I updated windows (10), and now the swtor launcher keeps crashing.. Just me? Any ideas?

i get system service exception (dxgmms2.sys) google suggests that it is a gpu issue... Only happens when i use the swtor flight travel system. anyone know how to fix it? I have a gtx 770

I've been through 3 planets now with no convo. although I made this toon like a year ago and then quit so maybe i already used my convos up via influence.

1) my companion (the SI force eater) has not participated in class quest cut scene since the starter world. He just stands there. Is this normal, or a bug? I find it extremely detrimental to the story that my companion has no lines. i bet SWTOR paid 8 figures for voiceactors. they might as well have voiced the companions as well.. 2) When i stopped playing SWTOR, I just had to increase influence via gifts and I could talk to my companions- i have heard that this has changed to be related to story progress, not influence- is this true? If not, what level (around) do you get companion quests and stuff? My force eater is level 11 influence and I haven't been able to speak to him since I resubbed (he was 6 I think)
