You have to turn in those quests before you receive the xp and dark/light side points : p

If the above suggestions do not work (as they did not for me when I had something similar happen to me) then log out (don't quit) and log back in. Worked for me. Good luck.

I heard yesterday from a guild mate that they are lvl 50 items (don't know if the person meant schematics or actual required skill level to equip) either way, sounds like a high level item.
