in the military where I had over 1000 ping at all times. That is where the game became hard to handle. But at 400 ping it doesn't cause any game breaking issues, for me atleast. I'm not sure why your connection sucks connecting to a local server, but what I am talking about doesn't involve anything with the Harbinger server. I am not defending Harbinger, I am stating my gameplay when I have 400 ping as very much still playable. All knowing one? I was stating the situation for me or rather an opinion, not stating that I am right and that my **** doesnt stink, but your a clearly an idiot in rage mode...not sure where I said anything offensive ot make you act like a little baby, but its time to grow up.

You are wrong about the ping. I just adjusted my connection to where I was at 400 ping and I had no issues at all. You are just being very negative. It's really not all that bad, but if you focus on it there is nothing else it can be.

Hope to see more players on the Harbinger soon! I see many Australians on Harbinger and they don't complain about any lag and love the population. Anyone worried about the lag shouldn't be. This isn't an FPS so the lag will probably only be slightly noticeable, but not at all game breaking. Best of luck on your future transfer. Harbinger is the place for you!

Not sure what you mean, its already official. Its not that big a deal, it will be super populated now might aswell look at the bright side of htings.
