  1. Some people hate the Consular's story, others love it.... ...so obviously it always comes down to personal taste! But one most people would agree to be possibly THE best of them all is the Imperial Agent, so definitely give that one a try! If you don't mind playing the mirror class for your JK, give the Sith Warrior a try, it is epic! Especially now with the 12x XP bonus for being a subscriber (due to the new expansion) you should try to play as many stories as possible to get the most out of the game!
  2. Thank you very much! That was basically my only worry, as I really like Zabraks and also feel that lore-wise they suit the class very well.
  3. I am also thinking about rolling a Zabrak trooper. Now, I'm just wondering whether the horns will show through helmets (like the Pureblood's tendrils often do)?
  4. Hey mate! I did not know that you could level beyond 55 without owning SoR, but the content ist definitely locked for you. If I remember correctly, those who did not own RotHC got that expansion for free, when Revan was released. So, seeing that KotFE will release this October, it might make sense to wait and see whether you get Revan for free by purchasing that. Otherwise, if you really want the content, I'd say go for it! It's definitely a good expansion, certainly better than Hutt Cartel!
  5. Yes, indeed all you need to remember (besides learning what your skills do and how to use them) is to regularly buy new mods for your equipment (or whenever you feel that you take too much damage). Other than that I have to say that SWTOR is probably one of the easiest MMO's PVE-wise because it is just so well-structured and therefore hard to lose track of what to do or where to go, especially due to the 100% voiced dialog-sequences and class stories. Just bear these things in mind and the fact that (as long as there is no ridiculously high 12x XP bonus for class quests) you should just pick up every quest you can find (they are usually structured in a way that you will solve them all within the same area, so you can pick up rewards in waves, so to speak) and you should be perfectly fine! I have played about every major MMO on the market (except all the Pay2Win crap) and believe me when I say that SWTOR is probably the easiest "classic" MMO there is. Have fun!
  6. I would guess that they are just noobs - simple as that! I recall that when I started playing at launch, I clicked "need" quite alot, without always taking the time to check the stats, in order to find out if I can even use the equipment... My teammates sure sorted me out and I haven't "ninja looted" ever since. Just remember to be nice about it, many probably don't know what they are doing!
  7. Do people still roleplay then? As far as I know, all RP-servers have been shut down because they were too lightly populated.
  8. The same goes for guild chats and overall I believe it comes down to common sense. I mean, if there are possibly hundreds of other players using the same channel, it should be rather obvious that whatever you are talking about might spoil a little something for them. Just think and use a private channel!
  9. I think most people are just really hoping for the same kind of "unique to class"-storytelling that we had with vanilla content. As I have mentioned in another thread, they will probably not even think about doing it until they completely run out of ideas, but what I'd really like to see is something similar to WoW's Pandaren, meaning a new faction, offering a new class with the choice of which faction (Republic or Empire) to join after a tutorial world left to the player - no, it's not an original concept, but nonetheless one I'd like to see being introduced to SWTOR. Either way, as long as the advertised storytelling of KotFE is any good, I am happy!
  10. I can also confirm that since the upgrade to WIndows 10, I have had no problems compatibility-wise! The only weird thing though is that when I set my native resolution to fullscreen, a very minor part of the top end of the screen is cut off, whereas "fullscreen windowed" looks perfectly normal. Not sure what the problem is, but it wasn't there before the upgrade.. Anyhow, this is just a minor thing and other than that the game runs just fine.
  11. I also returned after a few month's break about three days ago and I am loving it just as much as I always had.... maybe even more, seeing how much has been changed/improved upon! I had played since beta, but was forced to take a few breaks due to uni and family stuff. Anyway, I can certainly confirm one thing: There has never been a better time to return (and become a sub) than now - especially with this XP bonus for main story quests running right now!
  12. Thanks alot for that list! My jugg and guardian have almost reached 60 now and barely picked up any..
  13. They are probably referring to American time zones and as of now it should be around noon (of the 31st) there, so yes, you should still get him.
