  1. Better question, why would anyone think this is okay and not deserving of a hotfix? The developers have said that the biggest concerns to them in this game are fixing barriers to progression, story missions, etc. Well this is a huge *** barrier to raiding progression and it needs to be fixed TWO WEEKS AGO.
  2. Last week resetting didn't fix the problem. Jumping through hoops for this crap for 2 weeks now is unacceptable, especially when it was working fine 3 weeks ago. Hotfix this already! How can you possibly be playtesting this raid and thinking this is okay?
  3. So we went in after a disgruntled raid week. We wiped on the pylons (Trying to solve south first, just in case). Now 1 pylon was clickable, the other was not. Killed all the trash that spawned after activating the north pylon, now neither is clickable. THIS GAME IS SO MUCH FUN. (If you tell me to reset the instance, forget it, I'm not going to make my raid group waste even 5 more minutes on that stupid cat trash. Last week we spent 2 hours resetting the instance, even coming back 3 days later, to still have the pylons unclickable)
  4. Bioware why can I no shoot laser beams an infinite distance? Dats just concentrated light!
  5. What's everyone's take on surge vs power? I'm finding that the diminishing returns on surge are so harsh that it's better to just stack power relic and power stim with my base surge. Popping a crit/surge relic puts me at 88% (from 77% base). Popping a adrenal alone puts me at 97%, and combining the 2 puts me at 99%. I tried the power relic/surge adrenal, but the might adrenal still feels like it hits harder. Testing on a mob, I did 6k sweeps with might and 5.6k with surge (in pvp gear). Anyone else want to throw up their findings?
  6. "Dammit, work already!" Fenwich swore, kicking the gun control console in the side. With a grinding noise, the huge gun battery overhead swung around to point directly at the Imperial ship hovering to the south. "Finally! Hey Moh, I got it working!" She laughed as the gun started firing blast after blast of energy at the floating ship. "Moh? Where'd you go?" She spun away from the console as something flew through the air towards her, rolled on the ground, and stopped at her feet. Moh's severed head stared up at her, twisted in a last grimace of pain. Two black cloaked Sith stood at the edge of the platform. One was tall and muscular with the face of a devilish Zabrak. The other was female, a Sith Pureblood. "I think he's a little late," rasped the Zabrak. The Pureblood cackled at his remark. "Step away from the laser controls little girl, and maybe you'll die as quickly as this fool here," she hissed. Fenwich's freckled face clenched in anger. Not at the death of her friend, but at the 'little girl' remark. At 5'2" she was certainly very short, and as she was only 16 years old, many would consider her to still be a girl. But after a month of nonstop bloodshed between Republic and Empire troops fighting for control of the galaxy, she had grown to become seasoned in battle. Apparently these Sith didn't recognize her. "I don't think so," she said softly. "I'm the youngest Battlemaster in the Jedi Order, I've been fighting your people nonstop for a month, and you just killed my friend." Her voice rose to a shout as she threw back her traditional brown jedi robe. With a practiced motion, she Force pulled her lightsaber from her belt and hurled it at the Pureblood, igniting it in midair. The Sith screeched in pain as the lightsaber went humming past her side. The cyan saber arced around behind her and flew straight back to Fenwich's hand. The Sith's robe was split open, and a long cauterized cut was etched on her side. Fenwich threw off her robe completely, freeing herself for combat. Underneath it, she wore a suit of bright Jedi batle armor. With trained ease she leaped a good 30 meters across to the wounded Pureblood, who brought her deep purple saber up just in time to block a killing blow. "Nice try girlie!" she shrieked. Lightning flowed from her free hand and Fenwich convulsed in electrically induced spasms. At the same time, she felt an invisible hand constrict around her throat, squeezing the life out of her. The Zabrak laughed as he choked her with the Force. "Look at her squirm!" he said "I can feel her pain!" Fenwich's vison swam as she struggled to breath through the Force wrapping around her throat. Retreating into her mind, she shielded herself from the pain and built her resolve. With a resolute shout, she broke free of the choke and brought control to her body. Smiling wickedly, Fenwich twisted the Force around the Pureblood, crushing her with an inexorable force. The Sith struggled to move under the rapidly increasing weight. "Wait, stop!" she pleaded as Fenwich lifted her lightsaber, and in one swift stroke, leapt into the air and swept it around. Her cyan saber slashed across the Juggernauts chest, forcing him backwards. It continued on it's arc through the hilt of the Pureblood's saber, and slashed deep into her stomach. Fenwich ripped the saber out of the Pureblood, and with a twist of her wrist, sent a storm of Force energy into her broken body. The Zabrak staggered back in shock as the Pureblood slumped to the ground dead. Raising his saber defensively, he waved his red blade in a protective ward around himself. Fenwich laughed coldly as she wrapped him in flows of the Force, freezing him in place. The Sith roared with fury, breaking the bonds he was trapped in. He brought his saber towards her in a massive sundering strike. Desperately the small girl raised her saber as the brute strength of his blow sent her crashing to her back. "Thanks for killing my competition," he snarled down at her as he lifted his saber for a killing blow. With a last ditch effort, Fenwich Force pushed the Zabrak off of her, sending him sprawling across the floor. Using her free hand, she staggered to her feet. Her lightsaber arm dangled uselessly at her side, such was the strength behind his attack. She reached into a pouch on her belt with her good hand, pulling out a small ampoule of kolto, which she quickly applied to her arm. As feeling returned, she also pulled a small relic out of her belt, and gently pushed the Force into it. The relic responded instantly to her touch, and increased power flowed into Fenwich. The Zabrak was still struggling to his feet as she zealously leapt at him. A flurry of masterful strikes forced him on the defense as she rained blows upon his saber. But he was strong, and she was weaker. Slowly the battle shifted his way. Sensing he had the upper hand, he roared as he sent a ravaging attack towards her. Drawing on the last of her strength, Fenwich kicked the crimson saber out of his hand and sent hers spinning around behind him. "Such fury," he said. "So ruthless. You'd make an excellent Si..." He didn't finish his sentence as her lightsaber stabbed him through the chest from behind, her cyan sword making sharp contrast to his bright red skin. He fell to his knees, and she stepped deftly aside as he collapsed to the ground. Breathing heavily and cradling her injured arm, she slumped to the ground beside him, drawing the Force into herself and renewing her strength. A single tear rolled down her cheek as she realized the Zabrak's words were true. Her days as a naive young Padawan were behind her. The Empire had forced her to become a lethal killing machine, worthy of any Sith legacy. But to protect those she loved, she had no other choice. A missile crashed into the ground beside her and she threw herself away as it exploded. A bounty hunter with a jetpack floated over the hill to the east, followed by 3 more Sith. With an animalistic snarl, she tightened the grip on her saber and dashed forward to meet them...
  7. I'm confused, are you saying that his 10k sweep couldn't possibly come down to 6k after the patch, or the total dmg of his dot tick from force exhaustion + the sweep couldn't come to 6-8k after the patch? Because, yeah, 15%+15% from expertise, +surge adrenal for like 20 (depending on your base surge, it bumps mine from 77 to 97%) is a 50% damage increase. Since it's a crit, that's an even bigger factor in the damage than you realize, it easily does 100% less damage now. On an ungeared sorc, with my expertise or adrenal running, I can crit 6k on my sweep now. 6.1k at the most. Most geared sorcs it's 4.7kish. Anyone else it's less since armor. I've seen my exhaustion tick for 2k on it's last hit as well, so that's your 6-8k down from 14k. Pretty big difference.
  8. Wait people are having more than 100 people try to participate in Ilum pvp? When did this happen? I'm on Ajunta Pall and have NEVER seen a 2nd world instance open up.
  9. Not my video, just one I found by searching.
  10. The Imperial ship is not tall enough for you to jump over the force fields. The only thing I've seen the Imps abuse in Void Star is the AoE stealth plant, which, cheesy as it is, isn't as cheesy as this.
  11. I've actually done the exploit (trying to figure out how it works so I can bug report it). I really hope they fix it soon. It works like this: The Republic ship is tall enough that you can jump up on the side of it and then jump over the force field pen at the start. The doors are open until the start of the match. If, lets say, you had a premade all jump over the wall, you could have 1 stand inside where the door closes, and plant from inside the door, and 1 get to the bridge computers. Basically 2 free plants. I like my WZs fair, so I hope they fix this soon. Link to a video showing the technique (some inappropriate language):
  12. Cause my server, Ajunta Pall, is starting to be one. 17 Republic on the entire planet right now at 9pm Pacific. Roving bands of 15 or so Empire jumping every red name they can find just to try desperately to get their daily done. I just hit Battlemaster, and it looks like I'm going to do 1 pvp daily a day now because the Ilum daily requires so many kills. Change the mission requirements again please, or up the container spawns to like 50 at a time, or allow flipping to count as part of the 30. Something. Going bck to trading objectives would be better than this. ANYTHING would be better than this. At least before the 1.1 patch the Republic had a reason to go into the pvp zone. Please. I beg you.
  13. I'm confused, I've looked all over the 1.1 patch notes and only see the medpac nerfs. Where is what's happening to the stims located? That's the ONLY reference I see to stims. Edit: Oh I found it under the PVP consumable thing. Great, so now instead of bursting 8k I'll just burst 6k more often. Woo.
