  1. I mean really, what is the point in doing them?

With Bioware admitting they're balancing the game around class popularity and the rewards being kinda lackluster what's really the point? Seems like a lot of frustrations for very little.

  2. Or more specifically when does it stop being RP and turn into harassment?

As we all should know by now sith are jerks. Most of them treating other people as lower than them. And it's no secret that a lot of the empire is pretty racist.

So how far could you go RPing like that before it's considered harassment?

  3. Well guys guess what?

In 1.2 you can rip EVERTHING out of your PvP/PvE armor and put it into social gear or crafted moddables. Set bonus' are attached to the armoring.

So we will be seeing a few people running around in Slave girl outfits in BM gear stats.

Isn't 1.2 also the patch where we get crittable orange craftables? I.E orange gear with augment slots?

  4. If you really want to force teamwork, remove all rewards for defeat.

This doesn't reward teamwork... it rewards mediocrity.

But I suspect there are enough bad players that this will be a popular change.

It's the lesser evil. Removing rewards for defeats would just encourage premades and elitism. No battlemaster? No group.

  5. What other numbers would there be? Of course subscription. Why would I need to get my mind back? Swtor already lost 20% subs in the first month. It's going to be even more awesome this month to see them losing subs again. Better yet I'll even go as far as to say that Swtor will die before this coming summer.

Because judging the success of PvP based on subscription for a game that entails so much more than just that is not a proper indicator.

  6. No it's your opinion that Swtor PvP is better than WoW and it's my opinion that Swtor PvP is crap and skilless.

Say what you what and believe what you want but numbers dont lie.

What numbers are you talking about? Subscriptions? If so you really need to get your mind back because you're talking nonsense.

  7. You actually believe the words you're typing? The way you praise WoW like you actually believe it yourself is puzzling to me. While it's not that great in SWtOR it's still a lot better than in WoW. The only thing WoW has going for it in terms of PvP is responsive gameplay.
  8. It's not a bug. A friend and I tested it yesterday before the patch and you don't get a win for blowout matches. Any even fights count for your daily win.

Well if it's not a bug then it's an incredibly questionable design choice.

  9. looks like this will be an improvement. What do you guys think?

It's obvious from comments here that the patch note is not specific enough, so we'll get it updated before the patch goes to the live servers. Here are some specifics:

Champion Bags now always contain 15 Centurion Commendations AND 7Champion Commendations. Battlemaster Bags now always contain 15 Champion Commendations. So Centurion gearing up progression for new level 50s is increased significantly and Champion gearing up progression will be steady.

We do still intend on adding more intro level 50 PvP items as well as change how Battlemaster Commendations operate toward the same 'steady' goal. It's just the scope of that change was more than could be done in a weekly patch as it included vendor changes, conversions to existing commendations on players already, etc.

That being said, the current interim 'gearing up' system will change significantly when we introduce Ranked Warzones (aiming for Game Update 1.2). Stay tuned for more details on that.

Obviously in the future they should be more specific when they tell of future changes. If they would just do that from the start there wouldn't be this kind of drama.

  10. So they can't nerf it to make it equal, interesting...

You don't nerf the strongest gear. You make craftable items with expertise and add cheap entry level PvP gear. Neither of which exists at the moment.

The issue with fresh 50's in PvP is expertise. A stat that is requires in PvP but can only be gained randomly or though a grind that is so slow that by the time you can get any you'll have access to battlemaster gear.
