Trion Worlds, a brand new company, managed to release Rift for early access to everyone at the same time. There were even MORE servers available at the launch of Rift than currently are available for SWTOR. Rift had over 500k+ preorders, maybe even closer to 700k. Rift experienced minimal to NO lag issues during headstart. This was almost a year ago. I don't care what anyone says, Bioware is doing it wrong. People would rather deal with lag/server crashes than be locked out of playing entirely. inb4 "Go play Rift if you like it so much" "I never played Rift but I know it sucks" "I would pay $90 for a turd if it said STAR WARS or Bioware on it"
