Gotta love how people want an already dumbed down game to get dumbed down even further. 100k is not much at all, go do some dailies or something.

That's because once you get to the higher levels of gear you should easily be at about 28-32% unbuffed crit, which is pretty much where you'd stop wanting to get crit rating and start getting more surge/alacrity/power.

^^^^ I've seen quite a few good players on Republic side, I guess you're just getting unlucky.

I'm waiting on a full set of PVP gear before properly making my judgments on PVP healing in this game, but from what I've seen right now, it's quite bad. Between the awful UI, the high amounts of damage which I'm hoping will be fixed with PVP gear (note: horrible players shouldn't be able to global a healer, it should take some modicum of skill from the dps), Huttball (worst invention ever) and the absurd amounts of knock backs/stuns/pulls it isn't that great of an experience.
